Objective To investigate the MR imaging features of chondroblastoma, and to address the correlation with findings of X-ray radiography and CT.Methods The imaging findings including MRI,X-ray radiography and CT of 16 chondroblastomas proved by surgery and pathology were analyzed and correlated with each other. Results All sixteen chondroblastomas involved the epiphyses of long bones, with varying sizes from 0.8 cm to 5.1 cm and lobulation. They were iso- and hypo-intense on T1WI and had heterogeneous signals on T2WI.They were of soft tissue density on CT,and had areas of calcifications and low density. The rims were hypointense on both T1 WI and T2 WI and showed hyperdensity on CT. The lesions were surrounded by edema of bone marrow which was hypointense on T1 WI and hyperintense on fat suppressed T2WI,while on X-Ray film and CT it was hyperdense sclerotic area. The adjacent soft tissues were swelling.Nine cases had periosteal abnormalities on MRI in which 8 of 9 periosteal abnormalities were distant from the primary lesions, and 6 of them showed hyperdense perosteal new bone on CT.Twelve cases had joint effusion on MRI and CT detected 6 of them. The lesions had heterogeneous enhancement, and there was enhancement in areas of edema within bone marrow, periosteal reaction and adjacent soft tissue.Chondroblastoma was intermediate and hyperintense on DWI,and the intermediate areas on both T1 WI and T2WI,together with areas of bone marrow edema, periosteal reaction and soft tissue swelling, were hyperintense on DWI.Conclusions The MRI,X-ray and CT can reflect the pathological changes of chondroblastoma from different aspects. The characteristics of chondroblastoma can be better appreciated by combining different imaging methods.

Objective To investigate the kinetic expression level of chemokines (MCP-1 and MIP-2) in vagina of a murine model of vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC).Methods The estrogen-treated murine model of VVC was set up.Vaginal specimens were obtained in different duration after inoculation of C.albicans intravaginally.Semi-quantitative RT-PCR was applied to determine MCP-1 and MIP-2 mRNA levels in these tissues. Results Compared with the control mice treated with olive oil, persistent growth of C.albicans was found from the 2nd day to 21st day after inoculation in estrogen-treated mice.Significantly higher levels of MCP-1 mRNA were observed in vaginal tissues in infected estrogen-treated mice than those in other 2 groups, infected but non estrogen-treated mice and estrogen-treated but uninfected mice. The high level of MCP-1 mRNA maintained from the 4th day to 21st day in infected estrogen-treated mice.It was also found that levels of MIP-2 mRNA were significantly higher in the vagina in the 2nd day in 3 groups of mice than those in naive mice, however,no significant difference was shown among 3 groups throughout the study period. Conclusion High level of MCP-1,rather than MIP-2,may be associated with susceptibility to VVC.

Chinese Journal of Dermatology 1995;0(01):-
Objective To investigate the species and DNA polymorphism of Candida strains from different individuals and to find the relationship between the species or DNA patterns of strains and different patient groups. Methods The present study chose the isolates from 3 different sources groups(from the patients with vulvovaginal candidiasis, recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis or asymptomatic carriers respectively). Germ tube test, chlamydospore test, CHROMagar Candida and API20 kit system were applied to separate non-Candida albicans strains from Candida albicans. Random amplification of polymorphic DNA (RAPD) analysis was used to study DNA typing of 97 strains of Candida collected from different patients and to determine whether isolates from different patients were genetically similar or dissimilar. The data were analyzed by SPSS10.0. Results The ninety-seven isolates consisted of 83 strains of Candida albicans and 14 of non-Candida albicans. Of 9 random primers used, two primers (primer 4 and primer 7) gave good reactions, the sequences of which were 5′-ACCCGACCTG-3′, 5′-GGTGACGCAG-3′ respectively. The 99 isolates could be classified into 19 and 21 genotypes by the two primers respectively. Different genotype was not shown in most isolates from different groups. A particular genotype associated with different conditions was seen in only a few isolates. Conclusion Candida albicans is the main pathogenic yeasts and most strains of non-Candida albicans are C.glabrata in the vulvovaginal candidiasis. Genotyping of most isolates didn′t show obvious correlation with different patient groups.

Objective To investigate the effect of the language intervention to reduce patients′discomfort during a colonoscopy examination. Methods A total of 72 subjects who accepted a colonoscopy process in the Digestive Endoscopy Department of the Dalian Central Hospital from September 2014 to December 2015 were divided by random number table method into two groups, 38 for the control group and 34 for the observation group. The control group adopted routine nursing care, while the observation group adopted the language intervention besides the routine nursing care, in accordance with the implementation steps of language intervention for patients who accepted the colonoscopy examination, which means the four stages , the four positions and the four methods. The first stage: the enteroscope entered the anus and arrived the rectum , applied the deep breathing with anal movement method . The second stage: from the rectum to the sigmoid colon, used the induce distraction method. The third stage: stimulated the patients′ excitement at the junctional area of descending colon and transverse colon (the spleen area). The fourth stage: at the junctional area of transverse and ascending colon (the liver ares), used the continuous excitation method. In each stage, individualized language intervention and psychological nursing were given to every patient in the observation group. The cooperating effect of the two groups were evaluated. Results The frequency of pain, the pain scores, the frequency of pressing and the average insertion time of the control group respectively were (8.68 ± 0.83) times,(45.08 ± 6.66) points, (5.73±0.75) times,(372.26±31.77) s, while the observation group were (4.53±0.38) times,(17.07± 3.01) times,(2.05±0.38) times,(268.61±14.51) s, less than the control group ,the t value respectively were 3.81,27.17,3.51,4.66, and the difference was significant (P<0.01 or 0.05). Conclusions Using the language intervention nursing method can significantly relieve the patients′ nervous and anxiety during the procedure, ease the pain and discomfort, shorten the insertion time, improve the subjects′ experience during the colonoscopy examination, make the patients more coordinate with the examination and complete it successfully.
