To review the literatures on the treatment of sleep disorder with acupuncture and moxibustion in China in recent years. we believed that combined acupuncture and medicine, acupuncture and auricular acupuncture had obvious advantages in the treatment of sleep disorder after stroke.

Objective To investigate the value of MR imaging in distinguishing adenomas from malignant tumors in gallbladder. Methods Clinical data and MR imaging features of 40 lesions in 37 patients with gallbladder adenomas (GA)confirmed by pathology were collected and reviewed retrospectively.Results The univariate analysis demonstrated that age (P =0.044),size (P =0.001), ratio of high-intensity signals on T2 WI (P =0.013),lobular margin (P <0.000 1),and tumor shapes (P =0.001)were statistically significantly different between adenomas and the malignancy.The Logistic regression analysis showed that only two parameters were significantly different for the prediction of malignant tumors of gallbladder,including lobular margin (P=0.002)and size (P=0.046).Further analysis with ROC curve showed that a threshold value of lesion diameter to distinguish the benign and malignancy could be at 1.59 cm. Conclusion Both lobular margin of GA and maximal diameter are independent factors in predicting the nature of GA,and the former exhibits more significant.Low ratio of high signal intensity in T2 WI and type circular shape are the contradictory factor for predic-ting adenocarcinoma of gallbladder.MRI is useful in the identification of patients with GA and gallbladder carcinoma developed from GA.

One hundred kinds of excellent books on basic medicine were selected from Wanfang Data Knowledge Platform to develop a books-papers citation database.Their academic levels of the selected books were evaluated by PageRank algorithm.The chapters and sections of the books were divided into 4 parts according to their PageRank value and the distribution characteristics of their citation frequencies to study the PageRank and the top 20 cited chapters and sections of the books.The advantages and disadvantages of PageRank algorithm in book evaluation were described.

Objective To assess the quality of literature of clinical studies on acupuncture in treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome.Methods The literatures between 1998-2008 were searched by means of electronic retrieval.Type and methodology,general condition,criteria for diagnosis and assessment of therapeutic effects,following-up and side effects etc.in clinical studies were evaluated according to principles and methods of clincial epidemiology and evidence-based medicine.Results Of the 78 literatures enrolled,76 were studied in China and published in Chinese journal of China,only 2 were English literature and published in English journal of China.Only 7 were authentic randomized controlled trials(RCTs),21 quasi-randomized controlled trials and RCTs can't contact with authors,3 non-randomized concurrent controlled trials and 47 narrative studies.50 had clear international recognized diagnostic ctriteria.22 mentioned enrolled or excluded criteria.26 adopted TCM criteria for therapeutic effects,27 evaluated therapeutic effects with grading.4 the sample content above 100,33 between 60 and 99,4 mentioned compliance evaluation,3 described retreat cases,2 reported follow-up.11 reported adverse reaction.Conclustion Clinical studies on acupuncture in treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome were mainly carried through in China,and the quality of study and literature is low comparatively.Therefore,high quality's RCTs with strict design are needed urgently in this area and the researchers should contribute to journals overseas.

Objective To identify and analyze the species of vaginal lactobacilli between patients with bacterial vaginosis (BV) and healthy women at childbearing age in Inner Mongolia. Methods From Jun. 2008 to Dec. 2008, 203 Mongolian healthy women, 74 Han healthy women and 102 Mongolian patients with BV from 3 pastoral areas were enrolled in this study. Isolation and culture of lactobacilli from vaginal wall were performed by modified culture medium. DNA of lactobacilli were extracted and sequenced. H2O2 were detected by TMB-HRP-MRS. Results(1)The rate of lactobacilli identification were 76.8%(156/203) in Mongolian healthy women and 21.6% (22/102) in Mongolian patients with BV, which reached statistical difference(P＜0.01).Lactobacilli identification in Han healthy women [82.4%(61/74)] did not show significant difference with that of Mongolian healthy women (P＞0.05). (2) The total of 193 strains and 11 species of Lactobacillus were detected in 203 Mongolian healthy women. Meanwhile,22 strains and 4 species of Lactobacillus were found in 102 Mongolian BV cases.(3)The rate of H2O2 generating Lactobacilli was 27.3% (6/22) in Mongolian BV patients and 75.7% (56/74)in Mongolian healthy women, which showed statistical difference(P＜0.05). Conclusions The rate of Lactobacillus was not related with the race of women in pastoral area in Inner Mongolian. The amount of lactobacilli and H2O2 generating Lactobacilli in the vagina of BV patients was remarkably lower than those of healthy women at childbearing age.

ObjectiveTo investigate the clinicopathological features,immunohistochemical phenotype of pancreatic acinar cell carcinoma.MethodsEight cases of pancreatic acinar cell carcinoma admitted to our hospital from January 2001to January 2011were retrospectively analyzed. The clinicopathological characteristics,and immunohistochemical staining for phenotype were analyzed,then the follow-up data were summarized.ResultsAll 8 patients with pancreatic acinar cell carcinoma was male,with a median age of 47 years old.Tumors were located in the pancreatic head in 4 patients,pancreatic body and tail in 4 patients.The average tumor size was 4.5 cm × 4.0 cm × 3.2 cm,the section appeared as gray or gray-red and presented as solid or cystic lesions.Larger tumors were often accompanied by hemorrhage and necrosis.Microscopically,the tumor cells arranged in acinic,cord,trabecular or solid nests.The cytoplasm was abundant and eosinophilic.The nuclear was round,oval,slightly atypia.lmmunohistochemical staining showed diffusely positive for CAM5.2,α-AT,α-ACT and focally positive for CA19-9,CEA,E-cad,β-cat and MUC-1 and only occasionally positive for AFP,NSE,Syn and CgA.Follow-up data showed there was one case of postoperative death due to postoperative pancreatic leakage with abdominal infection.Liver metastasis occurred in 4 cases,among whom,2 cases died.ConclusionsPancreatic acinar cell carcinoma is a rare epithelial malignant tumor of pancreas,with distinct phenotype characteristics.

In order to study the chemical constituents in the water extract of the stem of Nauclea officinalis, column chromatography over D101 macroporous resin and silica gel and an automatic purification system were used to isolate and purify the chemical constituents from the extract. Nine compounds were obtained. By analysis of the physicochemical properties and spectral data, their structures were identified as naucleamide G (1), 3, 4-dimethoxyphenol-beta-D-apiofuranosyl (1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranoside (2), kelampayoside A (3), 3alpha, 5alpha-tetrahydrodeoxycordifoline lactam (4), naucleamide A-10-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (5), pumiloside (6), 3-epi-pumiloside (7), strictosamide (8) and vincosamide (9), separately. Among them, compound 1 is a new compound, compound 2 was found in plants of the genus Nauclea for the first time, and compounds 3 and 4 were isolated from this plant for the first time.

Objective According to the level of serum cystatin C (Cys-C)in patients with multiple myeloma (MM),to explore its significance of early assessment to renal damage.Methods To select 42 patients with MM(MM group) and 30 healthy subjects(control group),and measure serum Cys-C,creatinine (SCr) and β2-microglobulin (β2-MG).Results The level of serum Cys-C in MM group was significantly higher than that in control group [(2.34 ± 0.57) mg/L vs.(0.66 ± 0.12) mg/L],which increased with ISS stage[Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ stage was(1.77 ± 0.38),(2.11 ± 0.46),(3.14-± 1.07) mg/L](P＜ 0.05).Cys-C and β 2-MG,renal function had a positive correlation (r =0.760,0.694,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The increasing of Cys-C in MM patients is related to impaired renal function and tumor burden,which can be used as an early assessment indicators.
