Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2008;31(20):38-40
Objective To summarize the clinical characteristics.diagnosis and treatment of familial papillary thyroid microcarcinoma(PTMC).Method The clinical data of 8 cases of familial PTMC admitted from October 2004 to January 2005 were analyzed. Results All patients were followed-up during 9 to 13(mean 10.8)months. No one suffered recurrence and dead. PTMC was found in 2 cases incidentally from thyroid specimens removed for supposed benign disease, another 6 cases were doubtful of cancer before operation and were identified by frozen section.Upper deep cervical lymph nodes were involved in 2 eases with lymph node metastasis. Lymph node metastasis in eases of multifoeal cancer in the affected lobe or of both lobe was significantly higher than those in monofoccal cancer in uni-lobe. Conclusions Most of the PTMC are found among the benign nodules during operation or within the pathological specimens, and familialPTMC are rather rare. Careful palpation, color Doppler uhrasonography, exploratory operation and frozen section are very important factors to heighten diagnosis of PTMC. Lobectomy is the routine radical operation.

The scientific research fund is an important resource for carrying out the scientific re-search projects effectively. Whether it can be reasonable used not only relates to the fulfilled quality, bene-fit, using direction and quantity, but also makes the reformation of management methods inevitable with the increase of quantities of the projects and funds. By summarizing the previously practical experiences, this paper explored the network managements of scientific research funds based on workflow in the hospital. By means of computer and network, the concept of workflow was further introduced to the application of platform of scientific research funds management. It embodies the charactor of approval flow in workflow management system. Finally the data of scientific research funds can be shared and integrated into multi-departments, so it is beneficial to improve the fund's benefit and strengthens the supervision in the whole process manage-ment.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 1988;0(06):-
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of light cure Dyractflow (LCDF) in pit and fissure enamel-plasty sealant technique (EST). Methods A total of 400 first permanent molars in 200 patients aged from 6 to 10 years were treated with LCDF in occlusal pit and fissure enamel-plasty sealant technique. The opposite permanent teeth treated with LCDF in occlusal pit and fissure conventional sealant technique (CST) were employed as the controls. The patients were followed up for 3 years. Results Follow-up for 3 years showed that there was no significant difference in preservation rate between the EST and the CST groups in the first year, but in 2-3 years, there was significant difference in preservation rate (P

International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2015;(18):2635-2637
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) biochemical indexes in central nervous system (CNS) infection .Methods The results of CSF culturing and detection of biochemical indexes including glucose(Glu) ,lactate dehy‐drogenase(LDH) ,chloride ion(Cl) and protein(PRO) were collected from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi′an Jiaotong University from September to December 2013 .Taking the results of CSF culturing as golden standard ,the biochemical indexes were analyzed by using receiver‐operating characteristic(ROC) curve for single index and combined indexes .Results A total of 157 CSF speci‐mens were collected ,including 39 culture‐positive specimens and 118 culture‐negative specimens .Areas under ROC curve(AUC) of Glu ,LDH ,Cl and PRO were 0 .653 ,0 .633 ,0 .626 ,0 .671 ,respectively .The AUCs of combined detection of these biochemical inde‐xes were higher than those of single index ,and the AUC of combined detection of these four indexes was the largest ,up to 0 .694 , but all were less than 0 .7 .Conclusion Glu ,LDH ,Cl and PRO all could be independent biochemical indexes for diagnosing CNS in‐fection ,among which PRO has the highest diagnostic value .And combined detections of these indexes are better than single detec‐tions ,especially combination of four indexes ,which is the strongest indicator ,but accuracy is low whether single or combined detec‐tion .More sensitive and specific biomarkers of CSF should be explored for rapid diagnosis of CNS infection .

Journal of International Pharmaceutical Research 2017;44(1):1-12
Anthrax is a malignant infectious disease caused by Bacillus anthracis spores, after entering the host Bacillus an-thracis produces and releases anthrax toxin, which is the main cause leading to death of the host. The anthrax toxin is composed of two enzymatically active components:lethal factor(LF)and edema factor(EF),and one shared receptor binding and translocation com-ponent:protective antigen(PA). PA combined with LF is called lethal toxin(LeTx),while PA combined with EF called edema toxin (EdTx). Currently, the main drugs for treating anthrax are antibiotics, but antibiotics can only kill part of anthrax spores and bacte-ria,and cannot inhibit the activity of anthrax toxin. So it is necessary to develop novel drugs for inhibiting anthrax toxin. This review summarizes the evolution of small-molecule inhibitors of anthrax toxin respectively targeting PA,LF and EF.

Objective To provide theoretical guidance for further research on the role of miR-1 99a-3p in formation and development of bladder cancer. Methods Mature sequence of miR-1 99a-3p was analyzed;target genes and transcription factors of miRNA-1 99a-3p were predicted, and the target genes were analyzed for gene ontology (GO)enrichment and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genome (KEGG)pathway. Then TF-miRNA-mRNA network diagram was constructed. Results Sequences of miR-1 99a-3p were highly conserved in various species. In GO analysis, the target genes of miR-1 99a-3p were enriched in many biological processes, such as regulation of cellular process, regulation of macromolecule metabolic process, and regulation of biological process (P <0.01 ).In KEGG pathway, the target genes were mainly located in bacterial invasion pathway of epithelial cells,ECM-receptor interaction pathway,PI3K-Akt signaling pathway,MAPK signaling pathway, small cell lung cancer pathway, and proteoglycans pathway in the cancer (P <0.05).According to the TF-miRNA-mRNA network diagram, the important genes that might be regulated by miR-1 99a-3p were MYC,SP1,mTOR,NFκB,and NFκB1.Conclusion miR-1 99a-3p may directly target mTOR and participate in the formation and development of bladder cancer through regulating PI3K-Akt-mTOR signaling pathway.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2015;(2):170-174,175
β-arrestins, a kind of important adaptor protein and signal transduction protein found in the purification process ofβ-adrenergic receptor kinase (β-ARK) ,were first identified as pro-teins that have the ability to desensitize G protein-coupled recep-tors ( GPCR) . Fibrosis is defined by the overgrowth, hardening, and scarring of various tissues and is attributed to excess deposi-tion of extracellular matrix ( ECM ) components including colla-gen . A large number of studies have shown thatβ-arrestins play an important role in the process of fibrotic diseases, involved in inflammatory response and excess deposition of ECM. This re-view discusses the research status and development prospects ofβ-arrestins-mediated fibrotic diseases.
