Objective To explore the clinical effect of Chinese medicine enema combined with massage of Hui medicine for treatment of patients with ulcerative colitis (UC).Methods A prospective randomized controlled trial (RCT) was conducted, 390 patients with UC admitted to Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region People's Hospital from January 2013 to December 2014 were enrolled, and they were divided by using random envelope method into the western medicine control group (88 cases), simple TCM enema group (102 cases), simple massage of Hui medicine group (94 cases) and enema combined with massage group (106 cases). The patients in western medicine control group took sulfasalazine orally, once 0.75 g, thrice a day. The simple TCM enema group adopted the self prepared Shexue Fuyang decoction (ingredients: carbonized sanguisorba root 15-20 g, bletilla striata 15 g, patrinia 15-30 g, sculellaria barbata 15-30 g, Chinese goldthread 15 g, radix glycyrrhizae preparata 15 g, Fry terminaliachebuia 10 g, yam 15-30 g, india madder root 15 g) retention enema once a day. The following principles should be followed: firstly, the dose of drug should be large enough (250 mL), secondly the speed of enema should be relatively slow and it finished in 15-20 minutes, thirdly the temperature of decoction should be kept at moderate degree about 39-41 ℃ (a warm bag being around the enema tube), and lastly, the patient's posture should be changed (lying left-side for 20 minutes, lying at chest-abdomen position for 20 minutes, lying right-side for 20 minutes). In massage of Hui medicine group, based on the location and size, depth and seriousness of the lesion, the doctor would selectively use palm or index finger to carry out massage manipulations of pressing, fractioning, rubbing or grasping for different disease situations of patients, once 30 minutes pre day. The patients in enema combined massage group were treated with the same methods as above, and the therapeutic course of the four groups was 15 days; at the end of experiment,the therapeutic effects and the improvement of main symptoms in four groups were observed.Results The clinical total effective rates of Chinese medicine enema group, massage of Hui medicine group, enema combined massage group were obviously higher than the rate of western medicine control group [78.4% (80/102), 85.1% (80/94), 93.4% (99/106) vs. 62.5% (55/88), allP < 0.05]; the symptom integrals, such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, tenesmus, purulent blood stool, fever, etc. were significantly decreased after treatment in the TCM enema, massage and combined treatment groups, and the integrals of the three treatment groups were obviously lower than those in the western medicine control group (abdominal pain: 0.45±0.75, 0.56±0.57, 0.35±0.96 vs. 1.13±0.86, diarrhea: 0.76±0.91, 0.78±0.69, 0.55±0.81 vs. 1.43±0.34, tenesmus: 0.52±0.37, 0.44±0.23, 0.21±0.13 vs. 0.72±0.98, purulent blood stool: 0.43±0.34, 0.50±0.24, 0.52±0.76 vs. 0.68±0.44, fever: 0.32±0.56, 0.35±0.65, 0.26±0.45 vs. 0.49±0.77, allP < 0.05).Conclusion The therapeutic effects of Shexue Fuyang decoction enema combined with massage of Hui medicine for treatment of patients with UC are better than those of each of the following treatment alone: western medicine, Chinese medicine enema or medical massage treatment.

Objective To analyze the requirements of the Chinese PLA biosecurity and disease prevention and to develop an Internet information tracking system for infectious disease surveillance .Methods A focused crawler was used to automatically collect Internet information about infectious diseases before the information could be released , automatically correlated and analyzed .Results This system could claw the Internet information of infectious disease surveillance and build an infectious disease surveillance information knowledge database .Conclusion The use of this system can not only improve the efficiency of information studies , but also meet the information requirements of infectious disease prevention in Chinese PLA.

This article was aimed to observe the preventive effect of diabetes with atherosclerosis (AS) treated with Bie-Jia-Jian Pill (BJJP) on level of blood lipids, endothelin (ET), nitric oxide (NO), and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9). Male SD rats were randomly divided into 5 groups, which were the blank group, model group, low-dose BJJP group, high-dose BJJP group and Xue-zhi-kang (XZK) group, to observe changes on the level of blood lipids, ET-1, NO and MMP-9 within 5 groups after 8-week administration. The results showed that compared with the blank group, the level of the content of NO in the model group was significantly decreased (P< 0.05), the level of ET-1 was significantly increased (P < 0.05). Compared with the model group, the high-dose and low-dose BJJP group as well as XZK group can significantly decrease the level of ET-1 (P< 0.05, or P< 0.01), increase content of NO (P< 0.05, or P< 0.01), and decrease the expression of MMP-9 (P< 0.05). It was concluded that the BJJP can regulate blood lipids, protect endothelial cell of blood vessels, stabilize plaques for the anti-AS effect.

Objective:To investigate the effects of Jianpijiedutang combined with Kangfuxin Liquid in the treatment of recurrent oral ulcer(ROU).Methods:80 patients with ROU were divided into 2 groups(n=40).The patients in control group were treated with Kangfuxin Liquid local spray,those in the test group were treated with Jianpijiedutang combined with Kangfuxin Liquid spray.The patients were followed up for 24 weeks.The effects were evaluated according to the trial standard of Chinese Stomatological Association.Results:The interval of ROU increased and ulcer number decreased in the 2 groups during the observation period,the test group showed more effective outcome than the control group(P<0.05).In the treatment group ROU interval increased more than in the control group(P<0.01),and ROU ulcer number decreased more(P<0.01).Conclusion:The Jianpijiedutang combined with Kangfuxin Liquid spray is more effective than the latter used only.

Objective To preparegraphene quantum dots (GQDs) and construct a novel biosensor for determination of dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA).Methods The GQDs was prepared by carbonization method from citric acid as carbon sources.Differential pulse voltammetry was used by the modified electrodes to detect uric acid and dopamine,and the detection performance was evaluate.Collected three experimenters morning urine on July 29,2016.The proposed sensor was used for biological samples detection.Results The size of GQDs were between 3 to 5 nm,which was observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM).The proposed sensor had good linear correlation of 50～600 μmol/L UA (r2 =0.996 6) and 2～ 240 μmol/L DA (r2 =0.992 5).In uric acid in urine samples' detection (n=3),RSD value was less than 3％.The standard addition recovery rates of UA and DA were in 95.7％～101.4％ and 96％～102％ respectively.Conclusion The biosensor based on GQDs for determination DA and UA had been constructed successfully.

Objective To establish a military disease prevention and control website to achieve dissemination of disease control information , resource sharing , business communication in the whole army , and popularize relevant knowledge of disease prevention and control promotion among the troops .Methods Based on the content management system and meta-data repository platform,B/S system architecture, JSP,MySQL and other programming techniques and tools were used to complete the system development .Results The military disease prevention and control website we designed has been for-mally launched ,which was able to implement a set of functions such as content distribution , full-text retrieval ,classification and aggregation of knowledge , online consultation .Conclusion This website plays a positive role in enhancing military prevention and control ,popularizing relevant laws and regulations ,meeting the health needs of the army soldiers and impro-ving the ability of disease prevention in grass-roots units.

Objectives To analyse the etiology and clinical characteristics of syncope in children. Methods The clinical data of 128 children with syncope were retrospectively analyzed. Results According to the definition of syncope and supporting test results, 20 cases of non-syncopal conditions were excluded. In 108 cases of syncope, there were 70 cases (64.81%) of neurally mediated syncope, 8 cases (7.41%) of cardiogenic syncope, and 24 cases (22.22%) of unexplained syncope. Eighty-five cases (78.71%) had incentives before the onsets. Twenty-one cases (19.44%) had the family histories of syncope. One case (0.93%) had the family history of sudden death. The neurally mediated syncope and cardiogenic syncope had the feature of recurrent attacks. The VVS were preceded by limbs weakness, pale complexion, darkness in front of eyes, hearing loss, nausea and chest pain, the POTS by palpitation, chest pain and weakness, the OH by darkness in front of eyes, pale complexion and hearing loss, and the car-diogenic syncope by precordial discomfort, pain and chest pain. Conclusions The VVS is one of the most common cause of syn-cope in children. The onsets of the various types of syncope often have incentives and are preceded by some symptoms. Most of them have the feature of recurrent attacks.

AIM: To investigate the bio-effects of salusins on rat heart and cardiomyocytes. METHODS: The cardiac function was determined by multipurpose polygraph in isolated rat heart treated with various concentrations of salusin-? or salusin-?. [ 45Ca 2+] and [3H]-Leu incorporation were determined in cultured neonatal rat cardiomyocytes with ?-liquid scintillation counter. RESULTS: 10 -12-10 -7mol/L salusin-? and salusin-? had no effects on isolated rat cardiac function. However, salusin-? and salusin-? stimulated [ 45Ca 2+] uptake and [3H]-Leu incorporation. The [ 45Ca 2+] uptake induced by salusins were inhibited by nicardipine, and were synergistically increased by endothelin-1. The [3H]-Leu incorporation induced by salusin-? and salusin-? was inhibited by nicardipine, FK506 (a special inhibitor of carcineulin), PD 98059 (inhibitor of MAPK) and chelerthine (inhibitor of PKC). The effects of salusin-? on [ 45Ca 2+] uptake was stronger than those of salusin-?. But there were no statistical difference in [3H]-Leu incorporation between salusin-? and salusin-?. CONCLUSIONS: Salusin-? and salusin-? did not affect directly cardiac function in rat hearts. But salusins improved calcium uptake and protein synthesize in neonatal rat cardiomyocytes. Those effects of salusins were related with calcium channel, carcinuelin, MAPK and PKC signal pathways. Salusins may be the regulatory factors for myocardium growth and hypertrophy.

AIM: G protein-coupled inwardly rectifier potassium (GIRK) channel are distributed widely in mammalian brain. In CNS, GIRK 1/2 seems to be the predominant heterotetramers which play a pivot role in the regulation of the excitability of neurons and may contribute to the resting potential by leading to a hyperpolarization of membrane potential and reduction of the action potential frequency. In the context, the Weaver mouse is the first neurological abnormality directly linked to a genetic point mutation in the GIRK2 protein which includes spontaneous seizure. GIRK2 knock out mice showed normal development but more susceptible than normal mice to seizure induced by GABA antagonist. Here, we report that the mRNA and protein expression of GIRK subunit 2 is altered in kainic acid(KA)-induced epileptic rat hippocampus. METHODS: Rats were injected with kainate 14 mg/kg intraperitoneally to establish an acute and chronic temporal lobe epilepsy model. At chronic spontaneous seizure stage, by using of in situ hybridization, immunocytochemistry and Western blotting, the GIRK 1,2 mRNA and protein were analyzed quantitatively in the dentate gyreus, CA1, CA3 regions of hippocampus. RESULTS: GIRK1,2 mRNA and proteins were expressed abundantly in all regions of hippocampus. KA induced seizures and caused a significant increase in GIRK2 mRNA abundance and immunoreacitivity; only GIRK1 mRNA was increased significantly, but no difference was found by Western blotting protocol. CONCLUSION: GIRK1,2 mRNA and protein expression in the hippocampus of epileptic rat brain is up-regulated, which may be an adaptive response to over-excitability of neuron networks and prevent the over-excitability spread in hippocampus (DG-CA3-CA1). Objective To investigate the prevalence of hyperuricemia and its associated factors including dietary and Metabolic Syndrome in populations of Dongcheng district in Beijing.Methods A cross-section study of hyperuricemia was carried out in volunteers who had diabetes screening from 2003 to 2004.The prevalence of hyperuricemia was calculated in the population.Applying the form of food frequency to know the intake of nutrition-rich dietary.Results The prevalence of hyperuricemia in this population was 4.3%.In male and female were 10.7% and 1.07% respectively.Bivariate and rank analysis found that hypertriglyceride were associated with increased prevalence of hyperuricemia(P
