46 cases of recurrent oral ulcer were treated by acupuncture,after treatment CD +3 ,CD +4 ,and CD +4 /CD +8 ratio of T lymphocytes in peripheral blood of the patients were increased(P ＜0.05),CD +8 lymphocyte decreased(P ＜0.05).Acupuncture may improve cellular immune function of the patients with recurrent oral ulcer.

Objective To investigate the distribution of syndromes in hospitalized hypertensive patients with maintenance hemodialysis. Methods A investigation-table of Chinese medicine was established and used in 105 eases for survey in clinic to discover the regularity. Results The occurrence rate from high to low of asthenia syndrome symptoms was: deficiency syndrome of both yin and yang, yin asthenia, deficiency of both vital energy and yin, yang asthenia, and the deficiency of qi. The occurrence rate from high to low of evil domination was: turbid damp, stagnation of qi, blood stasis, and fluid stagnation. Conclusions The clinical feature of hypertensive patients with maintenance hemodialysis was mainly asthenia of healthy energy combining with sthenia evil.

Objective To study the inclusion effect of isoandrographolide-?-cyclodextrin by method of UV,IR,and 1H-NMR.Methods The inclusion compound of isoandrographolide-?-cyclodextrin was prepared by saturated solution method assist microwave,equilibrium constants of inclusion complexes and molar ratio of isoandrogapholide-?-cyclodextrin were determined by the UV.The inclusion compound and their molar ratio were confirmed by IR and 1H-NMR.Results The isoandrographolide and ?-cyclodextrin formed inclusion compound.The equilibrium constants of inclusion complexes were 140.845 L/mol and the molar ratio was 1∶1.Conclusion The isoandrographolide could be inclused by ?-cyclodextrin and the inclusion effect is better.

Objective To construct mIL-12 recombinant retrovirus vector and evaluate the effect of mIL-12 expression on glioma in rats.Methods mIL-12 DNA was cloned into vector pLEGFP using standard procedures to develop recombinant plasmid pLEGFP-mIL 12,then it was transferred into PA317 cells.Results Products of enzyme digestion and PCR of recombinant plasmid pLEGFP-mIL12 were analysed using electrophoresis and a(2 290 bp) fragment of DNA as same as mIL-12 gene in size was found,transfected NIH3T3 expressed GFP-mIL12 fusion protein.Conclusion Transfected PA317 cells can produce retrovirus which can infect NIH3T3 cells,and the expression of mIL-12 gene can be detected in NIH3T3 cells.

Objective To detect osteopontin (OPN) expression level of cervical cancer patients before and after chemotherapy , and explore the clinical value in the evaluation of chemotherapy efficacy .Methods 90 cases of cervical squamous cell carcinoma were treated with TP regimen ,immunohistochemical method was used to detect OPN expression before and after chemotherapy ,and studied the significance of OPN evaluation on curative effect in cancer chemotherapy .Results Before chemotherapy the positive ex-pression rate of OPN of tissue was 85 .56% ,and that after chemotherapy was 62 .22% ,the positive rate of OPN expression has sig-nificant difference before and after chemotherapy conclusion(χ2 =14 .118 ,P<0 .05) .The positive expression rate of OPN of effec-tive chemotherapy group before chemotherapy was 78 .69% ,and that after chemotherapy was 47 .54% ,there were significant differ-ences(χ2 =20 .840 ,P<0 .05) .Before chemotherapy ,the positive expression rate of OPN in ineffective chemotherapy was 100% ,af-ter chemotherapy ,it was 96 .56% ,there were no significant difference(χ2 =3 .046 ,P>0 .05) .Patients with OPN negative expres-sion rate of CR was 100% (13/13) ,OPN patients with positive expression rate of CR was 45 .46% (35/77) ,compared two groups with statistical difference (P<0 .05) .Conclusion The expression of OPN in cervical cancer tissue in the tumor is related with chemotherapy sensitivity and effect of chemotherapy .

Objective To observe the effect ofJianpi-Huoxue decoction on the adrenocorticotropic hormone levels and vascular endothelial growth factor of patients with chronic nephritis.Methods 120 patients with chronic nephritis from January 2012 to December 2013 in TCM Hospital of Yanggu county were selected and recruited into a control group and a treatment group, with 40 patients in each group, according to random number table method. The control group was given oral indomethacin, 1 tablets each time, 3 times/d; intramuscular injection of methotrexate, 1 piece/time, 1 times/week. The treatment group was additionally treated by Jianpi-Huoxue decoction on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 3 months. The serum adrenocorticotropic hormone and vascular endothelial growth factor levels were measured before and after the treatment,and efficacy and safety were also evaluated.Results After the treatment, the total effective rate was 72.5% (29/40) in the control group and 97.5% (39/40) in the treatment group, with significant differences (χ2=7.941,P<0.05). The ACTH levels after treatment was (13.82 ± 5.94 ng/Lvs. 8.01 ± 4.16 ng/L) in the treatment group and (18.73 ± 6.84 ng/Lvs. 8.07 ± 4.08 ng/L) in the control group, showing significant increase compared with before treatment (P<0.01). The level of VEGF was (61.92 ± 26.37 ng/Lvs. 83.72 ± 30.63 ng/L) in the treatment group and (49.36 ± 23.93 ng/Lvs.84.34 ± 33.49 ng/L) in the control group, showing significant decrease than before treatment (P<0.01). After the treatment, the increase of ACTH and the decrease of VEGF in the treatment group were better than those in the control group (t=3.427, 2.231,P<0.05).ConclusionsJianpi-Huoxue decoction combined with conventional western therapy can increase the level of ACTH in patients with nephritis, reduce VEGF, and improve clinical curative effects.

Objective To investigate the protective effects of low-frequency pulsed electromagnetic field (LFPMF) on neuron following cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats.Methods 24 adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into irradiation group (n=12) and control group (n=12). The global cerebral ischemia-reperfusion models of rats were produced by modified Pulsineli method. Rats in irradiation group were exposed to 20 mT intensity LFPMF of 10 Hz for 45 minutes per day for 4 days. The electroencephalogram (EEG) was recorded by powerlab system. Objective:To identify potential risk factors of suicide among schizophrenic inpatients,in order to provide basis of how to prevent suicide in psychiatric inpatients.Method:A retrospective analysis among inpatients with mental disorders in Guangzhou psychiatric hospital from 1956 to 2005,the first psychiatric hospital,in China.Using a case-control design,sixty four schizophrenic inpatients(suicide group) who committed suicide in psychiatric hospital and the same number of randomly selected control subjects(control group) who had no incident of suicide were selected and their psychiatric records were compared.Results:The rate of suicide was 133.1(95% CI 103.4-62.9) per 100 000 admissions.Sixty four cases(83.1%) were diagnosed as schizophrenia,fifty nine(76.6%) were hung by themselves,and fifty two(67.5%) happened in wards.The numbers of hospitalization and the suicide attempts before and duration of hospitalization were significantly higher in suicide group than that in control group(P=0.001,0.017,0.003),and guilty thoughts,depressive mood were significantly higher in suicide group than that in control group(P=0.006,0.004).Both suicidal ideation and suicide attempts one month before and during hospitalization were significantly higher in suicide group than that in control group(P

ObjectiveTo study the correlations among age,sex,eye and mERG results.Methods60 normal eyes of 46 volunteers were divided into 6 groups at different ages.RETIscan 3.12 system of Rodenstock was used to carry out mERG examination.ResultsVariation of mERG parameters among normal eyes was significant.Age,sex and eyes have little influence on mERG results,except latency A was longer in male than in female.The size of pupil and fixation were found to influence the results directly.ConclusionsCare should be exercised in explaining the results.Disease history and other examinations shoud be taken into consideration.Attention should be given to the changes in wave-form and vision mountain in addition to amplitudes and latencies.

Objective To investigate the feasibility, safety and effect of gasless laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of benign ovarian tumors during pregnancy. Methods Clinical data of 45 pregnant women with benign ovary tumors undergoing gasless laparoscopic surgery from January 2006 to June 2013 were studied retrospectively.Most of the cases were given oophorocystectomy. Adnexectomy was performed for the large sized lesions, lacking of or remaining few normal ovarian tissue, or ovarian cyst torsion. Results All the 45 cases were successfully treated by gasless laparoscopic surgery.No perioperative and postoperative complications were observed.There were 42 cases receiving ovarian tumor resection while 3 cases receiving simple salpingo-oophorectomy.The mean operation time was (40.7 ±14.9) min (25-90 min), the mean blood loss was (27.3 ±16.6) ml (10 -80 ml), and the mean hospitalization time was (4.5 ±1.3) days (3-8 days).At pre-, peri-, and post-operative time, the blood pH value, blood pressure carbon dioxide (PaCO2), and blood oxygen partial pressure (PaO2) showed no statistical difference (F=0.00,P=0.999;F=2.21, P=0.114;F=0.60,P=0.555), and blood bicarbonate (HCO3-) and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) showed statistical difference but no clinical significance (F=14.96,P=0.000;F=9.45,P=0.999), all of which were in the normal range.The fetal heart rates were all in the normal range.Pathological diagnoses were ovarian mature cystic teratoma in 25 cases (55.6%), serous cystadenoma in 6 cases (13.3%), mucinous cystadenoma in 4 cases (8.9%), mesosalpinx cyst in 3 cases (6.7%), endometrial cyst in 2 cases (4.4%), and luteal cyst in 5 cases (11.1%).No spontaneous abortion was found in post-operational follow-up.Term delivery was obtained in 43 cases, with normal fetal weight and the Apgar scores.Two cases gave up the pregnancy in the postoperative period. Conclusion Gasless laparoscopic surgery for benign ovarian tumors during pregnancy is safe and feasible.
