Circulating tumor cell ( CTC ) testing is characterized by its invasiveness, sampling convenience and facility for real-time monitoring.The booming detection technologies based on physical or immunological features, as well as the subsequent molecular analysis of CTCs including subtype classification, single cell sequencing and in vitro culture, has greatly enriched our comprehension of CTCs and cancer heterogeneity.Meanwhile, a great of researches have demonstrated the significance of CTCs testing in the clinical practice of cancers involving aspects of early diagnosis, treatment monitoring and prognosis.

Objective To analyze the implementation of national continuing medical education (CME) programme in Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention during 2007-2012,in order to improve quality of CME.Methods According to the data from national CME system,Excel 2007 was used to analyze the authorized and executed programme data to calculate implementation rate; to calculate constituent ratio of different project hosting days; analyzing the tide of a technical post data to calculate constituent ratio of different professional ride; analyzing different types of lecture to calculate percentage of theory class hours and experiment class hours; calculating constituent ratio of different professional title about students,using SPSS 13.0 to conduct x2 test for constituent ratio of different professional tide about students in different years.Excel 2007 was used to analyze training effect data,calculating constituent ratio of degree of effect satisfaction.Results 361 projects were approved,52 projects of which were conducted during 2007-2012 with the execution rate of 69.81％.Most hosting days were 3-6 d.Teachers who have senior professional tides gain 80.25％(1 170/1 458).The majority (70.85％,20 642/29 136) of students have junior and intermediate technical tides; Students in different years Tide Distribution is not exacdy the same,junior and intermediate technical tides gain the most proportion(X2=2 215.79,P=0.000).Students are satisfied with the progressiveness of training content.Conclusions Implementation of projects are overall good.In the future,it is needed to expand the scale,and enhance surveillance and evaluation to improve project quality according to the characteristic of project.

Objective To compare the efficacy of oral rehydration salts(ORS),health education and autonomic nervous activity training with health education and autonomic nervous activity training on children with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS).Methods Fifty-two children with POTS based on head-up test or head-up tilt test were divided into ORS treatment group and conventional treatment group.ORS treatment group included 33 children,and they received ORS and health education and autonomic nervous activity training therapy.Conventional treatment group included 19 children who received health education and autonomic nervous activity training therapy only.Telephone follow-ups were made after the therapy for 1-3 months.The contents of follow-up were the compliance of ORS treatment,the implementation of health education and POTS related symptom frequency.Results 1.The compliance of doctor's advice in ORS treatment group was better than that in the conventional treatment group.2.There was no significant difference in the symptom scores before therapy between ORS treatment group and conventional treatment group [(6 ± 3) scores in ORS treatment group vs (5 ± 3) scores in conventional treatment group,t =0.799,P ＞ 0.05].After 1 to 3 months therapy,the symptom scores were significantly lowered in both groups.The symptom scores in ORS treatment group was lower than those of the conventional treatment group[(2 ± 1) scores in ORS treatment group vs(3 ± 1)scores in conventional treatment,t =-2.189,P ＜ 0.05].3.If the therapy was determined to be effective when the symptom scores decreased by at least 2 scores,the effective rate in ORS treatment group was significantly higher than that of the conventional treatment group(78.8％ in ORS treatment group vs 42.1％ in conventional treatment group,x2 =7.169,P ＜ 0.01).Conclusions The efficacy of ORS,health education and autonomic nervous activity training therapy is better than that of the health education and autonomic nervous activity training therapy only in POTS children.

Objective To study the influence of dihydromyricetin on the oxidation and non-enzymatic glycosylation in impaired glucose tolerance rats.Methods Animal model of impaired glucose tolerance rat was built by intragastrical(i.g.) injection of D-galactose generally.After 8 weeks intragastrical(i.g.) injection of dihydromyricetin(experimental group) and metformin (positive control),the levels of fasting blood glucose and tow-hour postprandial blood glucose,the insulin level and its resistance index,the levels of glycosylated hemoglobin (GHb) and advanced glycation end-products(AGEs) were detected,and the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px),the content of malondiadehyde(MDA) were determined respectively.Results Compared with model group,dihydromyricetin decreased the level of two-hour postprandial blood glucose (P0.05).Conclusion Dihydromyricetin can significantly improve the state of impaired glucose tolerance rats; the mechanism may be related to its effect of improving the antioxidant activity of GSH-Px,inhibiting non-enzymatic glycation,lowering body oxidative stress and insulin resistance and promoting the use of blood glucose in peripheral organizations.

Objective MRI Appearences were analyzed after undergoing the examination of fluid attenuated inversion pulse sequences(FLAIR),in order to evaluate the value of the clinical application of FLAIR in low field.Methods 32 cases were analysed comparatively after undergoing the examination of FLAIR sequence and conventional SE sequence.Results The lesions around the ventrical and the surface of cerebral cortex can be showed clearly in FLAIR sequence in low field.Lesions in ventricles and cistens were shown more distinctly in FLAIR sequence than those in conventional SE sequence.With the aid of enhancement scan by conventional SE sequence,the range and the internal structures of the lesions can be manifested clearlier than those in conventional SE sequence.Conclusion In low field the examination of FLAIR sequence is of great value of clinic diagnosis.

AIM: To examine the inhibition of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) activity by doxycycline (Doxy) and its effect on vascular smooth muscle cells (SMCs) proliferation, neointimal hyperplasia and vascular remodeling. METHODS: The model of rat common carotid artery injury was established by balloon-dilatation. Doxy was administered to the animals of treatment group at dose of 30 mg?kg -1?d -1. The activity of MMPs in the tissue of injured carotid arteries was measured by gelatin zymography. The thickness and area of neointimal, lumen area and the proliferation of SMCs were measured by histological and morphometric analysis. RESULTS: 1. Objective:To compare bone marrow-sparing intensity-modulated radiotherapy(BMS-IMRT)with conventional (four-field box[3DCRT]and anteroposterior-posteroanterior[CRT])techniques in the treatment of cervical cancer.Methods:For a cohort of 10 patients,BMS-IMRT,3DCRT and CRT planning were designed.The prescribed dose was 45Gy/1.8Gy/25f,95%of the planning target volume received this dose.Doses were computed with a commercially available TPS.Plans were compared according to dose-volume histogram (DVH)analysis in terms of PTV homogeneity and conformity indices(HI and CI)as well as OARs dose and volume parameters.Results:BMS-IMRT had an advantages over 3DCRT and CRT in terms of CI,but inferior to the latter two for HI.BMS-IMRT was superior to 3DCRT in reducing the dose to PBM,small bowel,bladder and rectum.Compared with CRT,BMS-IMRT reduced the volume irradiated to the doses from 30Gy to 40Gy,but increased the volume irradiated to the low doses from 5Gy to 20Gy.In addition,BMS-IMRT reduced the volume of small bowel,bladder,rectum at nearly all dose levels.Conclusion:BMS-IMRT reduced irradiation of PBM compared with 3DCRT technique.Compared with CRT technique,BMS-IMRT reduced the volume of PBM irradiated to high doses.Therefore,for patients with cervical cancer after hysterectomy,BMS-IMRT might reduce acute hematologic toxicity(HT)compared with conventional techniques.
