Childhood obesity is a huge problem threatening children's health,which has reached epidemic proportions around the world and is associated with several metabolic and cardiovascular complications.Tolllike receptor 4 is a transmembrane receptor of the innate immune system.Studies have showed that metaflammation reaction mediated by inflammatory signaling pathways of Toll-like receptor 4 is closely related to childhood obesity.In this paper,studies on childhood obesity and TLR4 are reviewed.

AIM: To establish the fingerprint chromatography of Shengmai Injection(Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng Rubra,Radix Ophiopogonis,Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis) METHODS: A Waters symmetryshield TMRP 18 column(4.6 mm?250 mm;5 ?m) was adopted,acetonitrille-water as a mobile phase;The detection wavelength was set at 203 nm. RESULTS: According to the selected chromatographic conditions,standard fingerprint chromatography which was obtained consisted of 20 communal peaks. CONCLUSION: The method is simple,accurate with good reproducibility,and can be applied to the quality control of Shengmai Injection.

Chinese traditional medical ethics is the behavioral regulations of medical staff accumulated by ancient Chinese medical scientist in the long-term medical assistance of exploration and practice.This paper analyzes the ethical virtue of traditional Chinese medical ethics,providing modern medical staff with the essence of traditional medical ethics and revelation for modern medical ethics education,in order to reflect the value pursuit for the long-expansion of Chinese spiritual world.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture plus Huayu Paishi Decoction (stagnation- eliminating and stone-removing decoction) in treating nephrolithiasis of qi and blood stagnation type.Methods Sixty patients with nephrolithiasis of qi and blood stagnation type were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups, 30 cases each. The treatment group received acupuncture plus oral administration of Huayu Paishi Decoction and the control group, oral administration of Huayu Paishi Decoction alone. The symptoms and signs were scored and renal hydrops was measured in the two groups before and after treatment. The clinical therapeutic effects were compared between the two groups. Results The total efficacy rate was 76.7% in the treatment group and 56.7% in the control group; there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). There were statistically significant pre-/post-treatment differences in the symptom and sign scores in the two groups (P<0.05). There were statistically significant differences in pre-/post-treatment symptom and sign score difference values between the treatment and control groups (P<0.05). There was a statistically significant pre-/post-treatment difference in renal hydrops volume in the treatment group (P<0.05). There was a statistically significant difference in pre-/post-treatment renal hydrops volume difference value between the treatment and control groups (P<0.05).Conclusions Acupuncture plus Huayu Paishi Decoction is an effective way to treat nephrolithiasisi of qi and blood stagnation type. It can markedly improve the clinical symptoms and reduce renal hydrops in the patients.

Hypertension is the most important risk factor for ischemic stroke and other cardiocerebrovascular diseases.However,the mean blood pressure can not completely explain the target organ damage caused by hypertension and the benefits of antihypertensive treatment.A series of studies have demonstrated that blood pressure variability (BPV) is the risk factor for ischemic stroke independent of the mean blood pressure,and there was also a significant correlation between BPV and ischemic stroke.In recent years,the research of BPV has gradually become a hot spot in the field of prevention and treatment of ischemic stroke.However,the specific relevance between BPV and ischemic stroke is not entirely clear.This article briefly reviews the relationship between BPV and ischemic stroke.

Intra-arterial chemotherapy (IAC) is an interventional treatment for retinoblastoma (RB) which infuses the chemotherapeutic agents through ophthalmic artery using microcatheters to control the tumor.Compared with systemic chemotherapy,IAC could significantly increase the globe salvage of advanced and recurrent RB without serious adverse event.Due to the absence of systemic absorption after IAC,no longer effectively kill tumor cell,which have potential danger to leads to inadequate elimination extraocular tumor cells.The most common systemic complications following IAC is myelosuppression;local ocular toxicities include eyelid edema,delacrimation,blepharoptosis,vitreous hemorrhage,retinal artery obstruction.During the last 10 years of clinical application,IAC become one of first-line treatment for intraocular RB.However,at present,there is still a lack of randomized controlled multicenter studies and long-term follow up of IAC.

Myocardial preservation plays a critical role in heart transplantation.Recently,heart transplantation has been practiced wildly all over the world.The aim of this review is to summarize the progress in the researches on the clinical appication and experiments of myocardial preservation sotution.

AIM: To establish a method of simultaneous determining 4 components in Shengmai Injection (Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng Rubra,Radix Ophiopogonis,Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis). METHODS: Four components:ginsenoside Rg_1、ginsenoside Re、ginsenoside Rb_1 and schisandrin in Shengmai Injection were determined simultaneously by HPLC, using a waters symmetryshield TMRP_(18) column(4.6 mm?250 mm; 5.0 ?m),acetonitrile-water as a mobile phase. The detection wavelength was at 203nm. RESULTS: The relationship between the concentrations and the peak areas of ginsenoside Rg_1、ginsenoside Re、ginsenoside Rb_1 and schisandrin was linear respectively.The RSD of precision,repeatability and recovery were all less than 1%. CONCLUSION: The method is simultaneous determination for four components in Shengmai Injection,and can be applied to the quality control of Shengmai Injection.
