The function of cellular membrane receptor has been paid more attention in many dieases.Integrin is one of them.The major function of integrin is maintaining the proper structure of tissues by organization of cell-cell and cell-extracelluar matrix tethering.The initiation and prolongation of many diseases are promoted by these receptors.Disintegrin is one important component of the snake venom.It inhibit the adhesive attraction of integrin particularly.This review summarizes the types and the biological activities of snake venom disintegrins,as well as discusses there potential clinical application of the study,such as anti-tumor,anticoagulation,and various human diseases.
2.Advance in study of monitoring acute rejection of pancreas allograft transplant

The syndrome of insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus(IDDM)includes not only abnor-mal glucose metabolism but also specific microvascular complications that include nephropathy,retinopathy and neuropathy.In the short term,improvement in the quality of life and possible prevention of further morbidity associated with diabetes makes pancreas trans-plantation an important therapeutic option,particularly when combined with a kidney trans-plant,in appropriately selected diabetic patients.The focus of the early management of the pancreas transplant recipient is the prevention of acute rejection.In this article we review the methods for clinical diagnosis of the early acute rejection due to pancreas transplanta-tion.
3.Separation and purification of the anti-clotting protein component from venom of Agkistrodon and its acute toxicity testing

AIM:To separate and purify a new anti-clotting protein component(ACPF-7221)from the venom of Agkistrodon. The acute toxicity experiment of ACPF-7221 and the death rate were studied and the LD50 and 95% confidence interval were determined in mice. METHODS: The venom of Agkistrodon was separated and purified using ion-exchange chromatography of DEAE-Sepharose Fast Flow, molecular sieve filtration through Sephadex G75, SP-Sepharose Fast Flow and molecular sieve filtration through Sephadex G50, the anticoagulation components were recalled using activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) activity assay. ACPF-7221 was given to mice by intravenous injection,and the dosage was determined according to the body weight of mice. The LD50 and 95% confidence were calculated by the death outcome. RESULTS: ACPF-7221 was separated and purified,which was a trimer consisted of three kinds of protein and their relative molecular mass were 25000, 30000 and 50000,and the protein level was 65%. The LD50 of ACPF-7221 was 7.848 mg/kg, and its 95% confident interval was 7.353-8.375 mg/kg. CONCLUSION: A new anti-clotting protein component ACPF-7221 was extracted from the venom of Agkistrodon by ion-exchange chromatography,which is a trimer consisted of three kinds of protein. The critical orga of acute toxicity is lung, empsyxis asphyxia deduces death.
4.Neoadjuvant chemotherapy for locally advanced cancer

Neoadjuvant chemotherapy is one of the common means in multidisciplinary treatment of locally advanced breast cancer,with anthracyclines and taxanes as main chemotherapeutic drugs.In recent years,molecular target agents have significantly improved the efficacy of chemotherapy,as well as have provided more choices and ideas for clinical treatment.Currently,the widely studied molecular targeted drugs include trastuzumab,lapatinib,pertuzumab,T-DM1 and bevacizumab.
5.Current researches on the antimetastatic effect of snake venom

Snake venoms are complex mixtures containing many different biologically active applications in the field of cancer research. In this paper, not only unpurified fraction, but also highly purified snake venoms are discussed,such as rhodostomin, acutobin, agkistrodon halys antithrombotic enzyme, batroxobin. The review mainly introduced the inhibitory effects of snake venoms on tumer metastasis.
6.Influence of region of interest size on performance of shear wave elastography in breast masses

Objective To explore the influence of ROI size on the diagnostic performance of shear wave elstography (SWE) of breast masses.Methods A total of 225 consecutive patients with 239 solid breast masses underwent SWE before surgery,and then quantitative SWE parameters,including the maximum stiffness (Emax),mean stiffness (Emean),ratio of stiffness of the mass to stiffness of surrounding fat (Eratio) and standard deviation (SD),were measured by two methods,one method was using larger ROI to include the largest part of a mass,and the other was placing fixed ROI=2 mm over the stiffest part of the lesion to measure.The diagnostic performance of the two methods were evaluated by ROC curve,and the cut-off value,sensitivity and specificity of each SWE parameter were obtained.Results There were no statistically significant differences between the performance of Emax,Emean and SD from the two different methods (all P> 0.05),the performance of Eratio of the two methods showed significant difference (P=0.046).The significantly higher specificity of Emax and Emean in the larger ROI were found,and the significantly higher sensitivity of SD and Eratio in the ROI=2 mm was found.Furthermore,the diagnostic performance of combination of SWE and BI-RADS were not greatly affected by the ROI size,the difference had no statistical significance (all P>0.05).Conclusion The ROI size only affects the diagnostic performance of Eratio,and donot affect the diagnostic performance of the quantitative SWE parameters (Emax,Emean,SD) and combination of SWE and BI-RADS.

Methods A questionnaire interview included daily life and activities social activities and psychologic status were conducted of. Results 48 patients, 14 patients(29%) were impacted on quatity of life in heavy, 23 patiemts(48%) in middle, 11 patients(23%) in mildly no impact in zero. Conclusion The psoriasis valgaris influenced the Quality of life.
9.Effects of midazolam on hypoxic-ischemic brain injury in neonatal piglets

Objective To investigate the effects of midazolam on hypoxic-ischemic (HI) brain injury in neonatal piglets.Methods Twenty-four newborn male piglets 3-7 days old weighing 1.8-3,0 kg were randomly divided into 3 groups ( n = 8 each): sham group (group S), HI + normal saline group (group HI-S) and HI + midasolam group (group HI-M). The animals of group HI-S and HI-M were subjected to 7 min of hypoxia, producing asphyxic cardiac arrest, followed by cardiopulmonary resuscitation. At 3 h after restoration of spontaneous circulation (ROSC), animals received i.v. infusion of fentanyl at a rate of 10-30 μg·kg-1·h-1 and pancuroniumat a rate of 0.1-0.2 mg·kg-1·h-1 from 3 h after ROSC to 24 h after ROSC to maintain the anesthesia. In addition, midazolam at a rate of 0.05 mg·kg-1·h-1 wee infused simultaneously until 24 h after ROSC in HI-M group, while the equal volume of normal saline was infused instead in group HI-S and S. Arterial blood samples were taken before hypoxia (baseline), and at 37 min of hypoxia, 5 min of air inspiration, 5 min of asphyxia and 6, 12, and 24 h after ROSC for blood gas analysis, and MAP was monitored at the each time point. Neurological behavior was assessed and scored (NBS) at 48, 72, 96 and 240 h after ROSC. Brains were removed at 10 h after ROSC, the remaining viable neurons in putamen and candate nucleus were counted and the density of viable neurons was determined using light microscopic examination. Results PaO2 was significantly decreased during hypoxia-eephyxia, and PaCO2 was significantly increased, while pH value and MAP were significantly decreased at 5 min of asphyxia in group HI-S and HI-M compared with group S and the baseline (P < 0.05).There were no significant differences in MAP and arterial blood gas analysis at the each time point between group HI-S and HI-M ( P > 0.05). The density of viable neurons in putamen and caudate nucleus was significantly lower, and NBS at 48-96 h after BOSC significantly higher in group HI-S and HI-M than in group S ( P < 0.05). The density of viable neurons in putamen and caudate nucleus was significantly higher and NBS at 72 and 96 h after ROSC significantly lower in group HI-M than in group HI-S ( P < 0.05). Conclusion Midazolam used at the early stage of cardiopulmonary resuscitation can attenuate HI brain injury in neonatal piglets.
10.Influence of EA at different therapeutic time windows on the expression of HSP70 and nervous cell apoptosis after focal cerebral ischemic reperfusion injury in rats

Objective To observe the influence of electroacupuncure(EA) at different therapeutic time windows on the effects of inosine on neuronal apoptosis and expression of heat-shock-proteins-70 (HSP70)after focal cerebral ischemic reperfusion injury (CIRI) in rats.Methods The model was established by ligation of the artery for 2 hour.EA was delivered to “baihui” and “dazhui” through acupuncture needles 0.5 hr,2 hr,6 hr and 12 hr respectively following MCAO.The expression level of HSP70 and the number of apoptotic cells were examined by immunohistochemical technique and TUNEL,comparing the average optical density of HSP70 and the number of apoptotic positive cells of cortex penumbra and hippocampus CA1 area in rat brain.Results Compared with the model group,the average optical density of HSP70 in every EA group was increased in apoptotic positive cells of cortex penumbra and hippocampus CA1 area 0.5 h (89.98± 6.55),(128.73 ± 8.03),2 h (90.96±6.38),(132.25±8.78),6 h (93.71±6.12),(132.58±7.04),12 (96.19±7.30),(133.57±6.19)and the number of apoptotic positive cells of cortex penumbra in every EA group was decreased 0.5 h (1.80±0.84),2 h (3.40± 1.14),6 h (5.00± 1.00),12 h (5.00±2.45).The number of apoptotic cells of hippocampus CA1 area was decreased just in the EA group of 0.5 h (1.60± 1.89).Conclusion EA could increase the expression level of HSP70 and at the same time decrease the number of apoptotic cells,EA plays an important part in protecting the neuronal cells of brain after focal cerebral ischemic reperfusion injury.The acupuncture treatment should be taken as far as early.
