Objective To investigate the effects of antioxidant on the gene expression of ?1-adrenergic receptors (AR) during endotoxic shock. Methods Forty male SD rats weighing 200-250 g were anesthetized with intraperitoneal (i.p.) pentobarbital. The animals kept spontaneous breathing. Femoral artery and vein were cannulated for BP monitoring and drug administration. The animals were randomly divided into 5 groups ( n = 8 each) : (1) control group; (2) LPS group received IPS 15 mg?kg-1 i.v. ; (3) LPS + propofol group received at 1h after LPS a bolus of propofol 10mg?kg-1 i.v. followed by continuous infusion of propofol at 10 mg?kg-1?h-1; (4) LPS + uric acid (UA) group received uric acid 200 mg i.p. 1 h after LPS and (5) LPS + melatonin (MLT) group received MLT 10 mg?kg-1 i.p. 1h after LPS. The animals were killed at 6 h after LPS. Total RNA was extracted from the heart, aorta, vein, lung, liver and kidney. ?1A-,?1B-,?1D- AR mRNA and ?-actin mRNA were measured using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) .Results The expression of ?1A-AR and ?1B-AR mRNA in all the organs and the ?1D-AR mRNA expression in aorta, liver, lung and kidney were strongly down-regulated in LPS group. In group 3 (LPS + propofol) the expression of ?1A-AR mRNA in the lung and kidney, the ?1B-AR mRNA expression in all of the organs and ?1D-AR mRNA expression in aorta, liver, lung and kidney were significantly increased as compared with LPS group. There was no significant difference in ?1-AR mRNA expression between LPS group and LPS + MLT group. The expression of ?1A-AR mRNA in kidney, the ?1B-AR mRNA expression in all of the organs except the lung and the ?1D-AR mRNA expression in aorta, liver, lung and kidney were significantly higher in LPS + UA group than in LPS group. Conclusion Circulatory failure induced by endotoxic shock is related to the down-regulation of ?1-AR gene expression. The therapeutic effects of antioxidant on the endotoxic shock is partly due to up-regulation of ?1-AR gene expression.

Objective To investigate the correlation between microalbuminuria and cardiovascular events in patients with coronary heart disease.Methods A total of 120 CHD patients were divided into experiment group (30 mg/g< UACR<300 mg/g, n=80)and control group(UACR≤30 mg/g,n=40)The relationship between MAU and cardiovascular events rate was compared after 1 5 months.Results Microalbuminuria level in experiment group was significantly higher than control group(P <0.05).The incidence of cardiovascular event in experiment group was significantly higher(t = 3.71 7,P <0.05 ).MAU and cardiovascular e-vents were positively related by Spearman′s analysis(r=0.721,P <0.01).The effective factors were MAU and CRP(MAU:P =0.001;CRP:P =0.037).Conclusion MAU concentration had a great impact on the incidence of cardiovascular event.The incidence of cardiovascular might be predicted by the MAU.

Objective To investigate the effect of nitrotyrosine (3-NT) on the expression of ?1D adrenoceptor (?1D-AR) mRNA in cultured vascular smooth muscle cells (SMCS) .Methods SMCS were obtained from the tunica media of thoracic aorta of 1 month old SD rats and cultured in DMEM medium. The experiment consisted of two parts. In part Ⅰ SMCS were incubated with 0,1, 10, 100 or 200 ?mol?L-1 3-NT for 24 h and in part Ⅱ SMCS were incubated with 100 ?mol?L-1 3-NT forO,12, 24, 48 or 72 h. The total RNA was isolated by using Trizol reagent. The expression of ?1D-AR mRNA was determined by RT-PCR and agarose gel electrophoresis. Results In part I incubation with 1 and 10 ?mol?L- 3-NT for 24 h had no significant effect on the expression of ?1D-AR mRNA while incubation with 100 or 200 ?mol?L-1 3-NT for 24 h decreased the expression of ?1D-AR mRNA compared with 0?mol?L-1 3-NT (P

Objective To analyze the status quo and influencing factors of patient safety culture among medical staffs in the hospitals of Shenzhen City to provided reference for its improvement and conduct the patient safety culture research by other medical institutions.Methods The Patient Safety Culture Questionnaire of Medical Institutions(PSCHO) was adopted to investigate on 1000 medical persons from February to May 2016.Results The total score of patient safety culture in medical staffs was (3.53±0.40) and,the difference among different categories of medical persons had no statistical significance (P＞ 0.05).The differences among the medical staffs with different working ages,communication frequency with patients,training times,concern frequency had statistical difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion The patient safety culture level in Shenzhen City is higher.However,the sense of blame and shame is one of the important factors impeding the promotion of the patient safety culture in hospitnl.Hospital should conduct the targeted improvement to the related factors affecting the patient safety culture from the aspects of organism,department and individual level.

Objective To analyze the relationship between atrial fibrillation (AF) and plasma mononuclear cells or cardiac func-tion .Methods From April 2010 to Jun 2013 ,298 patients with AF from department of cardiology in our hospital were selected as study group ,300 patients without AF were selected as control group in the same period .Both group and the subgroup were analy-sised by t test .Results Plasma monocyte NT-proBNP ,left atrial diameter in AF group were significantly higher than the control group(P<0 .05) ,LVEF was lower than the control group ,the statistical differences between the two groups (P<0 .05) .Compare HF combine AF with HF only ,the NT-proBNP and left atrial diameter were significantly higher in former and the LVEF is lower than the latter ,both with the difference statistical significantly (P< 0 .05) .Merge heart failure combined with atrial fibrillation (HF+AF) and heart failure combined sinus rhythm (HF+ SR) group ,the former in the NT-proBNP and left atrial diameterwere significantly higher than the latter ,LVEF lower than the latter ,the difference was statistically difference (P<0 .05) .Conclusion In the development of AF ,the monocytes may be involved in the occurrence and development of AF .

Objective To study the clinical features of alveolar soft part sarcoma (ASPS) and assess its prognostic factors.Methods The clinical data of 28 ASPS patients from January 2006 to January 2009 were analyzed retropectively,and were followed up to get their prognosis.The survival analysis and risk factors were analyzed and compared.Results Two cases with soft tissue primary ASPS got recurrence after the first resection,the recurrence rate was 8.0％ (2/25).After re-resection,no postoperative recurrence occurred.Three cases with bone primary ASPS did not have postoperative local tumor recurrence,but 2 cases appeared tumor progression and got pulmonary metastasis.All the patients had poor overall prognosis,11 cases survived without tumor,8 cases survived with tumor,9 cases died.The median survival time was 38.5 months,5-year survival rate was 46.4％ (13/28),5-yeax survival rate of male patients was 50.0％ (5/10),female patients was 44.4％(8/18),5-year survival rate between male and female patients had no statistical significance (P =0.260).The 5-year survival rate of patients without distant metastasis was 81.8％ (9/11),while the rate of patients with distant metastasis (pulmonary,brain or bone metastasis) was only 23.5％(4/17),and the rates had significant difference (P =0.036).Age,gender had no significant relation with the prognosis,while tumor size,location and distant metastasis were the important factors affecting the prognosis.Conclusions ASPS commonly occurs in young persons.The hips and thighs are the most common sites ofsofte tissue primary ASPS.Prognosis has relation with distant metastasis,tumor size and part or thorough resection.The risk of recurrency and metastasis can be decreased through assessing disease condition as soon as possible,developing a reasonable treatment plan and wide resection of the primary tumor.
