1.Stress and nutrition support
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 2004;0(06):-
The catabolic response to severe injury , burn, inflammatory ,acute pancreatitis and operation is characterized by whole-body protein loss, mainly reflecting increased breakdown of muscle proteins. Glucocorticoids and various proinflammatory cytokines are important regulators of muscle proteolysis in stressed patients. In recent years, three types of treatments have been used to reduce or prevent the catabolic response to injury and sepsis: ①nutritional, ②hormonal, and ③pharmacologic. This article review the catabolic response and the corresponding interruption under the stress conditions.

China Pharmacist 2016;19(9):1693-1696
Objective:To summarize the drug repercussion data in outpatient pharmacy and analyze the reasons to provide sugges-tions for the improvement. Methods: The information was collected from the hospital information system ( HIS) during January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2015, including drug name, category, quantity, amount, reasons for drug repercussion and the other statisti-cal data. Results:During the three years, the number of prescription drugs, amount of money and varieties of drug repercussion were increased. The most common reasons for drug repercussion were the other reasons, withdrawn by doctors and the request of patients. The sum of drug repercussion was positively correlated with the drug price and the amount of drug repercussion. Conclusion:The op-tion simplicity for drug repercussion in HIS is the main reason for drug repercussion bythe other reasons. The occurrence of drug re-percussion should be intervened by such methods as gradually improving the HIS, establishing intervention measures, enhancing the professional quality of pharmacists and so on.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(10):-
Root stem of Anemarrhena asPhodeloides was extracted with hot water, treated with ethanol and dilutealkali to temove protein. The polysaccharide thus obtained was given to mice by gastric gavage. Result showedthat the polysaccharide can marked1y lower the blood sugar and liver glycogen of mice without affecting bloodlipid level. When given intraperitoneally, it also showed hypoglycemic activity- For alloxan diabetic mice, thepolysaccharide can also markedly lower its b1ood sugar by gastric gavage.
9.Study on dental pulp stem cells from patients with hypophosphatasia
Journal of Peking University(Health Sciences) 2004;0(01):-
Objective:To find out whether the dentin formation of hypophosphatasia children is affec-ted;to study the biological difference of cultured human dental pulp cells from deciduous teeth between hypophosphatasia and normal healthy children. Methods: Anterior deciduous teeth were collected from hypophosphatasia(experiment group)and normal healthy children(control group)respectively.Grounding sections of the affected and healthy deciduous teeth were made to observe their roots;the den-tal pulp cells were separated and cultured. The characteristics of cell proliferation, differentiation and calcification were studied and compared between the two groups of children.MTT assay was performed to study the growth curves of the cells;RT-PCR was performed to evaluate the expression of tissue nonspecific alkaline phosphatase(TNSALP)at different stages;von Kosssa staining was used to test formed calcification nodules after 3 weeks of induction. Results: From the grounding sections, the root surface of the experiment group was not smooth with absorbed areas, cementum was absent. For proliferation activity and the expression of TNSALP,the dental pulp cells from experiment group was obviously lower than control group.Calcified nodules could be seen in both groups, but the nodules were less and the sizes were smaller in experiment group than in control group. Conclusion: In hypophosphatasia patients, not only the cementum but also the dentin were affected. The proliferation,TNSALP expression and calcification capability of the dental pulp cells were influenced in hypophosphatasia patients, and this may be related to the tooth calcification defect.
