Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2017;36(2):229-235
Objective To investigate the analgesic effect of warm needling and explore its relationship with the function of mast cells in the acupoint area and the specificity of acupoints.Method Sixty SD rats were randomized into blank (C), model (M), warm needling Zusanli (Z), contralateral warm needling (O), manual acupuncture (A), warm needling Futu (F), warm needling Yanglingquan(Y), warm needling Weizhong (W), disodium cromoglycate + warm needling (DSCG+Z) and saline + warm needling (Saline+Z) groups. A rat with adjuvant arthritis was used as a model of inflammatory pain (AA model). Hindpaw withdrawal latency was measured in therats during warm needling at Zusanli (ST36), Yanglingquan (SP9), Futu (ST32) and Weizhong (BL40). Pre-treatment and post-treatment rates of mast cell degranulation in the acupoint area were compared and the effect of acupoint area injection of disodium cromoglycate on the degranulation was observed by acupoint tissue section staining.Result Obvious degranulation of mast cells in the acupoint area appeared after warm needling (P>0.05). The analgesic effect of warm needling was better than that of manualacupuncture (P>0.05). After treatment, pain threshold was significantly higher in the warm needling Zusanli group than in the warm needling Futu, warm needling Yanglingquan and warm needling Weizhong groups (P>0.05). Acupuncture-induced mast cell degranulation could be prevented by disodium cromoglycate (P>0.05).Conclusion Warm needling at point Zusanli can produce an analgesic effect in adjuvant arthritis rats. Its analgesic effect is better than that of manual acupuncture. The rate of mast cell degranulation in the acupoint area is higher in the warm needling Zusanli group than in the manual acupuncture group. The analgesic effect of warm needling is reduced after pretreatment with disodium cromoglycate, a mast cell stabilizer. In an AA model, the analgesic effect of warm needling at point Zusanli is better than those of warm needling at points Yanglingquan, Futu and Weizhong.
2.Assessment of left ventricular rotation in rheumatic mitral stenosis patients by velocity vector imaging
Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 2013;22(7):568-571
Objective To assess the regional left ventricular (LV) rotation motion in the patients with rheumatic mitral stenosis (MS) with velocity vector imaging (VVI).Methods This study included 38 patients with isolated MS (mild, moderate and severe) and 55 healthy control subjects.Short-axis parasternal views at the basal and apical level of LV were taken.Peak value of rotation angle and rotation velocity,as well as time to peak value were measured by VVI workplace offline respectively. Results ①In the healthy control subjects LV rotates clockwisely at the base and counterclockwisely at the apex, the same as the patients with MS.② In th patients with MS,rotaion angle and rotation velocity were significantly reduced at the apical level(P <0.001),rotation velocity were significantly reduced at some segments of basal level (anterior, lateral, septal) (P < 0.05).③Compared with the healthy control, the difference of time to peak roation angle between base and apex was significantly longer in patients with MS (P <0.05).④ There were no significant differences among mild, moderate and severe MS (P >0.05).Conclusions The patients with MS may suffer from systolic dysfunctin even in the early stage identified by the alteration of LV rotation motion, which is independent of the hemodynamic severity of MS.

Journal of China Medical University 2001;30(1):9-11
Objective:Our purpose was to establish an ideal chronic pressure-afterload heart failure rat model which has the transition from cardiac hypertrophy to heart failure. Methods: Chronic pressure-afterload heart failure rat model was induced by gradually constricting the ascending aorta of young rats. Young rats were randomly divided into 2 groups: the constricted and sham-operated groups. Clinical manifestation, tail-cuff blood pressure, organ weight, and hemodynamic data were observed at various time after operation. Results: The overall survival rate was 87%. Tail-cuff pressure began to increase in 4 weeks after operation. Left ventricular hypertrophy appeared in 12 weeks and heart failure in 5 months. Conclusion:It's a practical and reproducible model of cardiac hypertrophy that progresses to chronic heart failure.

Modern Clinical Nursing 2015;(6):17-20
Objective To explore the nursing measures of teenagers with arthroscopic reduction of avulsed fracture of tibialintercondylar eminence. Methods Eighteen teenagers with avulsed fracture of tibialintercondylar eminence hospitalized from January 2013 to September 2014 were included in the study. Before operation, psychological care and operative preparation were delicately done. After operation, a plan for function training was made, the preventive measures for related complications were taken and discharge instruction was performed. Results All patients got recovered after function training 3 months since operation. The average score by Lysholm evaluation was (97.6 ± 2.3). Among them, one was Lachman test I positive, with mildly limited extension of the knee join. Conclusion The following nursing strategies inclucling psychological nursing before operation can help to reduce the incidence of complications.

Acta Anatomica Sinica 1954;0(02):-
Objective Applying a reliable precise method to assess the mitotic index of cardiomyocytes,to disclose of disclosure the mechanism implicated in cardiomyocytes proliferation. Methods H9c2(2-1) cardiomyocytes were originally developed from rat BD1X heart(ATCC).These cells were cultured on coverslips.Double immunofluorescence staining with monoclonal antibodies(1:100) against phospho-histone H3 and ?-sarcomeric actin was performed on the cultured cells.Anti-mouse IgG FITC was used as the secondary antibody for the H3P antibody, and anti-mouse IgM Cy3 was used as the secondary antibody for the ?-sarcomeric actin.DNA was visualized with Hochest 33342.All photographs were taken with an Olympus fluorescence microscope. Results The cytoplasm of cardiomyocytes appeared red,the mitotic chromosomes green with distinct shape, and Hochest 33342-stained nuclei blue. Conclusion Our method is the reliable and exact means to observe and assess cardiomyocytes mitosis.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2016;30(1):76-77
We report a rare case of pleomorphic adenoma arising from the nasal septum. A 37-year-old woman presented with a 1-year-history of right-sided occasional epistaxis. Computed tomographic scans revealed an oval mass in the right nasal cavity. The tumor was removed endoscopically with endonasal approach. The microscopic finding showed numbers of myoepithelial cells and duct-like structures consisting of loose myxoid stroma. This lesion had histological characteristics of a pleomorphic adenoma, and this was confirmed by immunohistochemical expression of cytokeratin, S-100 protein and SMA. Her post-operative course was uneventful, and she is currently free from the disease 1.5 years after surgery.
