1.Dynamic Changes of Platelet Aggregation and Serum Fibrin Derived Products after Smoke Inhalation Injury in Rabbits
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(03):-
The dynamic changes of the maximal platelet aggregation rate (PARm) and serum fibrin derived products (FDP) after smoke inhalation injury in rabbits were observed. The pathological changes of the lung tissues and lung water content were also studied after the animals were killed. It was found that PARm increased in the 6th and 22nd postburn hours(PBH), the platelet count decreased progressively right after injury, and FDP increased in the 6th and 24th PBH. In addition, there were alveolar edema and hemorrhage with deposition of fibrin in the lung parenchyma. In the lumen of some small pulmonary vessels, platelet aggregation with evacuation of their granules was demonstrated, which implies there is release of certain chemical mediators. The lung water content increased apparently. Clinical symptoms such as difficulty in bretahing. rales over the chest, etc developed along with the changes of platelets and FDP.On the basis of the analysis of the results listed above, it is proposed that the changes of platelets and FDP may play an important role in the development of pulmonary damage after smoke inhalation.
2.Effects of Burn Patient's Sera and Fibrinopeptide A and B on Endothelial Cells
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(04):-
Endothelial injury appears very early after traumatic and toxic shock. The mechanism and etiology are-complex.The low-molecular weight fibrinogen degradation-products (LmwFDP)may be one of the important factors.Dynamic changes of fibrinopeptide A and B (FPA, FPB) in sera of burn patients (BPS) are determined with HPLC method. On this basis detrimental effects of BPS and FPA, FPB on endothelial cells are observed in vitro. The main results are as follows: 1) after being incubated with BPS or the sera with complements being inactivated by heatine at 56 degrees C for 30 min, the endothelial cells (EC) all become denatured and necrotized, and the levels of 6-keto-PGF1? and LDH in the media are higher than those measured before incubation. This indicates that the presence of the factors other than complements, in the BPS injurious to the cultured EC; 2) FPA and FPB in 18 BPS become increasing at 2 postburn day (PBD) , reach their peaks at 5-7 PBD, then decline after 15 PBD,and return to the control levels at 25 PBD.The fluctuation of FPA,FPB levels in BPS are parallel to the progress of burn illness. The measureements of FPA, FPB levels in BPS may be useful in evaluating patients condition. 3) FPA and FPB are detrimental to the cultured EC in vitro. Characteristics of their injurious effects are:inreversible, dose dependent, and specific. The FPA and FPB may play an important role in endothelial injury.
4.Comparison between cone beam computed tomography and periapical radiography in the diagnosis of periapical disease.
West China Journal of Stomatology 2015;33(2):209-213
With the development of medical radiography, cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) has been widely used in stomatology because of its numerous advantages, such as adequate spatial resolution, low radiation, undistorted three- dimensional tissue information, and good applicability for hard tissue imaging. Traditional periapical radiography is based on two-dimensional image which displays the three-dimensional object and its surrounding structures. Periapical radiography can only show the overlapping mesio-distally direction bone destruction, can't show buccolingual direction bone destruction. As a kind of three-dimensional imaging technology, CBCT can show three-dimensional structure of the organization from sagittal, coronal and axial direction, to overcome the defect of two-dimensional image such as overlap and deformation. CBCT has a unique advantage than periapical radiography in the diagnosis and treatment for periapical disease. This review will summarize the difference between CBCT and periapical radiography in the periapical disease.

5.Role of 3-nitrotynosine in Escherichia coli LPS-induced vascular hyporeactivity in rats
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(01):-
AIM: To observe the pathological role of 3-nitrotynosine (3-NT) on Escherichia coli LPS-induced vascular hyporeactivity in rats and the therapeutic effect of antioxidants. METHODS: Forty male SD rats weighting from 200 g to 250 g were randomly divided into four groups: the control group (n=10); LPS shock group (n=10); uric acid-treated group (n=10); melatonin-treated group (n=10). 6 h after LPS shock, phenylephrine (0.5-2.5 ?g?kg -1) was applied intravenously to all groups and the percentage increase in MAP was detected, respectively. The concentration-response curve of aorta rings from all groups rats were obtained by cumulative addition of phenylephrine (PE), and PE E_ max, EC_ 50 were calculated. The concentrations of plasma malondialdehyde (MDA), nitrate/nitrite and 3-NT were assayed in all groups 6 h after LPS shock. RESULTS: The MAP level induced by PE significantly decreased to 54.60% in LPS shock rats compared with the control (P
6.The effect of TGF-?_1 on expression of paxillin in human renal proximal tubular epithelial cell line
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1983;0(05):-
Objective To explore the effect of transforming growth factor ?_1 (TGF-?_1) on expression of paxillin(Pax) in human kidney proximal tubular epithelial cell line (HKC cells) in different phases. Methods HKC cells cultured in vitro were divided into four groups at random. Control group(C group): HKC cells were cultured with serum free medium (FSM), and TGF-?_1-treated groups (T1, T2, T3 group): HKC cells were cultured with FSM containing 10ng/ml TGF-?_1. In the latter groups, duration of treatment varied as follows: T1 group for 24h, T2 group for 48h, T3 group for 72h. The proliferation of HKC cells induced by TGF-?_1 was assessed by MTT and the expression of Pax was determined. The gene expression of Pax was determined by reverse transcripton polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and the protein expression of Pax was assessed by immunohistochemical staining and Western blot. Results TGF-?_1 could induce the proliferation of HKC cells in a time-dependent manner. In C group there was expression of Pax mRNA and protein in HKC cells. The expression of Pax mRNA and protein in HKC cells was positive in all the T groups, especially in T2 group and T3 group they were significantly increased compared with T1 group (P
7.Human kidney proximal tubular epithelial cell line expresses paxillin induced by TGF-?_1
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(10):-
Objective To investigate the expression of Paxillin (Pax) in human kidney proximal tubular epithelial cell line (HKC) induced by transforming growth factor ?1(TGF?1). Methods HKC cells cultured in vitro were divided into three groups at random: control group(C): cultured with free serum medium(FSM), TGF?1-treated groups (T1 and T2): cultured with FSM containing different concentrations of TGF?1 (T1: 5 ng/ml, T2: 10 ng/ml). After 48-hour treatment, the expression of Pax mRNA and protein was detected by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and immunohistochemical staining in HKC cells respectively. Results In Group C, the expression of Pax mRNA and protein in HKC cells was elementary. However, in T1 and T2 groups , the expression of Pax mRNA and protein in HKC cells was greatly increased, especially in T2 group which was more significantly increased than T1 group (P

Objective To observe the efficacy of pressing Cuanzhu (BL2) in preventing adverse reactions of gastroscopy. Method Eighty-two patients who were going to receive gastroscopy were randomized into two groups, 41 cases in each group. Group A was intervened by pressing Cuanzhu ahead of gastroscopy to prevent the plausible adverse reactions, while group B didn’t receive any interventions before gastroscopy. The adverse reactions of gastroscopy were observed.Result Compared to the blank control group, the intervention group produced a more significant efficacy in preventing the adverse reactions of gastroscopy. Conclusion Pressing Cuanzhu can produce a content efficacy in preventing the adverse reactions of gastroscopy.
9.The research progress of LSD1 in malignant tumors
Practical Oncology Journal 2014;(6):569-572
Lysine specific demethylase 1( LSD1) is a kind of flavin adenine dinucleotid ( FAD) dependent amine oxidase and can specifically demethylate H 3K4me2/me1 and H3K9me2/mel, thus it can regulate gene transcriptional activity .LSD1 is essential for mammalian development and is involved in many biological proces-ses,including cell differentiation, gene activation, and gene repression.Nowadays,it is demonstrated that LSD1 might promote cell phase transition(deficiency in LSD1 leads to partial cell cycle arrest in G2/M)and cell prolif-eration,suggesting that the over -expression of LSD1 might promote tumorigenesis.LSD1,as a demethylase, may be a new target for anti -cancer therapy.Hereby,we review on the structure, action mode of LSD1 and its rela-tionship with oncogenesis .
10.The Characteristics of Hearing-aid Fitting for Elderly Patients
Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology 2004;0(06):-
Objective To understand the characteristics of hearing aid fitting for elderly patients through 123 cases study. Methods 123 cases of the elderly people suffered from presbycusis were divided into 4 groups at an interval of every 10 years in age.The pure tone thresholds of 125 to 8000 Hz was examined, and digital hearing aids of Siemens were selected based on their hearing conditions, the final results were recorded and reasons of rejection to wearing hearing aid were studied. Results The average hearing condition for each group was found no difference.Patients over 70 were willing to go to see a doctor, but those under 70 were likely to accept hearing aids. The elderly over 70 rejected to wearing hearing aid due to discomfort and financial reasons while the other reasons involved social influence. Conclusion In order to improve the living quality, more attention should be paid to educate the elderly on the effective use of hearing aids.
