Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1986;0(03):-
Objective:To investigate the effects of salidroside on the proliferation, activation,Collagen Ⅰ secretion as well as expression of ROCK-Ⅰand TIMP-1 in HSC-T6 cell, and to elucidate the molecular mechanism of salidroside against hepatic fibrosis with Y-27632 as the positive control. Methods: HSC-T6 cell line was employed as the model for following study. MTT colorimetric assay was used to detect the proliferation of HSC-T6 cell. ELISA was employed to value the content of collagen Ⅰ in supernatant of HSC-T6 cells treated with salidroside and Y-27632. The effects of salidroside and Y-27632 on expressions of smooth muscle actin (?-SMA)、ROCK-Ⅰand TIMP-1 expression were analyzed by Real-time PCR and Western blot. Results(:1)Both Salidroside(3、6、12 mmol/L)and Y-27632(5、 10、20 ?mol/L)had dose-dependent inhibitory effects on ?-SMA expression which represents the activated state of HSC-T6(P
2.Experimental study of DFMO on the growth and apoptosis in bladder carcinoma cells
Cancer Research and Clinic 2006;0(12):-
Objective An experimental study was undertaken to observe the effects of DFMO on the growth and apoptosis in bladder carcinoma EJ cells. Methods The methods of cell culture, living camera technique, eosin dying cell counting and DNA end labeling in situ were used to observe the effects of DFMO on the growth and apoptosis in bladder carcinoma EJ cells. Results Living camera technique showed that cell growth was significantly inhibited after five days of 4 mmol/L, 6 mmol/L, 8 mmol/L of DFMO were administrated compared with that of control group, and this variation was obvious with DFMO dosage increasing. The same was observed with eosin dying cell counting. Tunel method showed that apoptosis was induced by DFMO with 4 mmol/L, 6 mmol/L, and 8 mmol/L, but 6 mmol/L seems to be a suitable dosage. All these methods showed that if exogenous putrescence was added simultaneously, there was no difference significantly compared with that of control group both in cell proliferation and apoptosis. Conclusion The proliferation of bladder carcinoma EJ cell could be inhibited by DFMO and also apoptosis could be induced by DFMO.

Journal of Environment and Health 1989;0(06):-
Objective To acquire effective clues for identification of environmental risk factors to birth defects. Methods Spatial autocorrelation statistics Moran's I and spatial hotspots detect method Getis's G statistics was used to identify birth defect risk factor. Results The different kinds of birth defects have different spatial distribution. Neural tube birth defects have the properties of spatial autocorrelation and different clustering phenomena in different spatial scales. Two typical spatial patterns were discovered in spatial scales of about 6.84 kilometers and 22.8 kilometers. Conclusion Using spatial autocorrelation probing technique, we find that there may be some common environmental teratogenetic factors which affect birth defects occurring ratio in the study area. By hotspots analysis of the clustering phenomena, the risk factors leading to birth defect were further resolved.

Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Sciences) 2007;27(6):703-5
To explore the clinical value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in differentiating benign and malignant focal liver lesions (FLLs) with SonoVue, CEUS was used to examine 113 patients with focal liver lesions (FLLs) in our hospital during July 2005 to December 2006. All the patients underwent contrast-enhanced CT (CECT) or contrast-enhanced MRI (CEMRI). Except for patients with focal fatty sparings (n=18) and with hemangiomas (n=8), all the patients were confirmed by operation or ultrasonic-guided liver puncture biopsy. A sulfur hexafluoride gas-based contrast agent was used with a MI of 0.15 to 0.17. Forty-eight cases of malignant FLLs, including 30 hepatocellular carcinomas (HCCs), 2 cholangiocarcinomas and 16 metastatic tumors, were detected. Seventy-eight cases of benign FLLs, including 33 hemangiomas, 9 focal nodular hyperplasias (FNHs), 19 focal fatty sparings, 5 abscesses, 7 regenerative nodules and 2 inflammatory pseudo-tumor, were involved. The contrast pattern of benign and malignant FLLs was quite different. CEUS has higher specificity and sensitivity than conventional ultrasound in differentiating benign and malignant FLLs.
