1.Analysis of risk factors of children with cerebral palsy in Xinxiang area

Objective To explore the risk factors of children with cerebral palsy during pregnancy and neonatal period in Xinxiang area.Methods A retrospective analysis of the relevant research data of cerebral palsy children in Xinxiang area was performed.The research objects were children with cerebral palsy born from May 1,2005 to April 30,2010.At the same time,3 healthy children were selected as the control group to analyze the related risk factors causing cerebral palsy in children.Results The risk factors of children with cerebral palsy in Xinxiang city were as follows : maternal nutritional status, vaginal bleeding during pregnancy, pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome, and abnormal production history were associated with cerebral palsy (x2 =2.313,13.296,5.034,7.434, all P < 0.05)during the perinatal period;related factors during neonatal period were premature birth,severe asphyxia, severe jaundice, and intracranial infection(x2 =4.637,29.50,4.633,5.107, all P < 0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed the history of severe asphyxia (OR =2.340,95 % CI: 1.250-4.440), severe jaundice (OR =4.110, 95% CI:2.430-6.740) ,premature birth(OR =2.570,95% CI: 1.410-4.770) ,pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome (OR =2.350,95 % CI:I.020-5.440), vaginal bleeding during pregnancy (OR =73.600,95 % C1:3.060-17.750) and abnormal production history(OR =5.710,95% CI: 1.250-26.310) were independent risk factors causing children with cerebral palsy.Conclusions The history of severe asphyxia, severe jaundice, premature birth, pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome, vaginal bleeding during pregnancy and congenital dysplasia are independent risk factors of children with cerebral palsy in Xinxiang area.It should be strengthened to screen and standardize the management of high-risk newborn infants with cerebral palsy, and do well management for perinatal high-risk pregnant women management.Early prevention can help to reduce the incidences of cerebral palsy in local area.
2.Relationship between esophageal squamous cell carcinoma with lymph node metastasis and serum proteome fingerprint

Objective To analyze the alterations of serum protein in ESCC,compare alterations of serum protein with and without LM. Methods Serum samples were collected from 64 ESCC patients before operation and 60 cases with gender and age-matched healthy controls,special serum protein or peptide spectra was determined by SELDI-TOF-MS measurement after treating the sample onto weak cation exchange (WCX2) protein chip for each case. The serum protein profiles were compared by Biomarker Wizard Software between the ESCC patients and healthy controls, and among ESCC patients stratified according to gender, age, location of tumor, size of tumor, infiltration and with or without LM. Results (1)120 protein peaks were detected at the molecular range of 0 to 50000 in comparing of ESCC patients and healthy controls. 31 significantly different peaks were found between ESCC patients and healthy controls (P <0.05), 10 peaks were selected(P<0.01). (2) One significantly different protein peak (m/z 4174) was detected between T1 and T3, T4 (P<0.05). (3) There were three significantly different protein peaks (m/z 3970,4174 and 4277) between with LM and without LM (P<0.05).The peak (m/z 4174) was shared by two groups above. (4) No significant different protein was found when patients stratified according to gender, age, location of tumor and size of tumor. Conclusion Significant difference exists in serum proteins between ESCC patients and healthy controls. There are statistical difference exists in serum proteins between T1 and T3, T4, with LM and without LM. This difference is less than between ESCC patients and healthy controls. Some commonness is existed in serum protein fingerprint for patients with serious infiltration and with LM.
3.Study on the exocellular polysaccharide of Ureaplasma urealyticum biofilm in vitro

Objective To investigate the extracellular polysaccharide distribution and components of Ureaplasma urealyticum (Uu) after biofilm having been developed in.Methods The standard serotype 3 and serotype 14 belong to biovar Parvo,and the standard serotype 4 and serotype 8 belong to biovar T960 were employed to form biofilrns in vitro.Scanning electron microscope and confocal laser scanning microscope were used to analysis the biofilms and extracellular polysaccharide.We used combination of two different labeled lectins,Canavalia ensiformis(FITC-ConA) and Erythrina cristagalli(ECA) which bind to specific polysaccharide residues to visualize extracellular polysaccharide in biofilms,and average uorescence intensity was evaluated Results All the strains can form the biofilmsin vitro.The biofilm was honeycomb-Like structures mainly,and extracellular polymeric substances accounts for majority of proportions.All the extracellular polysaccharide could be combined with FITC-ConA and ECA,and the total average fluorescence intensity of FITC-ConA was higher than ECA( P<0.001 ).Conclusion Ureaplasma urealyticum biofilm is honeycomb-like structures mainly.The extracellular polysaccharide contains,galactose,and N-acetyl glucan residual,and the glucose,mannose residual are the main components.
4.Manifestations of liver injury in 333 hospitalized patients with coronavirus disease 2019

Objective:To investigate the manifestations of liver injury in hospitalized patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), to investigate the prognosis indicators of the disease, and to provide the reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods:From January 10 to February 14, 2020, at Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, the data of 333 hospitalized patients with COVID-19 were collected. The changes of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), total bilirubin (TBil), direct bilirubin (DBil), indirect bilirubin (IBil) and albumin of the first liver function test after admission and the reexaminations of liver function test during hospitalization period in patients with liver injury were retrospectively analyzed. Student t test and Chi-square test were used for statistical analysis. Results:Liver injury occurred in 39.6% (132/333) of COVID-19 patients. There was no statistically significant difference in the rate of liver injury between patients in intensive care unit (ICU) and in general ward (45.6%, 26/57 vs. 38.4%, 106/276; χ2=1.026, P>0.05). 67.4% (89/132) of COVID-19 patients with liver injury presented with increased ALT or AST level on admission. During hospitalization, the level of ALT was higher than that of the first examination after admission ((60.28±50.44) U/L vs. (42.25±32.21) U/L), and the difference was statistically significant ( t=-3.230, P<0.05). The levels of ALT and AST of 71.2% (94/132) patients were both <80 U/L, which indicated that most of the patients showed mild liver injury. The patients with elevated level of TBil, DBil and IBil accounted for 3.9% (13/333), 5.4% (18/333) and 2.4% (8/333) of the COVID-19 patients, respectively. The albumin level of COVID-19 patients with liver injury during hospitalization was lower than that of the first examination after admission ((31.8±5.1) g/L vs. (33.7±5.4) g/L), and the difference was statistically significant ( t=2.712, P<0.05). The albumin levels at first examination on admission and reexamination during hospitalization of patients in ICU were both significantly lower than those of patients in general ward ((29.3±3.7) g/L vs. (34.8±5.1) g/L and (27.6±2.8) g/L vs. (32.9±5.1) g/L), and the differences were statistically significant ( t=4.928 and 4.783, both P<0.05). Conclusions:The incidence of liver injury in COVID-19 patients is high. A slight increase in aminotransferase levels is particularly common. Bilirubin abnormality is relatively rare and mild. The level of albumin may be one of the indicators for the severity and prognosis of COVID-19.
5.Clinical characteristic and curative effect analysis of congenital leukemia

Objective:To investigate the diagnosis and treatment of congenital leukemia and the main factors affecting its prognosis.Methods:Clinical data of children with congenital leukemia admitted to Zhengzhou Children′s Hospital from July 2007 to December 2017 were retrospectively collected.Their clinical characteristics, chemotherapy and factors affecting their long-term survival were analyzed.Results:A total of 23 cases of congenital leukemia were collected, who mostly complained of " increased white blood cells, skin nodules and skin hemorrhage" . Among them, 10 cases abandoned the treatment, who all died according to the follow-up results.Among the 13 treated cases, 7 cases were male, and 6 were female.One of the 13 cases was a twin.Eight cases were acute myeloid leukemia, and 5 cases were acute lymphoblastic leukemia.One case did not perform the fusion gene test. MLL gene was positive in 2 cases and negative in 10 cases.No other fusion genes were detected.Karyotype analysis showed that 1 case was 21-trisomy and 12 cases had a normal karyotype.All 13 patients received symptomatic and/or reduced chemotherapy.The median follow-up time was 4 years and 11 months.Six cases recovered and 7 cases died during the follow-up.One case was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on the 6 th day after the birth in another hospital.He was not treated timely and came to Zhengzhou Children′s Hospital with general contract blocks at the age of 32 days.After checking, he was diagnosed with center leukemia and testicular leukemia.He developed a severe infection in the lung and brain after strong chemotherapy, and died even after the remote consultation with Lurie Children′s Hospital of Chicago.The other 6 cases died of severe infection and multiple organ injuries after chemotherapy, and no one died of leukemia relapse. Conclusion:Reduction chemotherapy may be an important treatment to children with congenital leukemia.
