1.The relationship of tumor marker and CD4+T cells before and after radiotherapy on patients

Objective The study is aimed to research into the effect of CD4+ T cells on patients with severe advanced breast cancer under radiotherapy that cannot be treated with surgery ,by observing the variation of CEA ,AFP ,CA125 and CA15‐3 before and after the radiotherapy applied .Methods We identified the CEA ,AFP ,CA125 and CA15‐3 densities in blood serum for a group of 38 patients with advanced breast cancer and a group of 30 normal people with chemiluminescence immune assay ,and we deter‐mined the CD3+ ,CD4+ ,CD8+ T percentage in peripheral blood and the ratio of CD4+ /CD8+ with flow cytometry .Results The group with normal CD4+ T percentage went through a decreased in CEA ,AFP ,CA125 ,CA15‐3 densities after the radiotherapy ,and the variation was significant(P<0 .05) .The group of people with abnormal CD4+ T percentage go through CEA ,CA15‐3 densities decrease after the radiotherapy ,and the variation was statistically significant(P< 0 .05) .Conclusion For those with advanced breast cancer and cannot be treated with surgery ,the influence of radiotherapy on CEA ,AFP ,CA125 ,CA15‐3 densities is significant in the group of patients with CD4+ T percentage ,adn has better therapeutic effect .
2.Database Development of Leaf Morphological-venation Pattern for Identification of Chinese Herbs

VFP Database Management System was applied in the establishment of the first Chinese Medicine Leaf Morphological-venation Pattern (LMVP) Identification Database Management. It stores 46 species of Chinese medicine confusing LMVP identification criteria (characteristics) and its 10 kinds of basic information, as well as 117 families with a total of 358 species of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and plant references document when study-ing in the TCM identification and methodology. It can provide query identification criteria (features), literature, and data for statistical analysis. It is the technology platform for the implementation, promotion and improvement of LMVP identification method, and further development on LMVP data mining. This database has a simple structure, multiple functions and applications, convenient management and maintenance, which are suitable for teaching.

Objective The study aimed to assess the relationship between the plasma resistin,obesity and insulin resistance and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods We measured fasting plasma resistin in 60 NAFLD patients and 28 matched normal control subjects from Oct.2005 to Feb.2006.The level of plasma resistin was measured by ELISA method.Insulin resistance by homeostasis model(HOMA),height,weight,waist circumstance,hip girth,waist to hip ratio(WHR),body mass index(BMI),blood pressure,blood glucose,total cholesterol,triglyceride,HDL-cholesterol,LDL-cholesterol,aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and fasting insulin were measured as well.Results Plasma resistin levels were higher in NAFLD patients as compared to controls(8.56?2.5 vs 6.39?2.81,P
4.Experimental and clinical study on diagnosis of acute intestinal ischemia in early stage

ObjectiveTo study the diagnostic value of alteration of serum enzyme in acute intestinal ischemia(AII). MethodsChanges of serum levels of CPK, CKMB, LDH, LA, CRP and CO2CP of venous blood of 40 rabbits and 53 patients in different ischemia conditions at different time before and after operation were measured to determine the relationship between the changes and ischemia degree of intestine. ResultsThe serum levels of CPK, CKMB, LDH, LA and CRP increased gradually with the severity of AII and decreased with the improvement of AII, but CO2CP was the reverse.The 6 assay values mentioned above in animals of AII compared with the control group, and in patients in pretreatment compared with the control group, and in reversible intestinal necrosis compared with irreversible intestinal necrosis, and in nonoperation group 1 h after hospitalization compared with reversible intestinal necrosis group 2 h before operation(except CO2CP)all had remarkable difference(P
5.Characteristics of familial hyperlipoproteinemia in Lanzhou

Objective To investigate familial hyperlipoproteinemia and the features of familial hyperlipoproteinemia in Lanzhou . Methods Data were from previous studies on the subject .Families of hyperlipoproteinemia were screening ,questionnaires were col-lected ,physical examination and laboratory data of family members were also colleted to analysis the characteristics of familial hy-perlipoproteinemia .Results A total of 39 familial hyperlipoproteinemia families were enrolled in the study ,including 280 family members .There were 15 core families ,11 single-parent families ,and 13 orphaned families .There were 6 familial hypercholesterol-emia families ,9 familial hypertriglycerides families ,24 mixed familial hyperlipidemia families .The children of the first generation ac-counted for 63 .2% of the total number of people enrolled in the study ,the father generation accounted for 14 .3% ,the children of the second geration accounted for 22 .5% .Conclusion In the survey ,the most common type of familial hyperlipidemia was mixed familial hyperlipidemia .The father generation was majority .The member of core families was less than incomplete families .
6.Application Investigation of Xiyanping Injections in Bone Surgery Department Inpatients in a Certain Hos-pital

Objective:To investigate the application of Xiyanping injections ( XYP) in the bone surgery department inpatients in a certain hospital to provide reference for the clinical rational medication. Methods:A retrospective investigation was adopted to randomly survey 180 hospitalized medical recorders with XYP from a certain hospital in 2013. The usage, dosage and medication purpose of XYP were analyzed. Results:The reasonable rate of usage and dosage of XYP was 97. 2%. Among the surgical patients, 82. 8% were giv-en XYP, and among them, 97. 3% was accordance with the medication purpose. Among the nonsurgical patients, 17. 2% were given XYP, and among them, 71. 0% was accordance with the medication purpose. The alone-use rate was 60. 0% and the rate of combina-tion with antibacterials was 40. 0%. The longest treatment course was 20d, the shortest one was 1 d, and the mean value was (7. 7 ± 5. 3) d. Conclusion:Irrational use of XYP exists in clinics, and the use should be strengthened and regulated.
7.The epidemiology and risk factor of dyslipidemia for people in multiple physical examination center in Lanzhou

Objective To explore the status and risk factors of the dyslipidemia among health examination population of Lanzhou for providing the intervention measures .Methods According to the stratified cluster random sampling method ,4 505 health exami-nation individuals were recruited for the study from 5 hospitals in the Lanzhou region through questionnaire ,biochemical analysis . Results Prevalence of dyslipidemia of the population was 45 .79% ,high TG was the main type .The level of serum TC ,TG ,HDL-C and LDL-C were (5 .27 ± 1 .08) ,(1 .74 ± 1 .38) ,(1 .41 ± 0 .43) and (2 .83 ± 0 .82)mmol/L .The prevalence was 53 .49% in male , and 34 .93% in female .The prevalence was higher among the group of 35- <45 years old for male and 55- <65 years old for fe-male .The level of HDL-C was low among young people .There was aggregation of risk factors among the participants with dyslipi-demia .Non-conditional logistic regression analysis showed that the risk factors were age (OR=1 .701) ,overweight (OR=5 .560) , abdominal obesity(OR=2 .398) ,smoking(OR=0 .545) ,intake of greasy diet(OR=5 .313) ,sleep quality(OR=2 .005) and diastolic blood pressure(OR=3 .061) .Conclusion Lipid disorders becomes a serious problem in the health examination population ,measures such as rational diet ,weight control ,sleep improvement ,pressure control and quiting smoking must be taken .
8.Comparison of the value of LDL-C and non-HDL-C in differential diagnosis of familial hypertriglyceridemia and familial combined hyperlipidemia

Objective To evaluate the value of low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) and non-high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (non-HDL-C) in differential diagnosis of familial hypertriglyceridemia (FHTG) and familial combined hyperlipidemia (FCHL).Methods We recruited 9 FHTG pedigrees (94 subjects) and 24 FCHL pedigrees (94 subjects) and then divided them into affected groups and non-affected groups according to lipid abnormality.Another 10 normal control pedigrees (57 subjects) served as controls.We compared the routine lipid levels such as triglyceride (TAG),total cholesterol (TC),HDL-C and LDL-C and non-HDL-C between the groups.After stratification based on TAG level,we observed the relationship between LDL-C and non-HDL-C.Last we confirmed and analyzed the cut-off value of differential diagnosis between FHTG and FCHL with receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve.Results The levels of TAG,TC,and non-HDL-C were significantly higher in the affected group of FHTG than in the non-affected group of FHTG and the normal group (P<0.01 or P<0.05).The levels of TAG,TC,HDL-C,LDL-C and non-tHDL-C wcrc significantly higher in the affected group of FCHL than in the non-affected group of FCHL and the normal group (P<0.01 or P<0.05).The levels of TAG were significantly higher (P<0.01) while TC,HDL-C,LDL-C and non-HDL-C levels were significantly lower (P< 0.01 or P<0.05) in the affected group of FHTG than in the affected group of FCHL.The association between LDL-C and non-HDL-C was positive both in FHTG and FCHL,but the relationship became weaker as TAG level increased.The cut-off value of LDL-C and non-HDL-C was 3.575 mmol/L and 4.525 mmol/L,respectively.Conclusion In addition to the routinely used lipid indexes,non-HDL-C may be a new index for differential diagnosis of FHTG and FCHL,and may be superior to LDL-C in this regard.

Objective To study the effects of positive urine glucose on maternal pregnancy.Methods A total of 1 338 pregnant women were tested urine glucose.On the basis of their urine-glucose level,two groups were devided:experimental,68 cases of posi-tive urine-glucose gravidas,control group,199 cases of negative urine-glucose gravidas.Analyze on the outcome of pregnancy of the two groups.Results Compared between positive group and control group,the incidence of died(abnormal)fetus,gestational hyper-tension,abnormal amniotic fluid,fetal distress,and fetal macrosomia were not statistically different(P >0.05),but the incidence of premature rupture of membranes was statistically different (P <0.05 ).Conclusion Positive glucose urine of gravidas might in-crease the risk of premature rupture of membranes,positive urine glucose detected during pregnancy should be highly valued.
10.Determination of Entrapment Efficiency of Buthionine Sulfoximine Nanoparticles in Different Entrapping Systems by HPLC

Objective:To establish an HPLC method to determine the entrapment efficiency of buthionine sulfoximine (BSO) nan-oparticles in different entrapping systems .Methods:Free BSO was separated from the loaded nanoparticles by high speed centrifugation in two entrapping systems and the entrapment efficiency of buthionine sulfoximine nanoparticles was determined by HPLC .A WondaSil C18 column (250 mm ×4.6 mm, 5 μm) was used and the mobile phase was methanol-water (20 ∶80).The flow rate was 0.4 ml· min-1 and the column temperature was 30℃.The detection wavelength was set at 210 nm and the volume of injection was 20 μl.Re-sults:BSO had a good linear relationship within the range of 2.0-320.0μg· ml-1(r=0.999 7).The average recovery was 101.05%and RSD was 0.74%(n=9).The average entrapment efficiency of HP/CaCO3/CaHPO4/BSO nanoparticles and HP/PS/CaCO3/BSO hydrid nanovesicles was 25.63% and 58.62%, respectively.Conclusion:The method has good repeatability and high accuracy and sensitivity, which is applicable to determine the entrapment efficiency of BSO nanoparticles .HP/PS/CaCO3/BSO hydrid nanovesicles entrapped system is superior to HP/CaCO3/CaHPO4/BSO nanoparticles entrapped system .
