1.EFFECT OF ARTHROSCOPY IN CONJUNCTION WITH MINIMALLY INVASIVE PERCUTA-NEOUS PLATE OSTEOSYNTHESIS IN THE TREATMENT OF TIBIAL PLATEAU FRACTURE

Objective To study the effect of arthroscopy in conjunction with minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis (MIPPO) in the treatment of tibial plateau fracture.Methods 78 cases of tibial plateau fracture patients admitted during March 2011 and June 2014 were retrospectively analyzed, with 38 cases given the conven-tional open reduction treatment (group A) and 40 given arthroscopy in conjunction with MIPPO (group B).The clini-cal efficacy, Rasmussen excellent rate and good rate, and postoperative complications in both groups were then com-pared.Results The operative time showed no significant difference in both groups (p >0.05); the time of hospital-ization, the length of surgical incision and healing time of group B were significantly better than group A (p <0.05);after follow -up observation, Rasmussen excellent rate and good rate of group B were significantly higher than group A (p <0.05).Conclusion Arthroscopic in conjunction with MIPPO has the advantages of smaller surgical wound, faster recovery and fewer complications, and have good efficacy and better clinical value for the treatment of tibial plateau fractures.
2.The functional role of long non-coding RNA PANDAR in promoting colorectal cancer metastasis and its mechanism

Background and purpose: Accumulating evidence has revealed that long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) is correlated with carcinogenesis and tumor development. Recent literature suggested that lncRNA promoter of CDKN1A antisense DNA damage activated RNA (PANDAR) was involved in the development of various cancers. However, the functional role of PANDAR in colorectal cancer (CRC) has not been elucidated yet. The present study aimed to explore the functional role of lncRNA PANDAR in promoting CRC metastasis and its mechanism.Methods: The expression of lncRNA PANDAR in CRC cell lines and tissues was detected by real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RTFQ-PCR), and the correlation between lncRNA PANDAR expression and CRC clinicopathological characteristics was statistically analyzed. Then, lncRNA PANDAR stably silencing CRC cells (HCT116-shPANDAR), overexpression cells (DLD1-PANDAR) and control vector cells (HCT116-shNC and DLD1-vector) were established using lentiviral vectors. Moreover, Transwell assay and Matrigel assay were performed to investigate the function of lncRNA PANDAR in CRC migration and invasion. Furthermore, the expression of transcriptional factors mediating epithelial-mesenchymal transition of lncRNA PANDAR overexpression cells were monitored by RTFQ-PCR assay, and the function of the target gene in modulating lncRNA PANDAR mediated CRC metastasis was also explored. Results: The expression levels of lncRNA PANDAR in normal colorectal epithelial cells were much lower than in CRC cell. The levels of lncRNA PANDAR in tumor-adjacent tissues were verified to be much lower than in CRC tissues [(171.52±97.80)% vs (100.00±63.18)%, P<0.05]. Moreover, the expression of lncRNA PANDAR was detected to be significantly correlated with CRC TNM stage, lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis (P<0.05). Besides, lncRNA PANDAR deficiency significantly reduced the migration [100.00% vs (42.08±4.77)%, P<0.05] and invasion [100.00% vs (39.14±3.81)%, P<0.05] capabilities in CRC cells, in contrast, the migration [100.00% vs (194.12±9.33)%, P<0.05] and invasion [100.00% vs (204.08±12.27)%, P<0.05] capa-bilities of CRC cells were obviously increased with lncRNA PANDAR overexpression. Furthermore, zinc-finger E-box binding homeobox 1 (ZEB1) expression was detected to be positively correlated with lncRNA PANDAR expression, and ZEB1 silencing could significantly reverse the increased migration and invasion capabilities induced by lncRNA PANDAR in CRC cells. Conclusion: LncRNA PANDAR could promote CRC metastasis by potentially targeting ZEB1. LncRNA PANDAR might be a promising diagnostic marker and therapeutic target for CRC patients.
3.Clinical Observation on Treatment of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation with Electroacupuncture on Jiaji (Ex-B 2) Points plus Traction: A Clinical Report of 30 Cases

Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of treating herniation of lumbar intervertebral disc with electroacupuncture on Jiaji(Ex-B 2) points plus 3-D traction. Methods: To allocate 90 cases randomly into three groups and adopt therapies of 3-D traction, electroacupuncture on Jiaji(Ex-B 2) points and comprehensive method (combination of electroacupuncture on Jiaji(Ex-B 2) points and 3-D traction) and then compare the pre-treatment and post-treatment result with scores of clinical symptoms and clinical efficacy. Results: After 4-week treatment, the group of comprehensive therapy showed better effect than the other two groups. Conclusions:Electroacupuncture on Jiaji(Ex-B 2) points plus 3-D traction has positive effect on herniation of lumbar intervertebral disc.
4.Research on the development of EMR-based hospital information resource management platform

The regional medical information system calls for regional information resources and hospital-level information resources be interconnected and intercommunicated.To meet this requirement,a HL7 CDA-based solution was proposed based on analysis of the current hospital information resources management.An information resources service portal was built to harmonize the management of both new and old resources,and the hierarchy management based on information granularity.The technical implementation of the system is compliant with the SOA architecture and health information standards.This ensures the interconnection and intercommunication between inner information and outer one,and uses information resources in an efficient,reasonable and safe manner.

Objective To study ethanol-induced the neuroapoptosis of visual cortex in offspring mice. Methods Pregnant female mice were fed by intubating alcohol daily,beginning on E5(embryonic,E) and continuing through the pup's birth.The neuroapoptosis in P0,P7 and P14 visual cortex was visualized by Caspase-3 activity immunohistochemistry and Terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase biotin-dUTP nick end labeling(TUNEL) staining. 6.Effects of prenatal ethanol exposure on the neuronal number in visual cortex of off spring mouse

Aim To study ethanol-induced changes in the development and neuronal number of visual cortex in C57BL /6 mice. Methods Female mice were fed with ethanol during pregnancy . The neuron density (ND) and cortical thickness (CT) in visual cortex of off spring mice were measured at either P0, P7 and P14 with hematoxylin and eosin (H.E) and Nissl staining. Results Embryonic death and malformationswere found in the ethanol-treated groups. Malformations, such as microcephaly,anencephaly and myeloschisis with spinabifida, etc were found in late-term embryos. The malformation rate was 12%. Compared with control group, the development of visual cortex in ethanol-treated groups was delayed, and its lamination was in disorder. The neuron polarity was disturbed. ObjectiveIn order to compare the alteration of reelin-immunoreactive Cajal-Retzius cells (CR cells) in molecular layer of dentate gyrus of APPswe transgenic mice with wild type, the histochemical and developmental characteristics of CR cells were studied, therefore, the roles of CR cells in Alzheimer's disease would be revealed further.Methods The Thioflavine S staining, reelin immunofluorescence with or without reelin/glutamate and reelin/GABA immuno-double staining were carried out in the study. In the meantime, Western blotting was used to study the expression of reelin in hippocampi of the both wild type and transgenic mice. Results Reelin positive CR cells could be double-labeled with either glutamate or GABA immunostaining. Caspase-3 immunofluorescence demonstrated that some CR cells went through apoptosis during their development. Compared with wild type, CR cells in APPswe transgenic mice had significantly decreased in the molecular layer of the dentate gyrus. The result was supported with Western blotting analysis of reelin expression in hippocampus. Conclusion Reelin could be co-expressed with either glutamate or GABA, suggesting CR cells would be glutamatergic exciting neurons and GABAergic interneurons. The loss of CR cells during development probably was caused by the neuroapoptosis. Significant decrease of CR cells in hippocampus of APPswe transgenic mice indicated reelin may play an important role in AD pathological alterations.
8.Therapeutic Observation of Thermal Electroacupuncture Therapy for Lumbodorsal Myofascitis

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of thermal electroacupuncture therapy in treating lumbodorsal myofascitis. Method Sixty-two patients with lumbodorsal myofascitis were randomized into a treatment group of 30 cases and a control group of 32 cases. The treatment group was intervened by thermal electroacupuncture therapy, while the control group was by orally taking Meloxicam tablets. The Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) was observed before and after treatment, and the clinical efficacies were compared.Result The total effective rate was 100.0% in the treatment group versus 78.1% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The VAS scores were significantly changed after treatment in both groups (P<0.05). After treatment, the VAS score in the treatment group was significantly different from that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Thermal electroacupuncture therapy is an effective approach in treating lumbodorsal myofascitis.
9.Effects of rosiglitazone on the expression of nuclear factor-κB P65 and metalloproteinase-9 mRNA in peripheral blood monocyte-derived macrophages in patients with coronary artery disease

Objective To investigate the effects and mechanisms of rosiglitazone on the expressions of nuclear factor-κB and matrix metalloprotease (MMP-9) in peripheral blood monocyte-derived macrophages (MDMs) in patients with coronary heart disease. Method This was a clinical case-control study. Forty-eight actue coronary symdrome (ACS) patients (ACS group), and 20 patients with stable angina (SA) (control group) were collected. They were performed coronary arteriography in the Department of Cardiology of the Second Xiangya Hospital from March to April in 2007. Exclusion criteria included acute infection, trauma or surgery patients within four weeks, cerebral vascular accident, liver and kidney dysfunction, cancer, and so on. The peripheral blood mononuclear cells were isolated and transformed into MDMs with macrophage colony-stimulating factor treatment. The transformed MDMs were randomly assigned into subgrougs and incubated with 0 /μmol/L, 1 μmol/L, 10 μmol/L, 20 μmol/L of rosiglitazone respectively. The expressions of PPAR-γ mRNA, MMP-9 mRNA were determined by RT-PCR and nuclear factor-κB P65 (NF-KB P65) expression by immunohistochemistry. Multiple comparisons were examined for significant differences using analysis of variance (ANOVA). Results The basal expression of PPAR-y mRNA was lower, in contrast, the levels of NF-KB P65 and MMP-9 mRNA were higher in ACS group than control group. PPAR-γ mRNA expression were significantly upregulated in both ACS and control groups with rosiglitazone treatment. PPAR-γ mRNA expression was positive correlation, while the expressions of MMP-9 mRNA were negative correlation with the rosiglitazone concentration in the ACS group. Rosiglitazone inhibited the expression of NF-KB in a concentration-independent manner in ACS and control groups. Conclusions The expression of PPAR-y mRNA is inhibited, while the activity of NF-KB and expression of MMP-9 mRNA are enhanced in MDMs of ACS cases. Rosiglitazone intervention may inhibit NF-KB activity and MMP-9 expression by upregulation of PPAR-y expression in MDMS of patiens with ACS.
10.Clinical Study on Electroacupuncture for Post-withdrawal Anxiety-depression Mood in Heroin Addicts

Objective: To investigate the intervention effect of electroacupuncture on post-withdrawal anxiety and depression of those with heroin dependence. Method: One hundred and twenty heroin dependence cases were randomly allocated into 4 groups, including acupuncture group 1 using Jiaji (Ex-B 2) points and Shenshu (BL 23), acupuncture group 2 using points in the four limbs, simulation and control groups. Then the SAS and SDS changes were observed before the treatment and 4th, 8th and 10th week after. Result: At the 4th, 8th and 10th week, the SAS and SDS scores in acupuncture group 1 and 2 showed significant differences with the control group (P<0.01, P<0.05). There were significant differences between SAS changes in acupuncture group 1 and 2 but there was no significant difference in SDS changes. Conclusion:Electroacupuncture can improve the post-withdrawal anxiety and depression in heroin addicts.Jiaji (Ex-B 2) points showed significantly better effects in improving anxiety than points in four limbs but no significant difference in improving depression.
