1.The surgical experience of the recurrent hepatolithiasis of 163 cases

Objective To study the ways and effect of surgical treatment for recurrent hepatolithiasis. Methods The therapeutic patterns and the clinical effect were retrospectively analyzed for 163 patiens8 with recurrent hepatolithiasis from January 2004 to December 2006.The 86 patients were partical hepatectomy, the 77 patients were no hepatectomy. Results The excellent rate was 96.5%,the incidence of residual stone and recurrence was 5.8%and 1.2%respectively in partical hepatectomy-but 85.7%,15.6% and 11.7%in no hepatectomy. There were statistical significance between the partical hepatectomy and no hepatectomy(P<0.05).Conclusion The therapeutic effect of the partial hepatectomy is better than that of the nohepatectomy for the patients with gallstone.

3.Central compartment lymph node metastasis in cN0 papillary thyroid carcinoma

ObjectiveTo evaluate central compartment lymph node metastasis in cN0 papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC) patients. MethodsThe clinical data of 166 cN0 PTC patients was retrospectively analyzed. ResultsThe central compartment lymph node metastasis rate of age < 45 years group was higher than the group of age≥45 years(39% vs.22%,P <0.05).Tumor size >0.5 cm tends to metastasize more often than tumor size ≤0.5 cm(P <0.05) ; there was significantly difference in central compartment lymph node metastasis rate between upper pole tumor ( 25%,12/48 ) and middle ( 45%,13/29 ) or lower pole (43%,31/72),P < 0.01. ConclusionscN0 PTC patients with tumor located in middle pole or lower pole,tumor size > 0.5 cm or age < 45 years are at higher risks for central compartment lymph node metastasis.
4.Comparason of elastic traction and canine lace back in distal movement of canines used in the aligning stage of preadjusted appliance

Objective:To compare the effects of distal movement of canines between elastic traction and canine lace back in the aligning stage of preadjusted appliance. Methods:50 cases with Angle I malocclusion were divided into two groups after first premolar extraction. Patients in both groups were treated by the same kind of preadjusted appliance in the aligning stage. Canine lace back was used in one group and elastic traction in another.Treatment was countinued for 12 weeks.Measurements of the dental models and the cephalograms were conducted before and after treatment.Results:Compared to the canine lace back, the decrease of the width between the cuspids of upper premolars and that between that of lower molars, the increase of the angle of the distally tipped canines and the mesially tipped lower molars and the lingually tipped incisors, the higher speed and larger distance of distal moving canines were achieved more easy with elastic traction. 5.Correlation between serum cystatin C levels and cerebral microbleeds in patients with acute ischemic stroke

Objective To investigate the correlation between serum cystatin C (CysC) levels and cerebral microbleeds (CMBs) in patients with acute ischemic stroke.Methods The patients with acute ischemic stroke were enrolled.Susceptibility weighted imaging was used to identify the presence of CMBs.Particle-enhanced turbidimetric immunoassay was used to detect the levels of serum CysC.Results A total of 485 patients with acute ischemic stroke were enrolled,including 151 (31.1%) with CMBs.The level of serum CysC of the CMB group was significantly higher than that of the non-CMB group (1.24± 0.13 mg/L vs.1.02± 0.11 rmg/L; t=4.261,P< 0.001).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the increased serum CysC level was an independent risk factor for the presence of CMBs in patients with acute ischemic stroke (each increase in one standard deviation,odds ratio 4.063,95% confidence interval 2.142-8.127; P <0.001).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the number of CMBs in patients with acute ischemic stroke increased with the increasing serum CysC level after adjusting for other confounders (r2 =0.361,P =0.017).Conclusions In patients with acute ischemic stroke,the serum CysC levels are independently associated with the CMBs,and the number of CMBs increases with the serum CysC level.

Minocycline is the second generation semisynthetic tetracycline antibiotics.A variety of animal models and clinical trials have shown that it has neuroprotective effect.Its mechanism is associated with inhibiting apoptosis, alleviating inflammatory reaction, reducing infarct volume, and alleviating vascular injury.This article reviews the neuroprotective effect of minocycline in preclinical phase and early clinical trials of acute ischemic stroke.
7.Antiplatelet therapies in ischemic stroke patients with diabetes mellitus or insulin resistance

Diabetes mellitus is an independent predictor of high platelet reactivity after antiplatelet therapy in patients with ischemic stroke,and the latter is closely related to the increased risk of recurrence of stroke.The mechanisms of high platelet reactivity in patients with diabetes or insulin resistance are associated with a variety of factors.Some circulating molecules can be used as markers for predicting the reactivity of platelets.Monitoring of platelet reactivity after treatment with new antiplatelet agents may provide basis for individualized antithrombotic therapy in ischemic stroke patients with diabetes or insulin resistance.

Objective T lymphocyte subsets in children with characteristics observed with infec-tious mononucleosis (infectious mononucleosis,IM),to explore its reference value.Methods January 2011 to December 2014 during a pediatric door altogether 115 cases of hospitalized children were divided in-to three groups,51 cases of IMgroup,33 atypical group,31 patients flyers syndrome,selecting outpatient healthy children as 101 cases the control group.For each group T lymphocyte subsets:CD3 + CD4 +,CD3 +CD8 +,CD4 +/CD8 + ratio,analyze the differences between the groups was significant.Results Compared four groups of T lymphocyte subsets (CD3 +,CD3 +CD4 +,CD3 +CD8 +,CD4 +/CD8 + ratio)change char-acteristics,IMgroup,atypical group,flyers syndrome group and the control group,the difference was sta-tistically significance (P <0.05),presence prompts patients significant immune dysfunction;children IM group than in the atypical group,flyers syndrome group CD3 +,indicators of changes in CD3 +CD4 +,CD3 +CD8 +,CD4 +/CD8 + ratio and other more obvious The difference was statistically significant (P <0.05), described IMgroup of children was more severe immune dysfunction;atypical combination Flyer syndrome group,the difference was not statistically significant (P >0.05),two groups of children described in T there was no significant difference in lymphocyte immune.Conclusions T lymphocyte subsets have some reference value in the differential diagnosis of IM,and prompt clinical attention to EB virus infection in chil-dren whose immune function,can help prevent and treat.

Random peptides displayed on the filamentous phage surface offer a rich source of molecular diversity in searching for ligands that bind an antibody, receptor and other proteins. The phage display system has been effective in the discovery of various ligands. Potential applications of the peptide library include investigation of the protein protein interactions and discovery of mimetic drug candidates.
10.The study on expressions of osteopontin,caspase-3 and mt-P53 in glioma

Objective To study the expressions of osteopontin (OPN),caspase-3 and mt-P53 proteins, and their relationship in gliomas. Methods Seventy gliomas specimens of patients (glioma group) were selected, and 10 samples of non-glioma brain tissue were used as control group. The SP method was used to detect the positive rates of protein expressions of OPN, caspase-3 and mt-P53 between two groups. The relationship between protein expressions of OPN, caspase-3 and mt-P53 in gliomas and grade of gliomas were detected by Western blot assay. Spearman rank correlation was compared between the positive expression of OPN, caspase-3 and rate mt-P53. Results The positive expression rates of OPN and mt-P53 were significantly higher in glioma group (64.29%and 60%) than those of control group (no positive expression), but the positive expression rate of caspase-3 was significantly lower than that of control group (47.14%vs. 90%, P<0.05). There were no significant differences in OPN, caspase-3 and mt-P53 expressions between different gender, age, tumor size and tumor position (P>0.05). The higher the WHO classification, the higher the positive expression rates of OPN and mt-P53 (P<0.001), and the lower the positive expression rate of caspase-3 (P<0.001). With the increased level of glioma grade, OPN and mt-P53 protein levels were increased, but caspase-3 protein expression level was decreased. There was a negatively correlation between OPN and the positive expression of caspase-3, but there was a positive correlation between OPN and the expression of mt-P53 (rs=-0.720 and 0.722, P<0.05). There was a negative correlation between caspase-3 and mt-P53 expressions (rs=-0.556, P<0.05). Conclusion The higher the WHO classification, the higher the positive expression rates of OPN and mt-P53, while the lower the positive expression rate of caspase-3. The study reveals that OPN, caspase-3 and mt-P53 expressions are associated with the occurrence and the progress of gliomas. The combined detection of them can contribute to the judgment of biological behavior of gliomas.
