Objective To observe the curative effect of warm needling therapy combined with kidney-supplementing and blood-activating Chinese herbal medicine on patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis and its effects on immunoglobulin IgA, IgG and IgM;To explore the mechanism. Methods Ninety patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis were randomly divided into needle with medicine group, needle group and medicine group, 30 cases in each group. Patients in the needle with medicine group were treated with needle warming therapy combined with kidney-supplementing and blood-activating Chinese herbal medicine, patients in the needle group were treated with needle warming therapy, patients in the medicine group were treated with kidney-supplementing and blood-activating Chinese herbal medicine, 30 days for medicine and every other day for acupuncture. Five time acupuncture was one course of treatment, and patients were treated for 3 courses. Shoulder pain index was evaluated, and the levels of IgA, IgG and IgM was determined before and after 3 courses treatment. The total curative effect of the three groups were compared. Results The total effective rates for needle and medicine group, needle group and medicine group were 93.33% (28/30), 73.33% (22/30), 66.67% (20/30), respectively, with statistical significance between needle and medicine group and the other two groups (P<0.05),without statistical significance between needle group and medicine group (P>0.05). There was statistical significance between the shoulder indexes before and after treatment of the three groups (P<0.05). Before treatment, the levels of IgA, IgG and IgM of all three groups increased significantly compared with the normal reference values (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of IgA, IgG and IgM were reduced significantly in three groups after treatment (P<0.05), the levels of IgA, IgG and IgM in the needle and medicine group were significantly lower than those in the other two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion The curative effect of needle warming therapy combined with kidney-supplementing and blood-activating Chinese herbal medicine was better than alone needle warming therapy or kidney-supplementing and blood-activating Chinese herbal medicine. This combined therapy could significantly improve the symptoms of patients, reduce the levels of IgA, IgG and IgM, regulate the body immune function, which is probably one of the mechanisms in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis.

[Abstact] Purpose To investigate the value of apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) of diffusion weighted imaging (DW1) in the evaluation of the efficacy of treatment of nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI).Materials and Methods Nineteen patients with advanced NSCLC who treated with TKIs from May 2014 to December 2015 were recruited prospectively. All patients underwent CT and MRI scans three times before targeted therapy, after 1 week and 4 weeks of treatment. The tumor maximal diameter and mean ADC value at different time points were compared. The correlations between mean ADC value and tumor maximal diameter and maximum diameter change rate at different time points were analyzed.Bland-Altman analysis was performed to confirm the reproducibility of measurements. Results The ADC value after 1 week of treatment was significantly increased compared with that before treatment (t=-6.329,P<0.05),but the change of tumor maximal diameter was not significant (P>0.05).The ADC value was significantly increased after 4 weeks of treatment compared with that before treatment (t=-4.878,P<0.05),and the change of tumor maximal diameter was also significant (t=7.054,P<0.05).The negative correlation was detected between the ADC before treatment and the maximal diameter change ratio after 4 weeks of treatment (r2=-0.474,P<0.05).In the group of responders, there was significant difference between the ADC value before treatment and 1 week after treatment (P<0.05).There was significant difference in ADC value between the groups of responders and non-responders after 4 weeks of treatment (P<0.05).The Bland-Altman analysis showed good reproducibility among the operators. Conclusion The ADC value after 1 week of targeted therapy is more sensitive to the change of tumor than the maximal diameter, and the ADC value before treatment has a certain value in predicting the maximum diameters of the target after 4 weeks of targeted therapy with repeatability.

Objective To investigate regional homogeneity(ReHo)of brain in patients with irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)using resting-state functional MRI(rs-fMRI). Methods 23 patients with IBS and 23 age-,edu-cation-,and sex-matched normal healthy subjects(control group)were collected in our hospital from July 2015 to June 2016. All of them underwent rs-fMRI. The rs-fMRI data were analyzed with the regional homogeneity method. Results As compared with the control group ,the IBS group showed significantly increased ReHo values in the left occipital lobe, and decreased ReHo values in the right insular, the right superior temporal gyrus and bilateral middle frontal gyrus(P < 0.001). Conclusion One or more brains of the IBS patients showed significant differ-ences in the spontaneous neuronal activity compared with healthy controls.
