Objective To study the distribution characteristics of TCM constitutions of hormone-dependent breast cancer patients; To provide references for TCM diagnosis and treatment.Methods TCM constitution differentiation in the 210 patients with hormone-dependent breast cancer were investigated by a questionnaire survey, which is made according to the Classification and Determination of TCM Constitutions invented by professor Wang Qi and four methods of diagnosis of TCM, with a purpose to investigate the correlation of TCM constitutions and TCM syndrome differentiation typing.Results There was statistical significance among TCM constitutions of the 210 patients with hormone-dependent breast cancer (P<0.001), with yin deficiency 43.8% (92 cases), qi stagnation 15.2% (32 cases), qi deficiency 11.4% (24 cases), blood stasis 7.6% (16 cases), and yang deficiency 6.7% (14 cases). There was statistical significance among TCM syndromes (P<0.001), with dysfunction of Chong and Ren channels 63.8% (134 cases), stagnation of liver qi syndrome 16.2% (34 cases), weakness of the spleen and stomach syndrome 11.4% (24 cases). There was statistical significance between dysfunction of Chong and Ren channels and correlation of TCM constitutions (P<0.001).Conclusion Most hormone-dependent breast cancer patients are accompanied with yin deficiency pattern and the syndrome differentiation typing of dysfunction of Chong and Ren channels. There is correlation between dysfunction of Chong and Ren channels and TCM constitutions.

Objective To investigate the value of interphase fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH)technique and the detection of fusion gene in the diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia(AML)M2 and M3 Methods FISH was used to detect the AML1/ETO fusion gene and/or PML/RARα fusion gene in incipient cases including 9 AML-M2, 12 AML-M3 and 10 AML undetermined as AML-M2 or AML-M3 primarily diagnosed by routine morphology though bone marrow,cytochemical staining and immunophenotyping,which can help diagnose and guide clinical therapy.Results 4 of 9 AML-M2 cases were AML1/ETO positive.Among 12 AML-M3 cases,10 were PML/RARα positive.1 case was detected AML1/ETO fusion gene.In 10 untonfirmed M3 or M2,3 case8 showed AML1/ETO,5 showed PMIJRARot fusion gene and the rest showed neither of the genes.Conclusion As a new technique of the molecular genetics,FISH is accurate, rapid and efficient.It would be of significance not only at diagnosis of AML,but also for subsequent clinical decision-making.

Objective To observe the efficacy of breviscapine in the treatment of patients with acute cerebral infarction and its effect on serum neuron specific enolase(NSE), angiotensin-2(Ang-2) and interleukin-6(IL-6) levels.Methods 60 cases of acute cerebral infarction(ACI) patients from January 2014 to January 2015 in Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital were selected and randomly divided into two groups, 30 cases in each group.All patients were given conventional western medicine treatment , and the observation group were also treated with breviscapine.After 2 weeks, the degree of neural function defect scores and efficacy were compared and the serum levels of NSE , Ang-2 and IL-6 were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) and compared pre-and post-treatment between two groups.Results The degree of neural function defect score post-treatment in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group ( P<0.05 ).The overall response in observation group was 27 cases (90.00%), which was significantly higher than 20 cases(66.67%) in control group(χ2 =4.81,P<0.05).The serum levels of Ang-2, IL-6 and NSE post-treatment in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group ( P<0.05 ) .Conclusion The curative effect of breviscapine in treatment of acute cerebral infarction is significantly, which could improve the cerebral microcirculation, protect the brain tissue, and its mechanism may be through reducing the serum levels of NSE, IL-6 and Ang-2.

Objective To evaluate the value of 2D ultrasound and elastic strain ratio (SR) in diagnosis of thyroid nodule by fine needle aspiration (FNA).Methods 196 thyroid nodules were analyzed retrospectively with 2D ultrasound,elastography and FNA results,pathology results as the golden standard.A receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to identify the best cut-off point of SR.The Logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate the variables effectiveness on age,nodule echo,calcification and SR.Tried to discuss how to use SR before or after US-FNA in diagnosis of thyroid nodule.Results The SR of the malignant nodules group was significantly different from the benign nodules group,and the best cut-off point was 0.5 with sensitivity 91.7％,specificity 90.2 ％ and accuracy 90.8 ％.The Logistic analysis results were SR,age,echo,calcification according to the odds ratio.SR can screened nodules without puncture necessary before FNA,and increase the FNA sensitivity,specificity and accuracy after FNA.Conclusions SR has good application value in diagnosis thyroid malignant tumor.SR can reduce unnecessary FNA and make a supplementary diagnosis of FNA.

Objective To analyze the distribution of human papillomavirus (HPV) genotype in the diseases associated with HPV infection and explore the role of HPV genotype in these diseases. Methods Retrospective analysis was carried out to compare HPV genotypes of 353 outpatients suffering the diseases associated with HPV infection including cervical caner,cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN),genital duc condyloma,and subclinical cervical human papillomavirus infection (SPI) in our department from January to October 2008. HybriMax were used to detect HPV genotype. The distribution data of HPV genotype were statistically analyzed. Results Totally 176 HPV positive females were found with a positive rate of 49.86%. HPV positive rate in cervical cancer was 100%,and all of them were high risk HPV. Objective To summarize and discuss the diagnostic and treating experiences of chronic pancreatitis with mass in the head. Methods Eight patients of chronic pancreatitis with mass in the head who were misdiagnosised as carcinoma of head of pancreas were analyzed retrospectively in the past 10 years. Results All the patients exhibited abdominal pain,5 of whom were with jaundice and 3 with anorexia. All the patients were misdiagnosised as carcinoma of head of pancreas before the operation,but the pathology after operation indicated chronic pancreatitis. The pancreaticoduodenectomy was performed in 5 patients,the choledochojejunostomy in 2 patients,while the exploratory laparotomy in 1 patient. After the operations,the abdominal pain was relieved in 7 patients, while 2 patients who accepted pancreatoduodenectomy suffered from pancreatic fistula,1 of whom died in the end. Conclusion It’s hard to differentiate the chronic pancreatitis with mass in the head from the carcinoma of head of pancreas before operation. If the carcinoma of head of pancreas can’t be excluded during the operation,the pancreatoduodenectomy should be performed,while the duodenum-preserving total resection of the head of the pancreas or any intra-drainage operations should be done if chronic inflammation is found in the whole pancreas with a negative result of the biopsy of the pancreas through the needle aspiration.
