1.Effect of Kangfuxin Liquidon on gingiva groove liquid IL-1β, PGE2, sICAM-1in fixed orthodontic patients with gingivitis

Objective To analyze the effect of Kangfuxin Liquidon on gingiva groove liquid interleukin 1β(IL-1β), prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), soluble adhesion molecule-1 (sICAM)in fixed orthodontic patients with gingivitis. Methods 96 cases of patients with fixed orthodontic gingivitis consult the draw method were divided into control group and experimental group, 48 cases in each group. The control group were treatedby gums clean, experimental group based on the control group were treattedby Kangfuxin Liquidon. The IL-1β, PGE2, sICAM-1 levels, periodontal status, the grade of swelling and pain, the clinical curative effect were compared between two groups. Results After treatment, the IL-1β, PGE2, sICAM levels of experimental group were lower than the control group (10.54±1.41) ng/L vs.(11.85±1.71)ng/L, (284.62±35.21) ng/L vs.(314.65±39.48)ng/L, (150.49±18.11) μg/L vs.(162.83±20.26) μg/L,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The periodontal status, swelling and pain grading ofexperimental group were better than control group (P<0.05). Theeffective rate of experimental group was higher than the control group (95.83%vs.79.17%) (P<0.05). Conclusion Kangfuxin Liquidon can reduce fixed orthodontic patients with gingivitis gingiva groove IL-1β, PGE2, sICAM-1 levels, improve the periodontal status, relieve swelling and pain, improve the clinical curative effect.
3.The effects of delayed cord clamping in preterm infants: a meta-analysis

Objective To study the short-term effects of delayed cord clamping (DCC) in preterm infants.Method A thorough search was conducted on medical databases including Cochrane Library,PubMed,Ovid,Medline,VIP citation databases,Wanfang database and CNKI.Randomized control trials (RCTs) of DCC in preterm infants were retrieved from medical literature published during January 1,2000 to January 1,2016.DCC group had cord clamping 30 ~60 s after birth,and immediate cord clamping (ICC) group had cord clamping within 30 s after birth.Methodological quality was evaluated using Cochrane Handbook for systematic reviews and RevMan 5.1 software.Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.1 software.Result Seventeen RCTs were included.Meta-analysis showed that:the blood pressure within 4 hours after birth (WMD =2.49,95% CI 0.74 ~ 4.24),the hemoglobin concentration (WMD =15.92,95 % CI 6.37 ~ 25.47) and the hematocrit (WMD =4.84,95 % CI 3.47 ~ 6.22) within 24 hours after birth in the DCC group were higher than the ICC group,P <0.05;the risk of anemia (RR =0.62,95% CI 0.47 ~ 0.81),intraventricular hemorrhage (RR =0.64,95 % CI 0.45 ~ 0.91) and mortality (RR =0.42,95% CI 0.20 ~0.86) in the DCC group were lower than the ICC group,P <0.05;there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in peak of serum bilirubin,phototherapy duration,rate of phototherapy treatment and blood transfusion,the incidence of hyperbilirubinemia and polycythemia (P > 0.05).Conclusion DCC is safe and feasible for premature infants,and can improve the outcome of premature infants.

Ureaplasma urealyticum(UU)is one of the most common pathogen in childbearing age women.The proportion of neonate especially premature baby infected with UU is increasing yearly.UU infaction is related with premature labour,low birth weight,bronchopulmonary dysplasia,chronic lung disease,respiratory distress syndrome and other perinatal diseases by promoted the expression of inflammatory cytokines,increasing the inflammatory response and interfering inflammation clear.There still has controversial point to treat perinatal diseases caused by UU infection by erythromycin,azithromycin,pulmonary surfactant,steroid.
6.Optimization of the Formula and Preparation Technology of Demethoxycurcumin Nano-structured Lipid Carriers

Objective:To screen the optimal formula and technology of demethoxycurcumin nano-structured lipid carriers. Meth-ods:The encapsulation efficiency as the main investigation index, the single factor exploration and orthogonal design were used to study the main factors affecting the quality of the nanoparticles. The optimal formula and technology were obtained. Results:The optimized parameters were as follows:the ratio of drug to lipid materials was 1 ∶40, the ratio of liquid lipid to total lipid materials was 10%, the amount of surfactants was 4% and the amount of lecithin was 2%. The prepared nanoparticles were spheric and regular. The size dis-tribution of the nanoparticles was narrow with the average particle size of 110nm and PDI of 0. 199. Conclusion:The optimized formula and technology of demethoxycurcumin nano-structured lipid carriers are stable and practicable,which provide reference for the further research of demethoxycurcumin.

8.Study on differentially expressed genes in papillary thyroid carcinoma by cDNA microarray

Objective To screen the differentially expressed genes between papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) and normal thyroid tissues using cDNA microarray. Methods mRNA from both PTC and normal thyroid tissues were reversely transcribed to cDNAs with the incorporation of fluorescent dUTP (Cy-5 or Cy-3) to prepare the hybridization probes. The mixed probes were hybridized to the cDNA microarray, which was scanned for the fluorescent signals and showed difference between two tissues. Two among the differentially expressed genes were verified by RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry. Results In PTC 48 genes were upregulated while 17 were downregulated. The results of RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry were consistent with that of the gene chips. Conclusion cDNA microarray technique is effective in screening the differentially expressed genes between 2 different kinds of tissue. The obtained genes are mainly related with extracellular matrix, cytokine, signal transduction and so on.
9.Effects of hypoglycemia index and hypoglycemia loaded diet on oxidative stress and anthropometric parameters in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Objective To evaluate the effects of low blood sugar production index (LGI) combined with low blood sugar production burden (LGL) dietary intervention on blood glucose, oxidative stress and anthropometric indicators in type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 150 cases of type 2 diabetes were randomly divided into two groups,maintain the original treatment plan of two groups,75 patients in the control group were given traditional food interchange method for dietary intervention;the experimental group of 75 patients, provide food education based on LGI+LGI food exchange method , the time period of 3 months. Fasting blood glucose (FPG)、2h postprandial blood glucose (2hPG), Glycated hemoglobin (HbAlc), Superoxide dismutase (SOD), Malondialdehyde (MDA), Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Body Mass Index (BMI), Waist circumference (WC) Upper arm muscle circumference (AMC), Triceps skin fold thickness (TSF) were observed before and after the intervention. Results There were no significant differences in blood glucose, oxidative stress and anthropometry between the two groups (P>0.05). After intervention, in the control group: FPG, 2hPG, HbAlc, SOD, MDA, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, BMI, WC, AMC, TSF were (10.27 ± 2.67) mmol/L, (11.51 ± 2.54) mmol/L, (8.78 ± 1.95)%, (322.73 ± 51.97) kU/L, (5.80 ± 1.76)μmol/L, (40.78±4.86)μmol/L, (19.33±4.79)μmol/L, (23.94±3.18) kg/m2, (89.57±10.23) cm, (24.10± 3.01) cm, (18.38 ± 3.79)mm respectively. In the experimental group: they were (8.76 ± 2.77) mmol/L, (10.63 ± 1.76) mmol/L, (7.96 ± 1.86)%, (357.29 ± 60.04) kU/L, (5.26 ± 1.33)μmol/L, (44.01 ± 7.06)μmol/L, (21.58 ± 5.25) μmol/L, (22.93 ± 2.75) kg/m2, (86.05 ± 10.79) cm, (22.75 ± 2.86) cm, (16.98 ± 4.48) mm respectively. There was significant difference between the two groups after intervention (t=2.049-3.769, all P < 0.05). In the experimental group, the improvement of blood sugar, oxidative stress and anthropometry was better than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusions LGI combined with LGL diet intervention is better than the traditional method of food interchange, the blood glucose, oxidative stress and anthropometric indicators have improved, which can improve treatment efficacy in type 2 diabetes and easy for home self-management.
10.Changes of the alpha competitive structure after administration of single dose methylphenidate in different subtypes of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder boys

Objective:To investigate methylphenidate response to different subtypes of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) boys by measuring the changes of the alpha competitive structure after administration of single dose of methylphenidate,explore the neuropathological mechanism and search for the sensitive index to predict methylphenidate response in this disorder.Methods:The study involved 88 ADHD boys(40 ADHD-C boys,48 ADHD-I boys) who met the DSM-Ⅳ diagnostic criteria of ADHD,and their continuous Electroencephalogram(EEG) data collected before and 2 hours after taking methylphenidate(10 mg) were analyzed with EEG-encephaloflutuographic technology(EEG-ET).Results:After taking methylphenidate,(1) The main frequency of alpha band obviously increased in ADHD-C boys and ADHD-I boys(from 9.05?0.96 Hz up to 9.72?0.99 Hz,P=0.000;from 8.90?0.93 Hz up to 9.25?0.86 Hz,P=0.002;separately),especially in ADHD-C boy group(Z=-2.111,P=0.035).(2) The dominant probability of 8 Hz was significantly decreased in ADHD-C boys and ADHD-I boys(from 24.34%?12.70% down to 20.74%?12.46%,P=0.002;from 28.82%?12.51% down to 25.64%?12.176%,P=0.003;separately).There was no significant difference in the changes of the dominant probability of 8 Hz between the two ADHD groups(Z=-0.494,P= 0.621).(3)The entropy value was significantly decreased in ADHD-I boys group(from 0.74?0.10 down to 0.70?0.13,t =3.579,P=0.001).There was no significant difference in the changes of the entropy value between the two ADHD groups(Z=-1.131 P= 0.258).Conclusion:After administra-tion of single dose of methylphenidate,slow ? wave decreased in ADHD boys,especially in ADHD-Cboy group;Single dose of methylphenidate can ameliorate the brain self-organization of ADHD-I boys.These findings suggest that the main frequency of alpha band may be the sensitive index to predict methylphenidate response in ADHD.
