1.Detection on expression levels of mazE F toxin-antitoxin system in Mycobacterium tuberculosis by qRT-PCR

We investigate the different expression of toxin gene mazF3,6,9 and antitoxin gene mazE3,6,9 in the drug-resistance Mycobacterium tuberculosis,we used quantitative real-time polymerase chin reaction method to detect the expression level of toxin gene mazF3,6,9 and antitoxin gene mazE3,6,9 in M.tuberculosis (20 mono-resistance strains,20 multidrug resistance strains and standard strain H37Rv).The differences of gene expression levels between groups were analyzed by oneway ANOVA.Contrasting with control group,toxin genes mazF6,9 were up-regulated expression levels both in mono-resistance (11.1519±22.31721;8.4306±17.97897) and multidrug resistance (4.6016±1.29018;6.9627±6.92948),had statistical significance (P<0.01),mazF3 expression levels had statistical significance neither in mono-resistance nor in multidrug resistance (P>0.05);antitoxin genes mazE3 was in down-expression level,and had statistical significance both in mono-resistance (0.3606±0.12527) and multidrug resistance (0.2016±0.16542) (P<0.01),mazE6 had no statistical significance (P>0.05)either in mono-resistance or multi drug resistance,mazE9 only in multidrug resistance(0.3989±0.37679) was in downexpression level,and has statistical significance (P<0.001).The toxin gene mazF6,9 and antitoxin gene mazE3,9 may participate in the drug-resistance formation of M.tuberculosis.
2.Application of lateral thoracic wall vascular pedicled composite tissue flap in breast conserving surgery and remodeling breast shape

Objective To introduce a breast conserving surgery for reconstruction of breast shape and to demonstrate the postoperative effect.Methods Ten patients were treated with this method from Apr.2016 to Dec.2017,and the lateral thoracic wall arteriovenous vessels were used as vascular pedicle to transfer the distal compound tissue flap of the blood vessel to repair the breast defect remnant cavity which was formed after the breast conserving surgery,and a good shape was obtained.Results All the 10 cases were successfully completed.The intraoperative bleeding was 20 to 30 ml.The operative time was 2 to 3 hours.No blood transfusion was needed.The average hospital stay was 11.5 days,ranging from 10 to 15 days.No infection happened to the incision.All the 10 patients were followed up from 2 to 20 months,with 11 months as the average.No limb edema,asymmetry or local recurrence happened.Conclusion The operation method is effective,safe and economical for patients with large swelling but strong desire to conserve breast.
3.Association between parental control, peer relationship and aggressive behavior in junior high school students

Objective:
To understand the interrelationships of parental control, peer relationship, and aggressive behavior in junior high school students, in order to provide a theoretical basis for preventing the occurrence of adolescent aggressive behavior.
Methods:
During June to July, 2022, 2 564 students of grade one to grade three were selected from 6 junior high schools from each of Suzhou and Xuancheng cities in Anhui Province by using convenient cluster random sampling method, and then the questionnaire survey was administered, including the Chinese version of Parent Control Questionnaire, Chinese version of Buss & Perry Aggression Questionnaire and Adolescent Peer Relationship Questionnaire.
Results:
Boys scored (185.31±27.49, 21.65±7.43, 21.77 ±8.18, 69.50±11.41, 72.39±11.53) higher than girls (178.21±25.13, 20.08±7.09, 20.61±7.62, 66.56± 11.14 , 70.95± 11.84 ) in parental control, father s psychological control, mother s psychological control, father s behavioral control, and mother s behavioral control ( t =8.63, 5.47, 3.70, 6.60, 3.12), while girls scored (48.41±11.26) higher in peer relationship than boys ( 47.13 ± 10.84 ) ( t =-2.95) ( P <0.01). The scores of first grade students in parental control, father s psychological control, mother s psychological control, father s behavior control, peer relationship, and aggressive behavior (184.67±27.18, 21.83± 7.29 , 22.15±8.07, 68.81±10.95, 50.21±9.57, 80.23±17.66) were higher than those of second gradestudents (180.98±25.46, 20.16±7.82, 20.21±7.55, 68.29±11.69, 45.47±11.67, 74.08±17.70) and third grade students (179.21±26.79, 20.53±7.22, 21.17 ± 8.06 , 66.81± 11.39 , 47.54±11.43, 75.75±16.29) ( F =9.44, 12.87, 13.61, 6.84, 42.85, 30.40, P <0.01). The scores of parental control and peer relationship were positively correlated with the scores of aggressive behavior ( r=0.22, 0.47, P <0.01). Peer relationship partially mediate the relationship between parental control and aggressive behavior, with a partial mediation effect value of 0.04, accounting for 26.39% of the total effect of parental control on aggressive behavior.
Conclusions
High parental control and poor peer relationship are both positively correlated with the level of aggressive behavior. The peer relationship of teenagers should be improved by establishing appropriate parenting style, tackling campus violence, and maintaining good social norms, in order to reduce the occurrence of aggressive behavior among adolescents.
4.Inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptors and neurodegenerative diseases

Inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor (IP3R),which is a calcium ion (Ca2+) channel in the endoplasmic reticulum,participates in cellular biological functions through regulating the Ca2+ signal,and it is a key molecule in maintaining the normal function of the central nervous system. In recent years,more and more studies have found that the structural and functional abnormalities of IP3Rs are closely related to the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease,Parkinson disease,Huntington disease,and spinocerebellar ataxia. However,it remains unclear how these structural and functional abnormalities affect the function of IP3Rs and the related calcium signal as well as the pathogenesis and severity of neurodegenerative diseases. This paper reviews the role of IP3Rs in neurodegenerative diseases.
5.Effect of traditional Chinese medicine on portal vein thrombosis in patients with liver cirrhosis and its medication characteristics

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) on portal vein thrombosis (PVT) in patients with liver cirrhosis and its medication characteristics. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed for 89 patients with liver cirrhosis and PVT who were hospitalized and treated in Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and according to whether TCM treatment was applied in combination, they were divided into TCM group with 59 patients and control group with 30 patients. Related data were collected for the two groups, including demographic data, laboratory examination, radiological examination, gastroscopy, history of surgery, portal hypertension-related complications, medication, and follow-up data. The independent samples t -test was used for comparison of normally distributed continuous data between two groups, and the Mann-Whitney U rank sum test was used for comparison of non-normally distributed continuous data between two groups; the chi-square test or the Fisher's exact test was used for comparison of categorical data between two groups. An ordinal polytomous Logistic regression analysis was used for multivariate analysis. TCM Inheritance Computing Platform (V3.0) was used to perform a drug effect cluster analysis of TCM prescriptions. Results The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that esophageal and gastric varices (odds ratio [ OR ]=3.144, 95% confidence interval [ CI ]: 1.221-8.094), PVT involving the portal vein (PV) and the superior mesenteric vein (SMV) ( OR =51.667, 95% CI : 3.536-754.859), PVT involving PV+spleen vein (SV)+SMV ( OR =13.271, 95% CI : 2.290-76.928), cavernous transformation of the portal vein ( OR =11.896, 95% CI : 1.172-120.696), and TCM intervention ( OR =0.348, 95% CI : 0.129-0.938) were influencing factors for the outcome of PVT in liver cirrhosis. Follow-up results showed that compared with the control group, the TCM group had a significantly lower progression rate (16.95% vs 56.67%, P < 0.001) and a significantly lower incidence rate of variceal rupture and bleeding (8.47% vs 33.33%, P < 0.001). Effective TCM drugs with a relatively high frequency of use included deficiency-tonifying drugs (359 times, 34.6%), blood-activating and stasis-resolving drugs (202 times, 19.5%), and diuresis-inducing and dampness-draining drugs (180 times, 17.3%); the TCM drugs with a relatively high frequency of use included Astragalus membranaceus (57 times, 8.7%), Angelica sinensis (50 times, 7.6%), and leech (48 times, 7.3%); TCM drug combinations with a relatively high frequency of use included Astragalus membranaceus+Angelica sinensis, Astragalus membranaceus+leech, Angelica sinensis+leech, and Astragalus membranaceus+Angelica sinensis+leech. Conclusion Qi-tonifying, blood-activating, and stasis-breaking drugs, such as Astragalus membranaceus, Angelica sinensis, and leech, can promote the stabilization or recanalization of PVT in liver cirrhosis and reduce the incidence rate of bleeding events due to portal hypertension.
