1.Analysis of Clinical cases of Children Mycoplasma Pneumonia complicated with Cardiac Damage.

Objective To analyze the characteristics of clinical cases of children mycoplasma pneumonia (CMP) complicated by cardiac damage. Methods Eighten cases of CMP (MP group) and eighten children without CMP (NMP group) were selected to do electrocardiogram (ECG) and to evaluate serum myocardium zymogram. Results Compared with NMP group, MP group showed high incidence rate of abnormal electrocardiographic pattern, suach as ST - T change, sinus tachycardia, premature beat and high serum level of LDH,CK - MB,HBDH. Both presented statistical difference. Conclusion CMP easily causes cardiac damage of children.
2.The application of OCT in the diagnosis of congenital macular coloboma

Objective To investigate the characteristic of OCT images of congenital macular coloboma and its utility in the diagnosis of the diseases. Methods Seven patients (9 eyes) with congenital macular coloboma who had been examined by visual acuity determination, slit lamp examination, ophthalmoscope and fluorescein angiography received OCT scan and fundus color photography. The results were retrospectively analyzed. Results The manifestation of congenital macular coloboma by OCT was the retinal and choroidal tissues focally pitted outwards along with sclera. The 3 dimensions of pit: horizontal diameter 668- 4 339 ?m ( 3 119 in average), vertical length 668- 4 531 ?m ( 2 591 in average), pits depth 230-2 146?m(1 084 in average).The retinal neurosensory layer became thin and defect. And the retinal neurosensory layer was thinner in the centre than that near the edge. Reflection of retinal pigment epithelium was uneven and discontinued. The dark area of choroid was enlarged. Conclusions It can be clearly shown by OCT that abnormal structure of retina and out layer of choroid in congenital macular coloboma. It is implied that the characteristic of OCT is helpful in the diagnosis of congenital macular coloboma.
3.Comparison of umbilical single hole laparoscopic and traditional three holes laparoscopic surgery in ovarian cyst

Objective To compare the clinical effect of the umbilical single hole laparoscopic and traditional three holes laparoscopic surgery in ovarian cyst. Methods 90 patients with ovarian cyst surgery were selected, and ran-domly divided into observation group and control group with 45 patients in each group. The control group was given traditional three holes laparoscopic surgery, and the observation group received single hole laparoscopic surgery. Clinical effect, postoperative complications, ovarian function, aesthetic satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The differences of operative time, blood loss, postoperative exhaust time, postoperative hospital stay between the two groups has no statistical difference ( > 0.05), the postoperative pain in 24 h, 72 h in the observa-tion group were significantly lower than that in control group, with significant difference ( < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups ( >0.05). The contents of FSH and LH in the two groups were significantly improved, and the content of E2 was significantly decreased af-ter postoperative 30 days, compared with the preoperative, and the difference were statistically significant ( <0.05). There was no significant difference in LH, FSH and E2 level in the two groups before operation ( >0.05), and there was no significant difference in the content of LH, FSH and E2 between the two groups ( > 0.05). The total satis-faction of the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( <0.05). Conclusion Single hole laparoscopic surgery is adapted to the treatment of patients with ovari-an cyst on the basis of the same effect. Not only reduced the pain, but also improved the patients' satisfaction degree of the incision. It is worthy of clinical promotion.
4.Reliability of Home Blood Pressure Measurement

Objective To verify the reliability of home blood pressure measurement in clinic and research works by comparison three methods[home(H),office(O) and ambulatory(A)]of blood pressure(BP) measurements. Methods The"study-effects of salt substitution on blood pressure among the hypertensive patients and their families"was a randomized,double blinded control trial.In this study,BP was measured in 220 hypertensive patients using office,home and ambulatory BP measurements concurrently at the baseline and the end of the intervention. Two hundred seventeen patients had baseline eligible data,while at the end of the intervention,only 189 patients had eligible data.Bland-Altman method and Person's correlation analysis were used to compare the agreement of BP levels by 3 methods,and McNemar chi-square test compared rates of the agreement,assuming the ambulatory as the reference.Results The mean BP levels using office,ambulatory and home BP measurements were 149.5?16.4/87.2?9.5 mm Hg,137.8?17.1/83.2?10.3 mm Hg,and 138.0?14.2/82.4?9.3 mm Hg,respectively. H BP was more strongly related with ambulatory BP(SBP/DBP)(H:r=0.55/0.62 vs O:r= 0.36/0.46).The difference of BP between H and A was smaller[H:A—0.2 mm Hg/—0.7 mm Hg vs O:A(ll.7 mm Hg/4.0 mm Hg)].Intra-individual agreement between H and A SBP was significantly higher than that between O and A(28.3%vs 16.5%for≤|5| mm Hg and 49.7%vs 33.5%for≤|10| mm Hg,all P0.05).Conclusion Home and ambulatory BP was more strongly related and better agreement than office-ambulatory BP measurement.

Objective To investigate the development and metastasis of malignant choroidal melanoma cell strain OCM-1-gfp modified with green fluorescent protein(GFP) and the factors which affected the tumor biological behaviors. Methods GFP was transfected into malignant melanoma cell strain OCM-1.Melanoma cells with high and stable expression of GFP were injected into subretinal space and the subcutaneous space of hind leg of Balb/c nude mouse respectively in order to establish orthotopic and heterotopic transplanted tumor models.The development and metastasis process of orthotopic tumor models was observed directly by fluorescence microscope,and the size of the hypodermal tumor was measured by vernier.The expressions of 13 genes in melanoma were detected by means of immunohistochemistry staining. Results Malignant choroidal melanoma cell strain OCM-1 stably expressed GFP and preserved the characteristics of parental generation,OCM-1-gfp may develop melanoma and continue to metastasize in nude mouse.Positive expression of most of the antibodies,including Rb,p53,p21,E_2F,NF?B,cyclin D1,proliferation cellular nuclear antigen(PCNA),bcl-2、bcl-XL/S,bax,and epithelial growth factor(EGF)and its receptor(EGFR),was found.While the staining of inhibition gene p16 was negative. Conclusions GFP is the marker for observing the development and metastasis of malignant choroidal melanoma in vivo.The rate of tumor formation and development process in orthotopic models does not differs much from which in heterotopic models of malignant choroidal melanoma.The expressions of lots of genes in malignant choroidal melanoma developed from OCM-1-gfp including p16、p53、NF?B,cyclin D,PCNA,EGF,and EGFR are abnormal.
8.Optimization of Extraction Technology of Cistanche tubulosa by Orthogonal Test

OBJECTIVE:To optimize the extraction technology of Cistanche tubulosa.METHODS:The extract technology of C.tubulosa was optimized by orthogonal test with solid-liquid ratio,extraction time and extraction times as factors and with the yield of phenylethanoid glycosides as index.RESULTS:The optimal extraction condition for C.tubulosa was as follows:the solid-liquid ratio was 1∶15;the reflux extraction was conducted for 3 times(1 hour each time).CONCLUSION:The optimized technology is characterized by lowcost,good safety,short production cycle and high yield,and it serves as guidance for the macro-production of preparations of C.tubulosa.
9.DHA and AA Contents in Breast Milk

Objective In order to know the fatty acid content of breast milk in different regions of China. Methods The fatty acid composition of breast milk from 109 lactating women in three regions was analyzed by capillary gas chromatography. Twenty-seven milk samples were obtained from Shanghai urban, 15 samples from Shanghai suburb(Chongming county) and 67 samples from Zhoushan island of Zhejiang province. Results The contents of linoleic acid(LA) and ?-linolenic acid(LNA) in the mature breast milk from Shanghai urban women were (29?6)% and (2.8?0.7)%, respectively, which were significantly higher than that from Shanghai suburb women[LA, (20?3)% and LNA,(2.7?0.8)%] and Zhoushan island women[(20?3)% and (2.5? 0.6)%], whereasthe DHA content of the breast milk from Zhoushan women was (0.61?0.21)%, which was significantly higher than that from Shanghai urban women[(0.51?0.25)%, P
10.Effect of intravitreal injection of FK506 on the survival of heteroplastic retinal pigment epithelial cells

Objective To investigate effect of intravitreal injection of FK506 on the survival of human retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells heteroplastically transplanted into the subretinal space of rabbits. Methods The immortalized human RPE cells were genetically labeled by retrovirus vector carrying a green fluorescent protein (GFP). A total of 50 ?l RPE cells suspension with 4?10 3 cells/?l which expressed GFP were injected into the subretinal space of both eyes of 18 white rabbits and 10 gray rabbits. The left eyes of all of the rabbits were injected of 5 ?l FK506 (5 ?g/?l) intravitreally once a week during the first 5 weeks, then once every other week until the 20 th week and the right eyes were as the control. The histological sections of heteroplastic RPE cells were observed by epifluorescent microscope. Results GFP-expressing cells could be seen after 1 week, 2, 3, 4, 6, 10, 11, 14, 18, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 33, and 54 weeks in white rabbits and after 4, 5, 6, 7, 14, 18, 20, and 26 weeks in gray rabbits. The configuration and integrality of the RPE-GFP cells in the left eyes which had been intravitreally injected of FK506 1-14 weeks after transplantation were better than those in the right eyes without injection. After 18 weeks, the condition of heteroplastic cells with few difference in both eyes in 7 white and 3 gray rabbits were found. After 1-6 weeks, focal and disseminated lymphocytes around the choroidal small vessles of right eyes in 6 white and 3 gray rabbits could be seen while the infiltration of the lymphocytes in the left eyes was much reduced. Conclusion Intravitreal injection of a small amount of FK506 at the first 3 months after transplantation may significantly improve the survival of heteroplastic RPE cells in the subretinal space of rabbits.
