Objective To improve the level of diagnosis and treatment of acute appendicitis in leukemia.Method 17 cases of acute appendicitis in leukemia that were treated from 1980 to 2002 were reviewed.Result All 17 cases underwent appendectomy,16 survived the immediate postoperative period, only one died. Conclusions Leukemia were predisposed to acute appendicitis than normal during chemotherapy period and our experience supports the surgical management of acute appendicitis in leukemia.Because immunosuppression and thrombocytopenia were the main causes of additional surgical dangers, relative methods should be applied in perioperation period. The complications of incision were common,so the observation of incision should be emphasized.

Objective To analyze the imaging features of primary pulmonary hemangiopericytoma, and to provide a helpful method for clinical diagnosis. Methods Retrospectively analyze the CT and MRI characteristics of 3 cases with pathologically proved primary pulmonary hemangiopericytomas. Results All cases manifested as solitary massive tumors. On plain CT scans, the tumors were heterogeneous, well and sharply circumscribed. On contrast-enhanced CT scans, the tumors were apparently enhanced and the abnormally enhanced vasculars could be seen.On MRI scans, the tumors had inhomogeneous signal intensity and the vascular flowing-void effect could be seen. Conclusion Solitary tumor of massive volume, abnormally enhanced vasculars on contrast-enhanced CT and the vascular flowing-void effect on MRI are imaging features of primary pulmonary hemangiopericytomas.

OBJECTIVEThe work presented here was to research into a kind of automatic control system that would be automatically linked to the working status of electronic endoscope.
METHODSThe image video output signal and signal of negative pressure sensor were used to be a sampling signal of automatic control circuit. An electronic switch of automatic control circuit was challenged the manual control device of the negative pressure system.
RESULTSThis system simplifies the operation procedures, enhances work efficiency, reduces energy consumption and improves the service life of the machine.
CONCLUSIONThe paper concludes that this negative pressure automatic control system has many strengths like stable performance, easy installation and strong versatility. It also can be widely applied in different brand and different types of electronic endoscope in China.

Objective:
To analyze the differentially expressed microRNA (miRNA) and their target genes in peripheral blood and bone tissue of postmenopausal osteoporosis (PMOP), and provide basis for the study of pathogenesis as well as biomarkers identification of PMOP.
Methods:
Two miRNA datasets of PMOP from the public platform NCBI-GEO DataSets were obtained, including GSE64433 (the miRNA expression profile of peripheral blood samples, including 23 PMOP patients and 25 controls) and GSE74209 (the miRNA expression profile of the femoral neck bone tissue sample, including six PMOP patients and six controls). R/Bioconductor was performed for data analysis and differentially expressed miRNA screening, and miRNAs with fold change>2 &
