Objective To investigate the efficacy of steroid spray nose treated in child with chronic nasosi- nusitis. Methods 161 cases who were examined a patient of the 5~14 years old child of a chronicⅠtype nasosi- nusitis were divided into two groups,A group 92 cases, spray with the steroid spray nose+the complex treatment.B group 69 cases, only uses the complex treatment,a month of the course of treatment, two groups of all match with the nasal sinuses to douche. Results All cases were followed-up for at least 6 months. In A group,71 cases were cured,13 cases turned for the better,8 was invalid.Total efficient rate was 91.3 %.In 13 group,40 cases were cured, 13 cases turned for the better,16 was invalid. The efficient rate was 76.8 %.The A group obviously surpassed the B group(P
2.Effect of ultraviolet C irradiation on the expression of basic fibroblast growth factor in gunshot wounds in limbs
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the effect of different irradiation doses of ultraviolet C ray(UVC)on the expression of basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF)in granulation tissue of gunshot wound in rabbit limbs. Methods After giving 30mJ/cm2 or 60mJ/cm2 UVC to the gunshot wound of soft tissue of limbs, the expression of bFGF was observed both at the mRNA level and the protein level by the methods of in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry, respectively. Results On the 7th day after UVC irradiation, the expression of bFGF in UVC-treated groups was significantly higher than that in control group(P

Objective To explore the value of echo-tracking technique in the detecting the ipsilateral external iliac artery elasticity after gunshot wound in pig limbs. Methods Two-dimensional ultrasound imagings and elasticity parameters of external iliac artery of fifteen pig limbs were obtained respectively, and the results were compared with pre-injury groups. The animals were sacrificed after ultrasonography.Pathological examinations of adjacent external iliac artery of injured pig limbs were analyzed. Results Two-dimensional ultrasound imagings of external iliac arteries had no significant changes post-injury.The changes of elasticity parameters were significiant differences in the injured group comparing with the pre-injured group (P <0.05),including the increased stiffness parameter(β),pressure-strain elasticity modulus (Ep)and the decreased arterial compliance(AC).Pathological result showed that the internal elastic lamina of artery detected were flat, endothelial cells came off discontinuously and structure of them were undefined. Conclusions Echo-tracking technique can find the elastic changes of adjacent artery indirect injured by gunshot wound sensitively and which can suggest the occurrence of vascular indirect injury.

Nicotiana tabacum is an important and classical model plant which can respond to the change of environmental conditions by accumulating osmoprotectants, such as glycerol and proline which contribute to the re-establishment of homeostasis when exposed to various adverse environmental stresses, such as drought, salinity, high and low temperatures. The optimization of ultrasonic extraction (UE) conditions of glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GPDH) of tobacco leaf have been built by orthogonal test. It showed that optimum of the powers, treatment times, slot times and leaf-to-solvent ratios of UE was 75w, 2h, 2s, and 1[DK]∶12 g/ml, respectively. Under these conditions, the activity of GPDH has been tested as 0.3937U/mg protein, which was higher than other extraction methods such as liquid nitrogen and grinding on ice bath. According to investigation, it is the first description of determination of content of GPDH with ultrasonic in tobacco. It could provide basis for the further research in the relation of content of glycerol and osmotic pressure in tobacco.

Examination is an important element of educational reform that is focusing on quality education.Various ways have been tried out to reform examination system in the teaching of Medical Cytobiology process in the five-year program of nursing specialty. The teaching effect was assessed by comparing integrated results. The results indicated that the result of the class apply- ing the reform was superior to the contrast.

OBJECTIVETo study the extraction technology with CO2 supercritical fluid in Chinese Traditional Medicine by extracting the anthraquinones ingredients from Salvia miltiorrhiza and Polygonum caspidatum.
METHODExtractions were made under different pressure, temperature, extraction time, entrainer, and the extracts were analyzied by TLC and HPLC.
RESULTThe technology could be used in extraction and isolation. Under certain conditions, different contents of the extracts could be obtained.
CONCLUSIONCO2 supercritical fluid is good at extracing low polarity ingredients, and it shows the evident individurity in extraction of Chinese herb. The technological factors in industrial usage must be thought of all over.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effects of free and pedicled thoracodorsal artery perforator (TDAP) flaps for repairing skin and soft tissue defects in limbs, neck, axillary and shoulder.
METHODSFrom October 2009 to Auguest 2011, 16 TDAP flaps were used to repair skin and tissue defects. Among them, five ipsilateral pedicled flaps were used to repair wounds in neck, axillary and shoulder. 11 free TDAP flaps were used to repair the wounds with bone or tendon exposure. In 12 cases, the flaps were pedicled with thoracodorsal artery and vein-lateral branches-perforators, in 4 cases, pedicled with thoracodorsal artery and vein-serratus anterior muscular branches-perforators. The deep fascia, the latissimus dorsi and thoracodorsal nerve were not included in all flaps. The flaps size ranged from 10 cm x 5 cm to 26 cm x 10 cm.
RESULTSAll 16 flaps survived completely with primary healing both at donor site and recipent area. After a follow-up of 3 to 24 months, all flaps gained good texture and appearance. Only linear scar was left at donor area. The shoulder could move freely.
CONCLUSIONSTDAP flap has good texture, long vascular pedicle, and reliable blood supply, leaving less morbidity at donor site. The latissimus dorsi and thoracodorsal nerve are also preserved. The pedicled TDAP flap is an ideal flap for repairing the ipsilateral skin and soft tissue defects of the neck, shoulder, axillary. The free TDAP flap is suited for repairing skin and soft tissue defects of the extremities.
