?Boston Type l keratoprosthesis is currently widely used. ln this article, the indication, number of cases, best-corrected visual acuity ( BCVA ) , retention, and complications in all the international published case reports will be sum up; then the main post-operative complications and their respective treatments one by one, which include retrospective membrane, glaucoma, infection will be introduced.

OBJECTIVE: To establish a staging standard for a transplanted hepatoma model in rats, which may be equivalent to the human primary liver cancer. METHODS: A transplanted hepatoma model was made in SD rats by implantation of histologically intact Walker-256 tumor fragment into the left lateral lobe of the liver. The body weight, tumor volume and serum albumin level of the rats were measured and assayed in different periods. Pathological sections were also fabricated to detect the invasion and metastasis of the neighboring tissues. RESULTS: The body weight loss and ascites occurred at the 12th and 18th day separately. The serum albumin level was (35.32+/-2.45) g/L at the 11th day, which showed no statistical difference as compared with the healthy rats (P>0.05), and the albumin level at the 18th day was significantly lower than that at the 11th day (P<0.05). At the 23rd day, 56.25% of the rats developed bloody ascites. CONCLUSION: The period between 5-11 days in the model rats may be correspondent to the early stage of human primary liver cancer, and the biological behavior of the model rats at the18th day may be correspondent to the late stage of human primary liver cancer. This staging standard might be the guideline for model selection in experimental study of primary liver cancer.

In the past decades, epidemiological trends of the gastric cancer and esophagogastric junction (EGJ) cancer have changed all over the world. The morbidity and mortality of gastric cancer is on the decline, while the incidence and mortality of EGJ cancer is on the rise. This article summarizes the pathological types and the descriptive epidemiology, including the incidence, mortality, survival rate and its tendency in different gastric cancers and EGJ cancer. It also discusses the influencing factors of gastric cancer and EGJ cancer including environmental and genetic factors, which provides new ideas for the further study of the two kinds of cancers.

Objective To sum up the measures for nursing 14 patients with bowel endometriosis(BE).Method Toally 14 BE patients hospitalized in our hospital during January 2009 to January 2016 were treated,with nursing care including:preoperative mental care and bowel preparation,and postoperative close observations to the incisions,dieting guidance and observations and treatment of the complications,and corresponding health education.Result The incisions of all the patients were well healed and the bowel function was restored.Conclusion Such nursing measures as preoperative mental care and bowel preparation,and postoperative close observations to the incisions,dieting guidance and observations and treatment of the complications,and corresponding health education.

AIM: To establish an HPLC-MS for determining seven bioactive components,including vanillin ferulaic acid,ligustrazine,senkyunolid I,H,and A,and ligustilide in Ligusticum chuanxiong Hort. . METHODS: The bioactive components were extracted by ultrasonic method,and then were separated by reverse HPLC,and finally were determined by the multiple reaction mode of MS. RESULTS: The detected limits of the seven bioactive components such as vanillin were 40,20,80,20,10,60 and 50 ng/mL,respectively. Their linear range were 1450,4-490,1-625,2-360,2-700,1-244 and 21-210 ?g/mL,respectively. The average contents of the above components in Ligusticum chuanxiong Hort. were 0. 12,0. 25,0. 41,0. 99,0. 30,8. 96 and 11. 25 mg/g,respectively. CONCLUSION: The proposed method has the characteristic of simplicity,rapidty and high sensitivity. It could be used in analyzing the whole components of Ligusticum chuanxiong Hort. .

Objective To elucidate the differences between invasive micropapillary carcinoma (IMPC) and invasive ductal carcinoma(IDC),and explore the clinicopathological and immunohistochemistry characteristics of invasive micropapillary carcinoma of the breast.Methods Invasive micropapillary carcinoma was identified in 51 patients by retrospective review of database from October 2004 to November 2007.Data were compared with 102 patients identified as invasive ductal carcinoma available in this hospital during the same period.Results Significant differences were observed in mammilla invasion,lymphatic vessel invasion,positivity of lymph node,lymph node metastatic level,extranodal extension,estrogen receptor,progestin receptor,triple negative between the two groups; while there was no significant differences between the two groups as to amenorrhea status,lesion laterality,number of metastatic lymph nodes,human epidermal growth factor receptor-2,local recurrence and distant organ metastasis.The median follow-up time of the invasive micropapillary carcinoma group were 46 months ( 16 - 75 months),and the 3-year overall survival and disease free survival was 90.2％ and 84.3％,respectively.Conclusions Invasive micropapillary carcinoma is a unique subtype of breast cancer which manifests an aggressive behavior tending to involve lymph node and extranodal soft tissues.Invasive micropapillary carcinoma of the breast had high expression of hormonal receptors,and triple negative breast cancer is less common in this type of breast cancer.

Objective To analyze the effect of bortezomib together with dexamethsone on the treatment of refractory multiple myeloma.Methods Bortezomib at 1.3 mg/m2 iv drop 1 d,4 d,8 d,11 d.Dexamethasonc 20 mg/d,1～4 d,8～11 d,17～20 d.21 days are used as a course.For bi-course dexamethasone was given by 20 mg/d,at 1～4 d.Results After 2～6 periods,3 cases achieved completely recovery(CR),4 cases are near to completely recovery(CR),3 cases got partially recovery(PR).Conclusion It is a good choice to treat refractory multiple myeloma by Bortezomib together with dexamethagone.
