This paper reviewed the existing literatures of executive function in obsessive -compulsive disorder (OCD) patients, and critically examined four neurocognitive tests in the recent ten years' studies, including stroop task, Wisconsin Card Sorting Test(WCST),London tower, and Trail-making test. In addition, we discuss the problems occurred in the past experiments, and put forward suggestions for further studies.

Bacterial translocation is a major contributor to sepsis and multisystem organ failure.This paper reviews the studies in recent years.We will briefly introduce the advance in bacterial translocation,and expound its pathogenesis,prognosis,diagnosis,therapy,as well as significance and prospects.

Objective: To evaluate the adaptation of different materials for gingival layer in Class Ⅱrestorations using Micro-CT.Methods:Eighteen extracted human premolars were selected, and ClassⅡcavities were prepared.The teeth were randomly divided into six groups and restored using layering tech-nique.Six materials were used for gingival layer, including four injectable materials:Beautifil Flow Plus F00 (F00), Beautifil Flow F10 (F10), Filtek Z350 Flowable (Z350F), FujiⅡLC CAPSULE (Fuji), and two packable materials: BeautifilⅡ (BF), Filtek Z350 (Z350).The restored teeth were scanned with micro-CT and the images were 3D reconstructed to evaluate the volumes and the distribution of the voids on the restoration-tooth interface of the gingival layer.The volume of the voids were statistically analyzed using nonparametric Jonckheere-Terpstra tests.Results: The volumes ( mm3 ) of the voids on the restoration-tooth interface were: Z350F (0.000 15), F10 (0.000 39), F00 (0.012), Fuji (0.070), Z350 (0.16) and BF (0.20).There were significant differences between Z350F/F10 and Fuji/Z350/BF (P<0.05).Most of the voids were found on the point-line angles of the cavities.Con-clusion:The voids on the restoration-tooth interface were mainly on the point-line angles of the cavities. Injectable materials with high flowablility could reduce the restoration-tooth interface voids significantly when used for the gingival layer in ClassⅡrestorations.

Gold nanoparticles ( AuNPs) have been widely used in biomedicine due to their unique physical and chemical properties as well as good biocompatibility. Current research in this field has been focused on AuNP radiosensitization in radiotherapy for cancer. Extensive studies in vivo and in vitro have showed the radiosensitization effect of AuNPs. However, the mechanism of radiosensitization by AuNPs still requires further studies. Right now, the radiation?insensitive phase ( G0+G1 phase) to radiation?sensitive phase ( G2+M phase ) transition of tumor cells by AuNPs is widely considered as the main cause of radiosensitization. There are many influencing factors for AuNP radiosensitization such as particle size, surface modification, microscopic distribution, radiation energy, radiation dose, and type of tumor cells. Moreover, safety should also be taken into account in AuNP radiosensitization. Clinical trials of AuNPs have been carried out right now. More studies on AuNP radiosensitization are needed to achieve real clinical transformation.

Objective To cultivate mice glomerular podocyte with high glucose and high Ang-Ⅱ,observe the morphocytology of podocyte,and investigate protein kinase C (PKC) activity,the expressions of nephrin and CD2-associated protein (CD2AP),and apoptosis of podocyte with injuries cultivations.Methods The conditions immortalization mice podocyte cell lines was cultivated,after passage and differential induce,the cell lines was divided into six groups:normal group,high glucose group,high Ang-Ⅱ] group,the above two mixed group,intervened group of PKC inhibitor,and hypertonic group.After 72 hours,cell apoptosis rate was detected with flow cytometer; PKC activity was detected with enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in 24 hours and 48 hours ; The expressions of nephrin and CD2AP mRNA were detected by real time-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).Results (1)After 24 hours,the PKC of high glucose group and high Ang-Ⅱ group were more activated than normal group [(47.09 ± 1.19) pmol/L,(42.93 ±0.71) pmol/L,P ＜0.05].The activated phenomenon was more obvious in the mixed group.Compared to 24 hours [(58.75 ±0.71) pmol/ L,P ＜ 0.01],PKC was more activated in 48 hours (P ＜ 0.05).(2) Nephrin mRNA was reduced in podocyte exposed to high glucose and high Ang-Ⅱ at least 24 hours (56.87 ± 0.74,48.54 ± 0.86,P ＜ 0.05),and was reduced more in mixed group (11.7 ± 1.54,P ＜ 0.01).(3) CD2AP mRNA was reduced in podocyte exposed to high glucose,high Ang-Ⅱ,and mixed environment at least 48 hours (56.09 ± 1.46,67.68 ±2.58,and 54.08 ±2.74,P ＜0.05).The decrease trend of nephrin and CD2AP mRNA was restrained by PKC inhibitor(90.75 ± 1.33,P ＜0.05).(4) After 48 hours and 72 hours,the apoptosis rates of high glucose group,high Ang-Ⅱ group,and mixed group were risen compared to normal group (P ＜ 0.05).The increase of apoptosis rate can be restrained by PKC inhibitor.Conclusions High glucose,and high Ang-Ⅱ can activate the podocytes PKC activity,inhibit the expression of nephrin and CD2AP mRNAs,and induce podocyte apoptosis.PKC signaling pathway plays an important role in the injury mechanism of Ang-Ⅱ and high glucose to mice podocyte.

Objective To optimize the formula of konjac glucomannan-paeonol matrix tablets. Methods The formula of paeonol matrix tablets was optimized by the orthogonal design with the accumulative release rate in vitro as index, with the viscosity of konjac glucomannan ( KGM) , the amount of KGM and lactose as influence factors. Results The optimized formula was as follows:the viscosity of konjac glucomannan was 20 000 mPa·s, KGM 30%, lactose 20% and the release in vitro fit into the Higuchi equation. Conclusion The formula of the paeonol matrix tablets is reasonable and the tablets have well release effect in vitro.

Objective To investigate the prevalence and the transmission of oqxAB gene in clinical strains of Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae .Methods Nonduplicate clinical isolates of E.coli (n=72)and K .pneumoniae (n=49)were col-lected.The oqxAB gene was amplified by PCR.The product was sequenced.Plasmid conjugation experiments were done in oqxAB-positive E.coli and K.pneumoniae strains to detemine whether oqxAB gene is located in plasmid.The MICs and mu-tant prevention concentrations (MPCs)for ciprofloxacin were determined in transconjugants with oqxAB gene by agar dilution method.Results The oqxA,oqxB and oqxAB were identified in 15,4,and 7 of the 72 strains of Escherichia coli and 4,1,and 34 of the 49 strains of K.pneumoniae,respectively.The oqxAB gene was positive in 2 (2/16)ciprofloxacin sensitive and 5 (5/56)ciprofloxacin resistant E.coli strains,in 8 (8/14)ciprofloxacin sensitive and 26 (26/35)ciprofloxacin resistant K. pneumoniae strains,respectively.The E.coli and K.pneumoniae strains with or without oqxAB did not show different sus-ceptibility to ciprofloxacin.The oqxA and oqxB sequences from E.coli and K.pneumoniae showed 99% similarity to the se-quences of GeneBank accession number AB601773.1 and accession number FJ975561.1,respectively.The oqxAB gene was successfully transferred in 4 of the 5 oqxAB-positive E.coli strains.The MIC of ciprofloxacin was 0.25-0.5 mg/L against the transconjugants,31-62 times higher than the MICs for the recipient strains.The MPC of ciprofloxacin was 8-16 mg/L against the transconjugants,32 times higher than that for recipient strain J53.The oqxAB gene were not transferred in K. pneumoniae. When the MIC of ciprofloxacin was ≤0.062 5 mg/L,the MPC of ciprofloxacin was 0.25-0.5 mg/L for K.pneumoniae strains with or without oqxAB.When MIC was 0.25-0.5 mg/L,the MPC of ciprofloxacin was 2-16 mg/L for K .pneumoniae strains with or without oqxAB .Conclusions oqxAB gene is present in E .coli and K .pneumoni-ae .The oqxAB gene spreads through plasmid in E .coli.The nonsiginificant difference of oqxAB prevalence between ciproflox-acin sensitive and ciprofloxacin resistant strains indicates that oqxAB gene may mediate low level resistance to ciprofloxacin in E.coli.The E.coli transconjugants of oqxAB gene can produce high level resistance under the selection pressure of ciproflox-acin.The high level resistance in K .pneumoniae under selection pressure of ciprofloxacin is not associated with oqxAB gene, but related to the ciprofloxacin MIC against these strains.

Objective To prepare cetuximab-β-glucosidase conjugates and to identify its enzymatic activity and an?tibody activity. Methods Cetuximab andβ-glucosidase were crosslinked by Sulfosuccinimidyl-4-(N-maleimidomethyl) cyclohexane-1-carboxylate (Sulfo-SMCC). Cetuximab-β-glucosidase conjugates and its enzymatic and antibody activity were examined by non-reduced SDS-PAGE, colorimetry and indirect immunofluorescence assay. Results We can see clear bands ofβ-glucosidase, cetuximab, cetuximab-β-glucosidase conjugates through electropherogram. Although the en?zymatic activity of cetuximab-β-glucosidase conjugates was lower than that ofβ-glucosidase (U/L:672.97±46.19 vs 869.50± 57.28,t=5.972,P<0.05) shown by colorimetry assay, it still maintain good enzymatic activity. Under fluorescence micro?scope, we can see the conjugates interacted with human bladder cancer EJ cells are in a red fluorescence. Conclusion Ce?tuximab,β-glucosidase were crosslinked successfully by Sulfo-SMCC without altered its enzymatic and antibody activity.

Objective To investigate the interest,cognition degree,participation degree and current situation of the advanced undergraduate clinical students in our college,to discuss the reason for low level of students' scientific research quality,in order to provide the reference to making research training programs for them.Methods The advanced undergraduates of seven-year and five-year clinical program interned in orthopedics department from January to June in 2014 were selected with cluster sampling method,and investigated anonymously by questionnaires and interview.120 students were investigated by questionnaire,and 120 effective questionnaires were taken back.30 students were interviewed.Results The results showed that 90.0 percent (n=108) of students were interested in scientific activity,and 47.5 percent (n=57) of students had participated in scientific lectures.In interviews,students think factors hindering the research on the participation in scientific research are:1)too many courses and heavy school tasks;2) absence of relative knowledge;3) lack of support from college;4) tough condition for scientific training;5) immature management system.Conclusion The advanced undergraduate clinical students had great interest in scientific activity,but had few opportunities to take part in,leading to their low level of scientific research quality.A variety of measures should be taken to bolster their scientific training.

Objective To observe blood plasma matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) of the patients with different types of carotid plaque and investigate the relationship between MMP-9 and carotid plaque vulnerability.
