Journal of Medical Research 2015;44(5):160-162
Objective To characterize the molecular genotypes and quantitative serological biomarker, and to explore their clinical significance in patients with chronic hepatitis B ( CHB) . Methods A total of 210 CHB patients were enrolled and HBV DNA loading, HBV molecular genotypes, quantitative serological biomarker, and ALT were measured. Patients were grouped according to the natural phases of HBV infection:HBeAg (+) immune tolerance, immune clearance, HBeAg (-) low replicative and reactivation phase. The correlation was analyzed between molecular genotypes and serological biomarkers, HBsAg and other biomarkers. Results Subgenotypes B2 with high level of HBV DNA and C2 with middle level of HBV DNA were found to be most prevalent. The positive rates were 59. 0%(B2) and 25. 2%(C2). Patients genotype with B showing more potent viral activity. Subgenotype B2 was sinificantly corelated with HB-sAg, HbeAg, and ALT levels(P < 0. 01), but there was no statistical difference for subgenotype C2. There was statistical difference be-tween positive rates of subgenotypes(P>0. 05), but HBsAg level was found to be significantly correlated with HBV DNA, HBeAg, ALT levels during some phases of CHB. Conclusion Molecular genotyping and quantitative serological biomarkers detection might be helpful for earlier prediction of the long-term disease outcomes in patients with CHB.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(25):4062-4067
BACKGROUND:When peri-implantitis occurs, the levels of interleukin-17 in the peri-implant sulcular fluid and soft tissues are significantly increased, and there is a positive correlation with the depth of the peri-implant probing. However, because of the dual effects of bone absorption and protection, the function of interleukin-17 in peri-implantitis remains controversial, which should be further studied. OBJECTIVE:To retrospectively analyze the correlation between peri-implantitis and interleukin-17. METHODS: The first author searched Wanfang, CNKI and Medline databases from 1991 to 2014 by using key words of “dental implants, peri-implantitis, periodontitis, Th17 cels, interleukin-17, cytokines” in Chinese or English. The functions of bone destruction and protection of interleukin-17 in peri-implantitis were reviewed, and interleukin-17 expression and correlation with the peri-implantitis were detected. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 46 articles from 241 articles are selected. The results show that, noninvasive detection of the variation of interleukin-17 levels in peri-implant sulcular fluid or blood is conducive to the monitoring of early diagnosis and treatment of peri-implantitis. At present, most researches show the relationship between interleukin-17 and peri-implantitis, and there is a positive correlation between interleukin-17 and peri-implant probing depth. But other researches suggest that interleukin-17 acts as protector for bones, and there is no statistic significance in the level of interleukin-17 receptor gene in chronic peri-odontitis and healthy subjects. Therefore, the correlation between peri-implantitis and interleukin-17 remains to be further studied.

Clinical Medicine of China 2009;25(5):482-484
Objective To study the relationship between severity of coronary artery lesion and serum level of apolipoprotein A5 (ApoA5). Methods The level of serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high-den-sity lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C ), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C ), apolipoprotein A1 ( APOA1), apolipoprotein B (APOB) ,Lipoprotein(a) and uric acid(UA) were examined in 114 patients with coronary heart disease(CHD) and 40 healthy control subjects;Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) methods was used to determine APOA5. The eoronay heart disease patients were divided into tree groups by the severity of coronary artery lesion: that is one, two and three vessel lesion. Results Compared with control group, APOA5, ApoA1, HDL-C lev-el of CHD groups were lower(P <0.01 or P<0.05) ,TG ,LP(a)and UA were higher(P <0.01 or P <0.05) ,the difference of TC, LDL-C and APOB were not significant (P>0.05 ). In the subgroups of CHD patients, The serum APOA5 concentrations were signficant different between the CHD patients and control group( F=18.605 ,P<0.01 ). Along with the severity of coronary artery, the level of ApoA5 concentrations had a lower trend. The level of ApoA5 was negatively correlated with serum TG level ( r=-0.208, P=0.040) and LP (a) ( r=-0.088, P <0.001). The level of APOA5 had a positive correlation with the serum HDL-C (r= 0.241, P = 0.016). Conclusion There is negative correlation between severity of coronary artery lesion and serum level of ApoA5. The decrease of ApoA5 maybe a risk factor.

Objective To investigate the process of apoptosis in lungs and liver induced by crushing hindlimbs of rat, and study the mechanismof crush injury. Methods The rat experimental model of hindlimbs crush injury was established. The cell apoptosis in lungs and liver was detected by TUNEL assay, and the expression of Bax, Bcl-2 and caspase-3 apoptin was examined by immunohistochemistry. Results C ompared with the control group, the partial muscle injury of rat’s hindlimbs was more serious with more apoptosis observed in lungs and liver (P<0.05). The expression of Bax was up-regulated and Bcl-2 was down-regulated, whereas caspase-3 expression was activated (P<0.05). Conclusion The cell apoptosis has increased significantly in lungs and liver after crush injury of hindlimbs in rat. The corre-lation factor released during tissue injury may mediate apoptosis process.

Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging 2015;(5):321-323,328
PurposeTo evaluate the effect of right ventricular septum (RVS) and right ventricular apex (RVA) pacing on the left atrial systolic function in patients with atrioventricular block by using real-time three-dimensional echocardiography (RT-3DE).Materials and Methods Fifty-one patients with atrioventricular block who were candidates for implanted atrioventricular sequential pacemaker were randomly divided into RVS group (n=31) and RVA group (n=20). The minimum left atrium volume (LAVmin), maximum left atrium volume (LAVmax), and left atrium volume before contraction (LAVprep) were measured by RT-3DE at pre-operation, the 1st month, 3rd month, 6th month, and 12th month after pacemaker implantation. Accordingly, the left atrial total ejection fraction (LATEF) and the left atrial active ejection fraction (LAAEF) were calculated. Results The LAVmin at the 3rd month, 6th month, 12th month after implantation were significantly lower than that at the 1st month and pre-operation in both groups (RVA group:t=2.97 and 2.74,P<0.05; RVS group:t=3.24 and 2.86,P<0.05). LAVprep at the 6th month, 12th month in RVA group, and LAVprep at the 3rd month, 6th month, 12th month in RVS group reduced when compared with that of pre-operation (RVA group:t=3.20,P<0.05; RVS group:t=2.71,P<0.05). LATEF and LAAEF in both groups at the 3rd month, 6th month, 12th month increased when compared with that of pre-operation (RVA group:t=2.87 and 9.68,P<0.05; RVS group:t=3.56 and 8.22,P<0.05). The LATEF and LAAEF in RVS group at the 6th month and 12th month after implantation were significantly larger than that in RVA group at the same time (t=2.90, 5.22, 3.03 and 3.55, P<0.05).Conclusion Atrioventricular sequential pacing is helpful to recovering the left atrial systolic function in patients with atrioventricular block. Compared with RVA pacing, RVS pacing is able to increase LATEF and LAAEF more greatly.
