Objective To explore the fibrotic stroma characteristics of orthotopic liver cancer in rat and the relationship with MR delayed contrast enhancement.Methods 4 Wistar rats with orthotopic liver cancer underwent conventional triphasal and longer-de-layed contrast-enhancement MR scanning.12 HCC specimens obtained from the four Wistar rats were sliced and stained with HE, picric-sirius red,Verhoeff Van-Gieson elastic fiber,Gordon-Sweets reticular fiber and anti-α-SMA immunohistochemical staining.The relationshp between intratumoral fibrotic stroma and MR delayed phases of the 1 2 tumors were analyzed.Results Collagen fiber was expressed mainly in tumor fibrous septum.Elastic fiber distributed in tumor fibrous septum and the artery wall.Reticular fiber dis-tributed in fibrous septum of the regenerative nodules,portal area and tumor psuedocapsule.Integrated optical density (IOD)value of collagen fiber,elastic fiber and reticular fiber analyzed by Image-pro Plus6.0 were 0.102±0.020,0.063±0.018 and 0.109±0.032, respectively.As a result,the amount of collagen and elastic fibers were statistically different (P<0.01),and so were reticular fibers and elastic fibers (P<0.01).And there was a positive correlation between collagen fiber and MR delayed contrast enhancement (P<0.05).Conclusion MR delayed contrast enhancement of hepatic cancer in rat is closely associated with the collagen fiber,thus this fiber in liver cancer can be evaluated noninvasively by MRI.

Objective: To conduct a characteristic analysis of the case of acute hydrogen sulfide poisoning in fishing boats for nearly ten years in a city, and to research on prevention and control measures, so as to provide scientific basis for formulating prevention strategies. Methods: In July 2018, collecting the data of acute hydrogen sulfide poisoning in fishing boats recorded by the Oceanic and Fishery Department & Health Sector from January 1, 2009 to June 30, 2018, the accident characteristics of acute hydrogen sulfide poisoning in fishing boats was analyzed, and compared the differences of hydrogen sulfide poisoning under different classification statistics. Results: In the past ten years, there were 14 acute poisonings in the city, 34 people were poisoned and 12 deaths (the case fatality rate was 35.3%) . According to the types of fishing vessels, the majority number of acute hydrogen sulfide poisoning incidents, poisoned persons and deaths occurred on fishing boats, accounted for 71.4% (10/14) , 76.5% (26/34) and 75.0% (9/12) respectively. From the location of the accident, 85.7% (12/14) of the acute hydrogen sulfide poisoning incidents occurred outside the fishing port. Fisher's exact test showed that the case fatality rate in within the fishing port was higher than that outside the fishing port (P=0.008) . From the cause of direct poisoning, the first three reasons were enter the fish room to rescue, enter the fish room to move fresh catch, to clean the fish room. The poisoning showed seasonal changes, Fisher's exact test showed that the fatality rate in summer was significantly higher than that in spring (P=0.044) , but there was no statistical significance in other seasons (P>0.05) . Conclusion The acute hydrogen sulfide poisoning of fishing boats in this city has a high case fatality rate, frequent collective poisoning, and showed seasonal changes. Blind rescue, incomplete facilities, and inadequate system are important factors leading to poisoning, so daily measures and rescue measures should be strengthened to reduce the occurrence of poisoning and casualties.

OBJECTIVE:To observe therapeutic efficacy and safety of Danshen chuanxiongqin injection combined with flunari-zine hydrochloride in the benign prevention and treatment of paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) and lower extremity deep ve-nous thrombosis (DVT) in post-operative long-term bedridden patients with lower limb fractures. METHODS:300 post-operative long-term bedridden patients with lower limb fractures were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 150 cases in each group. Control group was given Flunarizine hydrochloride capsules orally 10 mg,qd;observation group was additionally given Danshen chuanxiongqin injection 10 ml+5% Glucose injection 250 ml,ivgtt,qd. The incidence of BPPV and DVT were observed in 2 groups after intervention,and the circumference of lower limb,blood coagulation indexes, blood rheology indexes and inflammatory factor were observed before and after intervention,and the incidence of ADR was com-pared. RESULTS:The incidence of BPPV and DVT in observation group were 18.0% and 16.7%,which were significantly lower than in control group(48.7% and 52.7%),with statistical significance(P<0.05);after intervention,the circumference of lower limb,blood rheology indexes and the levels of inflammatory factors in 2 groups were decreased significantly, while the coagula-tion indicators were significantly improved;the observation group was better than the control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR between 2 groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Danshen chuanxiongqin injection combined with flunarizine hydrochloride is effective in the prevention of BPPV and DVT in long-term bed-ridden patients with lower limb fractures,with low incidence of ADR.

Objective To elucidate the correlation between the enhancement degree of renal clearcell carcinoma (RCC) on dynamic contrast-enhanced CT and multiple vascular morphometric characteristics including microvessels and mature vessels.Methods A retrospective review was carried out on the records of 37 patients pathologically diagnosed with RCC who underwent plain and triphasic contrast-enhanced CT.The absolute (enhancement attenuation-pre-enhancement attenuation) and relative(absolute enhancement value÷cortex enhancement attenuation) enhancement values of RCC were measured in arterial,venous and delayed phases.And all lesions were divided into hypervascular and hypovascular groups.The number,mean area,perimeter and diameter,shape factor (4π*area/perimeter2) and the total area of microvessels and mature vessels were obtained by CD34 or a-SMA immunohistochemical staining.Then the correlation of radiographic parameters and various vascular morphometric parameters were analyzed.Results In arterial,venous and delayed phases,the absolute enhancement values were positively correlated with the number and the total area of microvessels and mature vessels (P<0.05),meanwhile the relative enhancement values were positively correlated with the number of microvessels and mature vessels(P<0.05).In venous and delayed phases,there were negative correlations of the relative enhancement values with mean area,perimeter and diameter of mature vessels(P<0.05).However, no correlations were found between other enhancement and vascular parameters (P>0.05).In addition, the significant differences in the number of microvessels and mature vessels between hypervascular and hypovascular groups were found (P<0.05).Conclusion CT enhancement degrees of RCC are related to multiple vascular morphometric indicators,which gives us more insights in the mechanism of RCC enhancement on CT.

Objective: To establish a microwave digestion-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry assay for simultaneous determination of multiple elements in placenta. Methods: Fresh placental tissues were dried at 60 ℃ for 15 h and ground into power. Then, 0.3 g homogenized samples were digested in a microwave digestion system. The interference from mass spectrometry was removed using the kinetic energy discrimination model in the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, and the baseline interference was removed by online internal standards. The contents of 17 elements were determined in placental specimens using the established microwave digestion -inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry assay, including V, Ni, Co, Fe, Cr, Cu, Zn, Mn, As, Sn, Sb, Ba, Se, Cd, Pb, Hg and Tl. Results: Good linearity was shown for V, Ni, Co, Cr, As, Se, Cd, Pb and Tl at 1 to 50 µg/L, Fe at 100 to 5 000 µg/L, Zn, Cu, Mn and Ba at 10 to 500 µg/L, Sn and Sb at 0.1 to 5 µg/L, and Hg at 0.2 to 2 µg/L, with all correlation coefficients of 0.999 8 and higher. The detection limits of these 17 elements ranged from 0.5 to 100 μg/kg, with relative standard deviations of 2.1% to 6.5%, and recovery rates of 83.3% to 110.0%. The determination results of 17 elements were all within the normal reference range defined in the certified reference materials of chicken (GBW10018). Conclusions The microwave digestion-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry established based on optimized pretreatments and mass spectrometry detection conditions, is feasible for simultaneous determination of multiple elements in placenta.

Objective: To analyze the characteristics of pneumoconiosis patients and the basic status of medical treatment. Methods: Research objects were chosen by stratified sampling method and typical survey method from existing pneumoconiosis patients in China. The survey was carried out from March 2017 to January 2018 in nine provinces including provinces from east, medium and western region in China. Source of pneumoconiosis cases were inpatient cases, outpatient or physical-examined cases and household-investigation cases. The survey mainly included demographic and sociological characteristics, economic status, occupational history and dust exposure history, disease status, work-related injury insurance and social security status and related indicators of pneumoconiosis treatment. Results: Investigated 1037 pneumoconiosis cases which included 186 (19.9%) household-investigation cases, 212 (20.4%) outpatient or physical-examined cases and 639 (61.7%) inpatient cases. Demographic and sociological characteristics, individual monthly income, economic source, occupational history and work-related injury insurance were statistically significant among different source of pneumoconiosis patients (P<0.05) . Among all of the household-investigation cases, there were 74 cases (40.2%) had no income, 117 cases (62.9%) used to work in private enterprises, 36 cases (19.4%) had work-related injuries insurance, 95 cases (51.1%) were at three phase of pneumoconiosis, 108 cases (59.0%) haven't had any drugs for pneumoconiosis. 65 cases (39.4%) haven't went to the clinic, 53 cases (28.5%) hadn't seek medical advice although they needed medical treatment very much. Among all of the outpatient or physical-examined cases, there were 95 cases (46.1%) had no income, 36 cases (17.0%) had work-related injuries Insurance, 139 cases (65.6%) went to the clinic for treatment of pneumoconiosis, 81 cases (38.2%) went to the clinic for more than ten times. Among all the inpatient cases, 310 cases' (49.3%) personal monthly income was above 2000 yuan, 352 cases (55.1%) had work-related injuries Insurance, 588 cases (92.2%) were taking drugs for treatment of pneumoconiosis, 153 canses (24.2%) had hospitalization for than ten times. Conclusion Household-investigation cases have lower economic conditions, lower rates of Insurance coverage for work-related injuries, severer pneumoconiosis and higher clinical service utilization. Clinical or physical-examined cases have lower economic conditions, lower rates of Insurance coverage for work-related injuries and higher clinical service utilization. Hospitalized cases have better economic conditions, higher rates of insurance coverage for work-related injuries and higher hospitalization service utilization.

Objective: To study the effects p-phenylenediamine (PPD) on lung function and health-related quality of life of occupational exposed workers. Methods: This study was based on data from a company that produce hair dye containing PPD in China. Workers who exposed to PPD were selected as the study group, and workers un-exposed to PPD were selected as the control group. Questionnaires on health-related quality of life of workers using the 36-item Short Form Health Survey (SF-36) . Occupational health examination assessment results were tested in Taizhou Cancer Hospital. The lung function test includes forced vital capacity (FVC) , forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV_1.0) , and ratio of FEV_1.0 to FVC (FEV_1.0/FVC) . Results: The difference in systolic blood pressure between the PPD exposed group and the control group was statistically significant (P<0.05) . FVC, FEV_1.0, and FEV_1.0/FVC of the lung function indexes in the exposed group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05) . In the health-related quality of life, body pain (P=0.002) , general health (P=0.029) , vitality (P=0.038) , and mental health (P=0.003) were lower in the exposed group than in the control group. Conclusion Occupational exposed to PPD may induce hazard to the workers’lung function and may cause detrimental effect on workers’ health-related quality of life.

Objective: To study the effect of p-phenylenediamine (PPD) on liver and kidney function in occupational exposed workers. Methods: Workers in a hair dye production enterprise which used p-phenylenediamine as a raw material for production were selected as the main research population. Then we conducted a questionnaire survey on the basic conditions of workers and conducted occupational health checkups on general health status, liver and kidney function. Occupational health examination assessment results were tested in Taizhou Cancer Hospital. All data was built using EpiData 3.1 software, and statistical analysis was performed using software SPSS 20.0. Results: The liver function indicators including direct bilirubin, prealbumin, total protein, and white protein, globulin, aspartate aminotransferase, glutamyl transpeptidase, and total bilirubin in the workers exposed to high concentration of PPD were at high normal values, and these indicators were significantly different from low PPD concentration group (P<0.05) . The serum creatinine and serum uric acid in the renal function index were significantly higher in workers exposed to PPD than in workers exposed to low concentrations and in the control group (P<0.05) . Conclusion Occupational exposed to PPD may have a hazard to the workers’ liver and kidney function. Long-term occupational exposure to PPD may lead to increased cumulative exposure of workers, which may cause potential chronic liver and kidney damage in occupationally exposed populations.

From November 2014 to July 2017,637 patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) were included in the analysis,among whom there were 48 cases with prior ischemic stroke (7.5％).The risk factors,history,severity of coronary artery disease,medication status,and incidence of adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events (cardiac death,re-infarction,heart failure,stroke) were analyzed.Compare with patients without prior ischemic stroke (control group) patients with prior ischemic stroke (study group) had lower rates in administration of beta blockers [50.00％(24/28) vs.69.78％(411/589),x2=8.02,P＜0.05]and interventional therapy[56.67％(17/30) vs.81.86％(334/408),x2=11.15,P＜0.05].However,there were no significant differences in medication of dual antiplatelet,statins and angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors or angiotensin receptor blocker between two groups (P＞0.05);and there was no significant difference in major adverse cardiovascular events between two groups (P＞0.05).In the future,more studies are needed for clinical management of this group of patients.
