OBJECTIVES: To establish an automation system for detection of alcohol content in blood. METHODS: The determination was performed by automated workstation of extraction-headspace gas chromatography （HS-GC）. The blood collection with negative pressure, sealing time of headspace bottle and sample needle were checked and optimized in the abstraction of automation system. The automatic sampling was compared with the manual sampling. RESULTS: The quantitative data obtained by the automated workstation of extraction-HS-GC for alcohol was stable. The relative differences of two parallel samples were less than 5%. The automated extraction was superior to the manual extraction. A good linear relationship was obtained at the alcohol concentration range of 0.1-3.0 mg/mL （r≥0.999） with good repeatability. CONCLUSIONS The method is simple and quick, with more standard experiment process and accurate experimental data. It eliminates the error from the experimenter and has good repeatability, which can be applied to the qualitative and quantitative detections of alcohol in blood.

OBJECTIVETo study the clinical effects of one stage surgical treatment of thoracolumbar spinal tuberculosis by anterior radical debridement with bone graft fusion and posterior pedicle screw-rods system fixation.

METHODSFrom February 2002 to March 2007, 21 patients who were 45.3 years old on average with thoracolumbar spinal tuberculosis, including 13 males and 8 females were underwent surgical treatment of posterior pedicle screw-rods system fixation, correction of deformities, anterior radical debridement, bone graft fusion. Among them, 3 patients had 2 involved vertebras, 17 patients had 3 involved vertebras, and 1 patient had 4 involved vertebras. The patients were all complicated with kyphosis deformity with an average Cobb angle of (28.0+/-9.7) degrees. According to the Frankel neurological function grade system, 3 cases in grade B, 5 in grade C, 1 in grade D, 12 in grade E. All the patients received antiphthisic treatment with isonicotinylhydrazide (INH), rifampicin (RFP), Ethambutol (EMB), pyrazinamide (PZA), and support therapy in preoperation. The chemotherapy was continued 9 to 12 months after operation. Neurological functions of all cases were investigated, and radiography was analyzed pre-operation and post-operation to determine the state of bony fusion and the correction of spinal kyphosis. Statistical analysis was made according to the preoperative and post-operative Cobb angle.

RESULTSThe follow-up period ranged from 1 to 6 years with 2.5 years on average. All the patients had primary healing of the incisions. The Cobb angle was (9.8+/3.3) degrees in post-operation. The kyphosis deformity was corrected 17.2 degrees in thoracolumbar on average (t=-13.48, P<0.01). According to the Frankel neurological functional grade system, 1 case was in grade C, 3 in grade D, and 17 in grade E.

CONCLUSIONIt is effective for patients with thoracolumbar spinal tuberculosis in correction of spinal kyphosis, reconstruction of the spinal stability and bony fusion by anterior radical debridement with bone graft fusion and posterior pedicle screw-rods system fixation.

OBJECTIVES: We performed an updated meta-analysis to clarify the relationship between the CEBPE rs2239633 polymorphism and the childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (CALL) susceptibility. METHODS: All the case-control studies were updated on October 5, 2020, through Web of Science, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) electronic database. The heterogeneity in the study was tested by the Q test and I RESULTS: A total of 20 case-control studies were selected, including 7014 patients and 16,428 controls. There was no association of CEBPE rs2239633 polymorphism with CALL (CC vs CT + TT: OR = 1.08, 95% CI = 0.94-1.26; CC + CT vs TT: OR = 1.10, 95% CI = 0.94-1.30; C vs T: OR = 1.02, 95% CI = 0.92-1.13). In the subgroup analysis by ethnicity, there is no significant association of this polymorphism and CALL risks among Asian and Caucasian populations in the three genetic models (CC vs CT + TT, CC + CT vs TT, and C vs T). CONCLUSION This meta-analysis found no significant association between the CEBPE rs2239633 polymorphism and susceptibility to CALL.

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the types of mental disorders caused by traumatic brain injury and the optimal time for forensic psychiatric appraisal. To explore the relationship between the degree of traumatic brain injury, the time of appraisal and the grade of intellectual deficiency. METHODS: Five hundred and thirty-four forensic psychiatric cases of mental disorders caused by traumatic brain injury were retrospectively analyzed. RESULTS: In the types of mental disorders caused by traumatic brain injury, the most cases were diagnosed as organic mood disorders (51.1%), following organic neurosis-like syndrome (24.0%) and organic intellectual deficiency (18.0%). For the disability grades, the most cases were the level VIII and IX disability grades, 219 cases (41.0%) and 177 cases (33.1%), respectively. The degree of brain injury and the degree of intelligence defection according to WAIS-RC were higher in intellectual deficiency group compared with non-intellectual deficiency group (P < 0.05). The grade of disability correlated with the degree of brain injury, the result of WAIS-RC, the result of cerebral CT scanning, and the grade of brain electrical activity mapping (BEAM) abnormality (P < 0.05). Nevertheless, the degree of intellectual deficiency did not correlate with appraisal time and the degree of brain injury (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION The factors influencing intellectual deficiency are complex. The findings of objective examination including cerebral CT scanning, BEAM, WAIS-RC and others should be considered as important indexes for disability evaluation.

ObjectiveTo genotype Oncomelania hupensis， based on microsatellites， in different snail-bearing environments in Jiaxing City， Zhejiang Province， for population genetics analysis in order to explore the reasons and influencing factors for the existence or proliferation of snails and to provide scientific basis for effective monitoring and control of snails. MethodsA total of 90 snail samples from three populations were collected in Yaobang Village （YB） and Sanxing Village （SX） in Pinghu City， and Yunhe Farm （YH） in Xiuzhou District， all were selected for snail checking in key snail habitats of Jiaxing City in 2022. DNA of the snails was genotyped and analyzed for population genetics using nine microsatellite loci. ResultsA total of 84 alleles were observed， and the mean number of alleles （Na） was 7.889， 5.667， and 3.778 for YB， SX， and YH respectively； the number of effective alleles （NeA） was 4.807， 3.329， and 2.294， respectively； and the coefficients of inbreeding （F_IS） were 0.400， 0.377， and 0.493， respectively. Under the Infinite Allele Model （IAM）， the SX and YH might have a recent bottleneck. The NEstimator and LDNe software calculated effective population sizes （Ne） were above 31.9. AMOVA analysis showed that the variation of snails in the three populations mainly existed among individuals， accounting for 41.4% of the total variation. The value of the index of genetic differentiation between populations （F_ST） was 0.286， indicating a high degree of genetic differentiation. The results of the principal component analysis and phylogenetic tree were consistent， and the three populations were divided into two lineages， YB and SX were one lineage， and YH belonged to another independent lineage. Population history and dynamics analysis showed that the gene flow of the three populations was insufficient， population divergence history indicated that YH might have diverged from SX first， and YB was produced by the contact fusion of SX and YH. ConclusionThe genetic diversity of snail populations in Jiaxing City is generally low， and the snail populations are unstable， with a great degree of genetic differentiation and insufficient gene flow among populations. This study can provide a basis for evaluating the effectiveness of the control of the snail as well as monitoring the trend of the spread of the snail.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of treatment of Müller A fracture of distal femur with small incision internal fixation assisted by homeopathic bidirectional-traction reduction device. METHODS: From January 2018 to December 2019, 22 patients (14 males and 8 females) with Müller type A distal femoral fractures were treated with homeopathic bidirectional-traction assisted reduction and minimally invasive small incision locking plate internal fixation;The age ranged from 29 to 58 years old with an average of (41.23±7.03) years. The time from injury to operation was 1 to 7 days with an average of (3.41±1.71) days. According to Müller classification, there were 4 cases of type A1, 10 cases of type A2, and 8 cases of type A3. The postoperative knee joint function was evaluated by Schatzker Lambert fracture criterion of distal femur. RESULTS: All the incisions healed in one stage without infection, osteomyelitis and other complications. All the fractures healed without malunion and nonunion. All of 22 patients were followed up for 12 to 18 months with an average of (14.50±2.02) months. The healing time was 3 to 6 months with an average of (4.64±1.14) months. According to Schatzker Lambert criteria for distal femoral fracture, 12 cases were excellent, 6 good, and 4 medium. CONCLUSION It is an ideal method to treat Müller type A fracture of distal femur with homeopathic bidirectional-traction assisted reduction device and minimally invasive small incision locking plate internal fixation.

Objective: To investigate the effect of lung rehabilitation exercise on cancer-related fatigue and quality of life in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) undergoing chemotherapy. Methods: From October 2016 to October 2018, 82 patients with NSCLC treated in Zhejiang Rongjun Hospital were randomly divided into control group (41 cases) and observation group (41 cases) according to random number table method.The control group was given routine intervention, while the observation group was given lung rehabilitation exercise on the basis of the control group.Both two groups were evaluated after 8 weeks of intervention.The changes of lung function, cancer-related fatigue and quality of life before and after intervention were compared between the two groups. Results: After intervention, the FEV₁% and FEV₁/FVC in the two groups were higher than those before intervention (observation group: t=18.565, 11.207; control group: t=9.363, 6.028, all P<0.05). After intervention, the FEV₁% [(64.38±3.79)%] and FEV₁/FVC (69.47±6.54) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group [(56.74±2.85)% and (60.10±4.25)] (t=10.316, 7.692, all P<0.05). After intervention, the scores of body, cognition, behavior and emotion in the two groups were higher than those before intervention (observation group: t=17.663, 15.167, 12.304, 14.750; control group: t=9.869, 6.617, 7.566, 9.553, all P<0.05). After intervention, the scores of body [(6.57±0.31)points], cognition[(6.15±0.42)points], behavior[(6.32±0.31)points] and emotion [(6.28±0.21)points] in the observation group were higher than those in the control group [(5.78±0.28)points, (5.41±0.48)points, (5.78±0.27)points and (5.82±0.25)points] (t=12.109, 7.429, 8.411, 9.021, all P<0.05). After intervention, the scores of social function, cognitive function, emotional function, role function, physical function and general health in the two groups were higher than those before intervention (observation group: t=14.487, 17.845, 22.025, 16.393, 11.665, 14.533; control group: t=9.880, 9.777, 10.797, 6.231, 6.838, 6.512, all P<0.05). After intervention, the scores of social function[(75.48±8.19)points], cognitive function[(72.43±6.32)points], emotional function [(71.93±5.74)points], role function[(63.25±7.86)points], physical function[(69.45±8.97)points] and general health[(68.39±7.54)points] in the observation group were higher than those in the control group [(67.31±6.74)points, (60.38±5.75)points, (59.64±6.56)points, (51.47±10.29)points, (58.83±7.09)points and (56.82±7.38)points] (t=4.932, 9.030, 9.028, 5.825, 5.947, 7.022, all P<0.05). Conclusion Lung rehabilitation exercise has good clinical effect on patients with NSCLC undergoing chemotherapy.It can alleviate cancer-related fatigue and improve the quality of life of patients.It is worthy of clinical reference.
