Heat shock protein 90(Hsp90)is a highly conserved protein which have been proved to play an important role in the development and progression of malignant transformation .As one of small molecule inhibi-tors that has been detected to have potent antitumor activity in a wide range of malignancies ,NVP-AUY922 is a pyrazole scaffold drug with many advantages such as low toxicity and stable structure .As a result of this,NVP-AUY922 is extensively considered as a new promising kind of anti -tumor drug .This review intends to update the reader on advances made over the past four years in the clinical development of NVP -AUY922 in advanced cancers.

In order to compare the clinical characteristics of familial and non-familial bullous lichen planus (BLP), the archival data of 36 BLP patients with positive family history and 21 BLP patients with negative family history diagnosed according to the clinical features and histopathology were collected in our department from 1956 to 2003. The clinical features were analyzed and compared. There were significant differences between familial and non-familial BLP in age of onset, duration of disease and extension of eruption (P<0.01). It was concluded that familial BLP appeared to differ from the non-familial form in its earlier age of onset, longer duration of the disease, more extensive eruption and more tendency to involve nails. Hereditary factors may play a role in the pathogenesis of familial BLP.

This study was aimed to investigate the blood-enriching effect of processed Radix Polygoni Multiflori on blood deficiency rats. A total of 140 SD rats were randomly divided into 14 groups, which were the blank control group, blood deficiency model group, positive control group and 11 test groups. The blank control group and model control group were treated with distilled water and the positive control group was given X ue b ao Buxue soluble granules. The test groups were treated with 11 different kinds of processed Radix Polygoni Multiflori sam-ples at a dosage of 2 g?kg-1 respectively. All rats were given drugs once a day. After 10 days, blood samples were collected and the amount of red blood cell (RBC), hemoglobin (Hb), haematocrit (HCT), whole blood viscos-ity and plasma viscosity, prothrombin time were estimated. The results showed that 9 processed Radix Polygoni Multiflori groups can increase the number of RBC and Hb significantly ( P < 0 . 05 or P < 0 . 01 ) in blood deficien-cy rat models. They were the sample processed with decoction of black soybean (DBS) for 24 h, with wine and DBS combination for 24 h , steamed for 4 h and 8 h under high pressure , with DBS for 6 h and 8 h , with wine for 6 h, with wine and DBS combination under high pressure, respectively. The samples processed with DBS un-der high pressure for 8 h increased RBC and Hb were more obviously ( P < 0 . 01 ) . The 8 groups can improve the situation of functional disorder of blood rheology significantly ( P < 0 . 05 or P < 0 . 01 ) . They were the unprocessed samples, processed with DBS and wine for 24 h respectively, with DBS and wine combination for 24 h, steamed for 4 h and 8 h or steamed with DBS for 6 h and 8 h or with wine for 6 h under high pressure respectively. It was concluded that the blood-enriching effect was improved while the R adix Polygoni Multiflori was processed with DBS or wine and under high pressure for 6-8 h .

Objective:To investigate the diagnostic values of detections of human papillomavirus (HPV) DNA combined with peripheral blood cyclin A mRNA and cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (CDK2) mRNA for cervical squamous cell carcinoma. Methods:Eighty patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma treated in Jiangyin Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2018 to October 2021 were selected as the research objects. Eighty patients with benign cervical lesions such as cervicitis treated in the same period were selected as the control. The levels of HPV-DNA in paraffin-embedded tissues of cervical squamous cell carcinoma were detected by gene chip, and the mRNA expression levels of cyclin A and CDK2 in peripheral blood monocytes were detected by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. The related factors of cervical squamous cell carcinoma were analyzed by multivariate logistic regression. Taking the results of pathological biopsy as the gold standard, the diagnostic efficacy of HPV-DNA, peripheral blood cyclin A mRNA and CDK2 mRNA single and combined detection for cervical squamous cell carcinoma were determined by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. Results:The positive rate of HPV-DNA in patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma was higher than that in the control group [75.00% (60/80) vs. 13.75% (11/80), P < 0.05]; the relative expressions of cyclin A mRNA and CDK2 mRNA in patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma were 0.26±0.08 and 1.49±0.07, respectively, which were higher than those in the control group (0.11±0.03 and 1.14±0.06), and the differences were statistically significant (both P < 0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the number of induced abortions > 1 ( OR = 3.093, 95% CI 1.386-6.899, P = 0.021), the age of first birth ≤18 years old ( OR = 3.684, 95% CI 1.651-8.219, P = 0.013), the positive HPV-DNA ( OR = 4.125, 95% CI 1.849-9.202, P = 0.001), the increased relative expression of cyclin A mRNA in peripheral blood ( OR = 3.800, 95% CI 1.703-8.478, P = 0.006) and the increased relative expression of CDK2 mRNA in peripheral blood ( OR = 4.821, 95% CI 2.161-10.756, P = 0.008) were risk factors for the occurrence of cervical squamous cell carcinoma. ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve (AUC) of HPV-DNA, peripheral blood cyclin A mRNA and CDK2 mRNA in single and combined diagnosis of cervical squamous cell carcinoma were 0.769 (95% CI 0.700-0.838), 0.756 (95% CI 0.688-0.823), 0.755 (95% CI 0.689-0.820) and 0.827 (95% CI 0.766-0.888), respectively. Conclusions:HPV-DNA and the levels of cyclin A mRNA and CDK2 mRNA in peripheral blood can be used to assist in the diagnosis of cervical squamous cell carcinoma, and the combination of the three has high diagnostic efficiency.

In order to investigate the expression of endothelin receptor B (ETR-B) in human malignant melanoma (MM) cells A375 and SK-mel-1 and the proliferative effects of endothelin 3 (ET3) on A375 cells, RT-PCR was applied to detect the expression of ETR-B gene in human MM cells A375 and SK-mel-1. MTT method was used to evaluate the growth enhancing effects of ET3 on A375 cell line in vitro. The results showed that ETR-B gene was expressed in both MM A375 and SK-mel-1 cells. ET3 had stronger ability to enhance the proliferation of A375 cells in vitro in a concentration-dependent manner. It was suggested that ET3/ETR-B might play an important proliferative role in MM.

Pain is one of the most common symptoms in cancer patients. Apart from causing patients to suffer from unpleasant feelings and negative emotional experiences, uncontrolled pain may also influence patients' function and quality of life, and may be associated with poorer prognosis. Poor management of chronic cancer-related pain may be related to its complicated mechanisms, limitations of current clinical treatment and clinicians' and patients' insufficient understanding of the symptom. Therefore, this review summarizes the definitions, classifications, evaluation and treatment principles of chronic cancer-related pain, and emphasises the importance of multidisciplinary management and patient education in cancer pain management to provide clinicians with the overall idea of pain management in adult cancer patients.
