Patient′s expectation has been defined as the anticipation that given events were likely to occur during, or as an outcome of, health care. What people expect from their health care are potentially important in predicting patient satisfaction and dissatisfaction with their care, treatment and health outcomes. There was widespread recognition of the importance of evaluating services from consumer perspectives. In this article, domestic and foreign research in recent years, expectations status, significance and various influencing factors in relation to the expectations in processes of health care were summarized. Consumer evaluations of their health care are now an established component of quality assessment, planners need to understand the expectations underlying patients′views in order to interpret their feedback. Thus leading to improve patient satisfaction and the social evaluation of medical units.

Objective To extract principal components from valuable indicators on conventional ultrasoundand contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in the differential diagnosis of thyroid benign and malignant lesions and to discuss the diagnostic value of each indicator. Methods One hundred and three patients with 125 thyroid lesions (65 malignant lesions and 60 benign lesions) underwent preoperative grayscale ultrasound (GSUS),color Doppler ultrasound (CDUS) and CEUS examinations.Eighteen indicators were chosen to evaluate every lesion and principal components were extracted by principal component and valuable indicators were ordered by importance. Results There were significant differences on GSUS and CEUS indicators between benign and malignant lesions. The first principal component was the representation of contrast enhanced ultrasound and was valuable in the differential diagnosis of thyroid benign and malignant lesions. The rank of valuable CEUS indicators were homogeneity of enhancement, filling defect, relative arrival time of periphery, peak interior echogenicity, relative arrival time of interior, peak peripheral echogenicity and ring enhancement. Conclusions GSUS and CEUS are valuable in the differential diagnosis of thyroid benign and malignant lesions.

Objective To study the difference of attentional bias towards general negative words between non-mediated obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) patients and healthy controls. Methods Event-related potentials (ERPs) were collected from 26 non-mediated OCD patients and 24 normal controls while they performed an emotional Stroop task. Results Compared to healthy controls,OCD patients showed significantly longer reaction time (OCD:(467 ± 14.88) ms,Controls:(409.65 ± 15.49) ms,P< 0.01),and had significantly larger P2 and P3 amplitude to all three types of words (P2 amplitude:OCD:(10.41±0.49) μV,Controls:(8.89±0.48) μV,P<0.05;P3 amplitude:(10.04±0.68) μV,Controls:(7.68±0.67) μV,P<0.05).In addition, the P2 peak latency of the frontal area in OCD patients was significantly longer than that in healthy controls(OCD:(190.09±4.71) ms,Controls:(179.60±4.72) ms,P<0.05).Conclusion Current findings suggest that OCD patients are characterized by a general attentional inhibition deficit but not an attentional bias to the negative words.

BACKGROUND:The cross-linking reagent is the main unit to support the skeleton of molecularly imprinted polymers, which is closely related to the bio-friendly adaption of polymers. The biocompatible and biodegradable capacities of common crosslinking agents are unclear.
OBJECTIVE:To prepare a novel biodegradable molecularly imprinted polymer and to evaluate the adsorption and biodegradability properties of the polymer.
METHODS:The biodegradable molecularly imprinted polymer was synthesized with the acrylated polyε-caprolactone as the cross-linking reagent under the UV polymerization. The adsorption of the polymer was evaluated by adsorption isotherm, Scatchard analysis and kinetic curves. The biodegradation of the polymer was observed in the simulated physiological environment system in vitro.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Both the molecularly imprinted polymer and non-molecularly imprinted polymer showed an adsorption effect on theophyl ine, the template. But the adsorption amount of the molecularly imprinted polymer was significantly more than that of the non-molecularly imprinted polymer. The drug loading and encapsulation efficiency of the molecularly imprinted polymer were 1.54%and 12.48%, respectively. The degradation rates of molecularly imprinted polymer and poly(ε-caprolactone) diol were 6.60%and 1.33%, respectively, within the observation time in vitro. The obtained molecularly imprinted polymer not only exhibited specific adsorption to certain molecules but also showed good biodegradable properties in the simulated physiological environment system, which is necessary to be a potent drug carrier.

Objective To explore the feasibility of one-stop examination with Revolution CT for axial perfusion of normal pancreas. Methods Thirteen patients who received axial perfusion scan by one-stop examination with Revolution CT were analyzed as perfusion group. Two radiologists measured pancreatic CT perfusion (CTP) parameters independently and selected optimal phase for CTA and three phases of enhanced images. The effect dose (ED) was calculated.Eighteen patients who underwent abdominal enhanced CT and CTA with spiral scan were included as control group.Patients in both groups had no pancreatic disorders. The interobserver variation of CTP parameters was estimated. Two independent radiologists separated the superior pancreaticoduodenal artery (SPDA) image into 5 points according to image quality, and the consistency was assessed. The subjective points of SPDA image quality of two groups was compared.CT value, images noise,CNR and SNR of SPDA on CTA images and those of pancreas on three phases enhanced scan images between two groups were compared. Results ICC values of all CTP parameters were higher than 0.75.The ED of perfusion protocol was (24.52±-0.01)mSv.The subjective image scores of SPDA on CTA images in both groups were both 5,the consistency was good (Kappa=0.629,0.769).The CT value,CNR,and SNR of SPDA on CTA images of CTP group were higher than those of control group (all P<0.05).The CT value,CNR,and SNR of pancreas of CTP group were higher than those of control group in venous phase and balanced phase (all P<0.05).Conclusion The pancreatic CT one-stop examination can be performed by Revolution CT scanner with maximum detector width with acceptable radiation dose, from which pancreatic CT perfusion data, enhanced images with high quality and better CTA images can be extracted.
