1.Research progress of gene mutations associated with myelodysplastic syndromes
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2016;25(7):445-448
Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) is a group of malignant clonal hematopoietic stem cell disorders. With the application of molecular biology techniques in a wide range of scientific research and clinical practice, studies have shown that gene mutation is one of the key factors in the occurrence and progression of MDS. Great clinical heterogeneity of MDS is associated with diversity of genes mutation, and genes research will play an increasingly important role in the diagnosis, classification and prognosis of MDS. In this review, the recent advances on these common genes will be summarized.
2.The interpretation of 2015 American Thyroid Association Management Guidelines for Adult Patients with Thyroid Nodules and Differentiated Thyroid Carcinoma:New progress in radioactive iodine therapy of differentiated thyroid carcinoma
China Oncology 2016;(1):1-12
Recently, the morbidity of differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) has increased annually. American Thyroid Association (ATA) published the management guidelines for patients with thyroid nodules and DTC in 2006 in order to standardize their management. The ATA guidelines was updated for the ifrst time in 2009 and its renewed version was completed in 2015 based on the considerable progress that had been made in the ifelds such as diagnostic assessment and management of thyroid nodules, surgery and radioactive iodine therapy for DTC in recent years. This article tried to interpret the updated contents about radioactive iodine therapy for DTC in 2015 version of the guidelines.
3.Benefits of patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma in different risk stratification from 131I therapy
Chinese Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging 2017;37(8):506-510
As an important postsurgical adjuvant treatment for DTC, radioactive iodine (RAI) is administered to eliminate residual thyroid tissue as well as the potentially persistent or distant metastatic lesions.It plays a significant role in reducing disease recurrence and tumor-related mortality.The major challenge at present in RAI treatment decision-making is how to achieve optimum clinical outcome with minimal radiation exposure.ATA guidelines recommends a postsurgical recurrence-risk adapted approach to RAI treatment management based on the clinicopathological features.However, RAI therapy is not beneficial to all DTC patients.The potential benefits from RAI therapy in DTC patients with different risk stratification have attracted much attention, and are reviewed in this article in order to provide more evidence-based basis for clinical decision-making.
4.Advance on Studies of Arsenic-resistant Microorganisms and Molecular Mechanisms
Lin CAI ; Ge-Jiao WANG ;
Microbiology 2008;0(08):-
Arsenic is known as a toxic metalloid, which mainly exists in inorganic forms such as arsenite and arsenate in the natural environment. A number of microorganisms have evolved different resistant mechanisms for arsenic detoxification to cope with the widespread distribution of the poisonous arsenic. Four distinct microbial arsenic-resistant mechanisms have been described including As(III) oxidation, cytoplasmic As(V) reduction, respiratory As(V) reduction, and As(III) methylation. These mechanisms confer arsenic resistance in microorganisms that play important roles in the transformation and geological cycle of arsenic. This review mainly focuses on the researches on these molecular mechanisms and potential application for environmental arsenic bioremediation using microorganisms.

Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2014;(11):29-35
Technologies for the trans-institutional sharing of scientific data were studied with the sharing of nucleic acid sequence data as the study object , such as leaving a flexible space for implementation of the unified standards in working out the criteria for data sharing , implementing regular point to point data sharing and updating in agree-ment of institutional league , and providing multiple data services according to the unified working process by giving considerations to the local demands .The significance of trans-institutional sharing of scientific data under the insti-tutional league model was summarized for the reference in constructing the scientific datasharing platform.

Daocheng ZHU ; Lin JIAO ; Rixin CHEN
Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;22(11):125-127
This article summarized the clinical researches on heat-sensitive moxibustion for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis from the aspects of simple heat-sensitive moxibustion and heat-moxibustion combined with other therapies. It analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the clinical application of heat-sensitive moxibustion, and discussed the ways of better using heat-sensitive moxibustion, with a purpose to inherit and develop it in clinical practice more efficiently.
