1.Analysis of Ultrasound and Pathology Images for Special Types of Breast Malignant Tumors

PurposeTo analyze the sonographic and the histological features of special types of breast malignant tumors in order to explore preoperative ultrasound diagnosis. Materials and Methods Seven cases of special types of breast malignant tumors confirmed by pathology were retrospectively investigated by ultrasound. The sonographic and histological features of the lesions were reviewed. The ultrasonogram manifestations of the breast anatomy and the lesions were observed and recorded.Results Among 7 cases, there were 2 cases of papillary carcinoma, 3 cases of mucinous carcinoma, and 2 cases of lymphoma. Microscopically, the papillary carcinoma had clear boundaries with infringing mesenchyme, and the tissues were papillary and dense. The mucinous carcinoma had cancer cells floated in mucus lake. The primary breast lymphoma was diffused large B-cell type with focal lesion. For sonography type of breast, there were 3 cases of fatty types, 1 case of fibroglandular-1 and 3 cases of fibroglandular-2. The papillary carcinoma was hypoechoic in 2 cases, one of them was expansive growth with large size. Two cases of mucinous carcinoma were hypoechoic without accompanying sound attenuation in 1 case and with accompanying acoustic shadow due to calcification in the other case. Lymphoma was apparent anechoic and cystoid.Conclusion Special types of breast malignancies have different sonographic features and histological features from the common invasive ductal carcinoma. It has high clinical significance to enhance the understanding of rare malignant breast tumors.
2.Efficacy and safety of Chinese patent medicine in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia:a Bayesian network Meta-analysis

Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of different Chinese patent medicines in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)by Bayesian network Meta-analysis.Methods PubMed,EMbase,Cochrane Library,CNKI,SinoMed,WanFang Data and VIP databases were electronically searched to collect randomized controlled trials(RCTs)of Chinese patent medicine in the treatment of BPH from inception to January 1,2023.Two researchers independently screened the literature,extracted data,and assessed the risk of bias of the included studies.Bayesian network Meta-analysis was performed using Stata 15.0 and GeMTC 14.3 software.Results A total of 51 RCTs involving 12 kinds of Chinese patent medicines and 4 927 patients were included.The results of direct Meta-analysis showed that Chinese patent medicine combined with conventional western medicine was superior to conventional western medicine alone in reducing international prostate symptom score(MD=-4.44,95%CI-5.09 to-3.79,P<0.001),improving maximum urinary flow rate(MD=3.16,95%CI 2.71 to 3.61,P<0.001),reducing residual urine volume(MD=-8.27,95%CI-9.62 to-6.92,P<0.001)and prostate volume(MD=-3.89,95%CI-4.60 to-3.18,P<0.001).The results of the network Meta-analysis showed that the Longbishu capsules combined with conventional western medicine had the best effect in reducing the international prostate symptom score.In terms of improving maximum urinary flow rate,Xialiqi capsules combined with conventional western medicine had the best effect.Zegui Longshuang capsules combined with conventional western medicine had the best effect in reducing residual urine volume.In terms of reducing prostate volume,Relinqing granules combined with conventional western medicine had the best effect.The incidence of adverse reactions in the Chinese patent medicine combined with conventional western medicine group(8.27%)was lower than that in the conventional western medicine group(11.98%).Conclusion The existing evidence shows that compared with conventional western medicine alone,Chinese patent medicine combined with conventional western medicine is better than conventional western medicine alone in improving various clinical symptoms of BPH,and has better safety.Various proprietary Chinese patent medicines have different therapeutic focuses,and individualized medication can be used according to the specific symptoms of BPH patients in clinical treatment.Limited by the quantity and quality of the included studies,the above conclusions need to be verified by more high-quality studies.
3.Detection of Brucella abortus using an electrochemical immunosensor modified with PB-MWCNTs-GNPs

Objective To prepare a high performance electrochemical immunosensor for detecting Brucella abortus(B.abortus).Methods Prussian blue(PB),multi walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)and gold nanoparticles(GNPs)(PB-MWCNTs-GNPs)nanocomposites were prepared,and appropriate antibody was used to construct the immunosensor for detecting B.abortus samples.The optimal conditions were clarified by examining the key factors in sensor construction,and then the performance of the sensor was evaluated.Results The optimal construction conditions were determined as follows:the ratio of MWCNTs-PB was 1∶5,the drying temperature was 37 ℃,the pH value of buffer system was 7.5,and the incubation time of antibody and sample was 1 h and 30 min,respectively.B.abortus exhibited a good linear relationship,when ranging from 10 to 1 × 105 CFU/mL.The sensor had good anti-interference ability,repeatability,stability and high accuracy.Conclusion Our prepared PB-MWCNTs GNPs nanomaterials modified electrochemical immunosensor for detecting B.abortus is easy to prepare,has good performance,and can provide reference for the early clinical diagnosis of brucellosis.
