Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(01):-
Objective To investigate the characters of TCM syndromes of HIV/AIDS patients by intraveneous drug. Method Based on the TCM theories, related literature and experts' experience, the questionnaire was compiled and revised,170 patients were investigated one by one,and the data was analysed. Result The frequency lines in turn:spleen qi deficiency, liver depression with qi stagnation, kidney yin deficiency,phlegm-heat congestion of lung, disharmony of liver and stomach, lung qi deficiency, kidney deficiency of both yin and yang,qi deficiency,phlegm-damp congestion of lung, liver fire, heart yin deficiency. The excess syndromes lies in the liver and the lung. The deficiency syndromes lies in kidney, spleen and stomach, and lung. Conclusions The frequent syndromes in the study distinguished from the other congener study. It may be caused by many different contribution factors of patients and researchers.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2006;0(07):-
Objective To determine the optimum water-extracting technology of Mailuoning injection. Methods The orthogonal test was used to select the water extract technology of Mailuoning injection. Results The best technology was that crude drug was added 12 and 8 times water, then soaked 0.5 h, and extracted for l.5 and 1.0 h. Conclusion The study of technology provides the basis for further purification.
3.Effects of Fuzheng Yiliu Granule on expression of CD44v6 and nm23-H1 in esophageal carcinoma treated with radiotherapy
Journal of Integrative Medicine 2004;2(4):262-4
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effects of Fuzheng Yiliu Granule on the expression of CD44v6 and nm23-H1 in esophageal carcinoma treated with radiotherapy. METHODS: Sixty-three cases of esophageal carcinoma were randomly divided into two groups: Fuzheng Yiliu Granule plus radiotherapy treated group (n=30) and radiotherapy treated group (n=33). The carcinoma specimens were obtained through endoscopic biopsy before and after twenty-one days of treatment. The expression of CD44v6 and nm23-H1 was determined in the sixty-three specimens of esophageal carcinoma by immunohistochemical SABC methods. RESULTS: After twenty-one days of treatment, the positive rates of CD44v6 in the Fuzheng Yiliu Granule plus radiotherapy treated group and the radiotherapy treated group were 40.0% and 69.7%, respectively, and there was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). The positive rates of nm23-H1 in the Fuzheng Yiliu Granule plus radiotherapy treated group and the radiotherapy treated group were 20.0% and 21.2%, respectively, and the difference was not significant between the two groups (P>0.05). CONCLUSION: Fuzheng Yiliu Granule can lower the expression of CD44v6 in esophageal carcinoma, and may prevent infiltration and lymph node metastasis of esophageal carcinoma.
4.Application of No-tumor Touch Isolation and Killing Tumor Technique in Gastric Carcinoma Radical Cure
Journal of Chinese Physician 2000;0(11):-
Objective To investigate the application of no-tumor touch isolation and killing tumor technique in gastric cancer radical cure. Methods 52 patients with gastric cancer underwent D 4 radical therapy from October 1997 to October 2003 in our hospital. No-tumor touch isolation and killing tumor technique was applied to all the cases. 44 patients with gastric cancer received D 1 radical therapy without the application of no-tumor touch isolation and killing tumor technique served as control. The 5-year survival rate of the two groups was compared. Results There were not obvious post-operative complications in the two groups. The 5-year survival rate of D 4 and D 1 radical therapy groups were 42.3% and 18.2%, respectively(P

Objective To present a new method of motor power control in order to realize the precise motor power control of medical equipment. Methods The power control method based on PWM Modulation circuit was proposed by researching the DSP microcontroller TMS320LF240x. Results The test results fully satisfied the design requirements. Conclusion The system has simple structure, good programming, and can use different control algorithms in different applications without the need for change in the external circuit, which is easy to upgrade and meet the needs of special occasions.

Objective To discuss the prevention and treatment of bile duct injures io the gallbladder bed during laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC).Methods A retrospective analysis was made on clinical features, treatment, and curative effects of 15 cases of bile duct injures in the gallbladder bed out of 2 032 cases of LC from January 1997 to December 2004.Results There were 5 cases of acute attack of chronic calculous cholecystitis and 10 cases of chronic atrophic calculous cholecystitis. The location of injury was at the branches of the right hepatic ducts in 8 cases and at aberrant bile ducts in 7 cases. The injury was treated with titanium clipping in 8 cases, primary suture in 5 cases, and open surgery of bile duct repair in 2 cases because the injury was relativly large and the site of injury was near the trunk of the right hepatic duct.Postoperatively, bile leakage happened in 1 case and was cured by drainage for 5 days.Follow-up surveys for 6~36 months (mean,23 months) showed free of symptoms and no jaundice or cholangitis. Conclusions Surgical dissection closely near the gallbladder wall when mobilizing the gallbladder is the key to preventing bile duct injuries in the gallbladder bed during laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Prompt detection and proper management of the injury have satisfactory curative effects.

Objective To explore the effects of curdione on cognitive function and expression of inflammatory factors in the hippocampus after partial hepatectomy in aged mice. Methods The animals were divided into control group, sham group, operation group, and high-, medium-and low-dose curdione groups. The model of partial hepatectomy in aged mice was established according to the method reported in literature. The levels of SOD, MDA, CAT and GSH-Px in the hippocampus were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), while the expressions of NF-κB, IL-1β, IL-6 and TNF-α were measured by Western blot. Results The escape latency was significantly increased (P<0.01), and the number of platform-site crossovers was significantly decreased in operation group (P<0.05).Compared with those in operation group, curdione significantly decreased escape latency and increased platform-site crossovers (P<0.05, P<0.05).The levels of SOD, CAT and GSH-Px in the hippocampus were significantly decreased (P<0.05) and the content of MDA was significantly increased after partial hepatectomy (P<0.01), and these were reversed by curdione (P<0.05, P<0.05, respectively). The expressions of NF-κB, IL-1β, IL-6 and TNF-α protein were significantly inhibited by curdione (P<0.05).Conclusion Curdione can significantly improve cognitive dysfunction after partial hepatectomy in aged mice and the mechanism may be related to its inhibition of oxidative stress, inhibition of NF-κB activation and reduction of inflammatory cytokines IL-1β, IL-6 and TNF-α in the hippocampus.

Varian C 18 column, mobile phase: MeOH H 2O (15∶85); detection wavelength: 204 nm, flow rate: 0.5 mL/min. Results The content of aucubin and its recovery in three medicinal plants were as follows: aucubin in P. decora, in P. davidii and P. artselaeri were 0.90%, 1.94%, 0.95%; recovery rates were 102.3%, 98.2%, 97.6% in P. artelaeri. Conclusion Medicinal plants of Pedicularis Linn. has a good exploiting prospect, the research can provide the reference for evaluating of these medicinal herbs
