Objective To establish the basis of molecular systematics of Angelica from different areas of Gansu province so as to offer molecular basis of identification Gansu-produced Angelica with geoherbalism. Methods The ITS gene of Angelica was obtained by PCR and sequenced to be analyzed by DNAStar software to calculate the genetic distance among different specimens. Results The ITS sequence of Angelica between Min County and Zhang County of Gansu Province shows trivial differences with the range of 0.000 0～0.008 3. All 5 Min County-produced Angelica specimens have same bases at 586 site with "C" and 589 site with "T" with Zhang County-produced Angelica DG9 specimen, whereas the 586 site and 589 site bases of the other 3 Zhang County-produced Angelica specimens are "T" and "G" respectively. Conclusion The ITS sequence characteristics can be recognized as effective molecular marker of Angelica, and both 586 site base and 589 site base of the ITS sequence of Angelica can be recognized as identification bases of Min County-produced Angelica.

Objective To investigate the effects of uterine resection and uterine arterial embolization on the function of ovary. Methods The serum concentrations of estrin(E 2), progestogen(P), follicule stimulating hormone(FSH), luteotropic hormone(LH) and prolactin(PRL) were measured in 15 patients with uterine resection and 22 patients with uterine arterial embolization; including 23 patients with uterine leiomyoma and 29 normal women. We compared the results of the five hormones in each group. Results The serum concentrations of E 2 and P in the group of uterine resection were lower than the normal control group, there was a significant difference between them. Compared the serum concentrations of E 2 and P in the group of uterine arterial embolization and normal control group, there was no significant difference. The serum concentration of PRL in the group of uterine leiomyoma was higher than the normal control group with significant difference. When the uterus was resected or uterine artery was embolished, the serum concentration of PRL decreased remarkably. Conclusions Uterine resection has effects on the function of ovary, but uterine arterial embolization would not. PRL may be one of the factors causing the formation of uterine leiomyoma.

In the present study, we investigated effects of Chk1/2 siRNA on curcumin-induced apopotosis in hepatoma cell line Huh7 and evaluated the effectiveness of Chk1/2 as a therapeutic target to potentiate human hepatoma to curcumin. Methods:Effect of curcumin on the cell cycle checkpoint-associated proteins was detected by Western blot. The knockdown efficacy of Chk1/2 siRNA was measured by RT-PCR and Western blot. Effect of Chk1/2 siRNA on curcumin-induced apoptosis in Huh7 cells was evaluated by DAPI staining. Effect of Chk1/2 siRNA on cell cycle distribution in curcumin-treated Huh7 cells was analyzed by flow cytometry. Results:Curcumin significantly inhibited phosphorylation of cell cycle checkpoint-associtaed proteins Chk1(S317), Cdc25C(S216) and Cdk1(Y15). Objective: To compile and evaluate the Chinese version of perioperative nursing quality assessment scale, detect and verify the reliability and validity of evaluation scale, and establish a scientiifc evaluation system. Methods: We applied Tuija Leinonene and Helena Leino-kilpi scales as the theoretical framework, and established perioperative nursing quality assessment scale by translation, language study, and expert consultation. hTe questionnaire survey population was 276 patients who had surgery and 200 nurses working in the operating rooms at the 3 Affliated Hospitals of Central South University. hTe scale was tested validity and reliability. Results: Perioperative nurse quality evaluation scale consisted of 32 items and 7 dimensions, including body care, receive information, support, respect, medical staff characteristics, environment and nursing process. The test-retest reliability of scale was 0.977 for patients and 0.997 for nurses. hTe split half reliability of scale was 0.761 for patients and 0.887 for nurses. hTe Cronbach's α of total scale for the patients was 0.918, and the Cronbach's α of factors was 0.658-0.838. hTe Cronbach's α of total scale for the nurses was 0.932, and the Cronbach's α of factors was 0.650-0.836. hTe correlation coeffcient of scale for the patients was 0.363-0.603; the factors and the total correlation coeffcient was 0.535-0.788. hTe correlation coeffcient of scale for the nurses was 0.410-0.700; the factors and the total correlation coeffcient was 0.743-0.902. Conclusion: The Chinese version of the perioperative nursing quality assessment scale is a measurement instrument with a high level of validity and reliability for Chinese society and can be used to determine the quality of perioperative nursing care in our country.

Conclusion: Chk1 siRNA sensitized Huh7 cells to curcumin-induced apoptosis, suggesting that Chk1 is a potential therapeutic target to sensitize human hepatoma to curcumin.

Objective To summarize the clinical experience of ESWL under B ultrasound guidance in treatment of urinary stones.Methods The clinical data of 20 625 patients who underwent B ultrasound-guided ESWL between August 1995 and July 2011 were retrospectively analyzed.Of the stones,8659cases were in the kidney,11 712 cases were in the ureter,and 254 cases were in the bladder.And 1965stones were radioparent.Results The stone fragmentation rates of the kidney,ureter and bladder stones were 96.27％ ( 8336/8659),97.56％ ( 1 1 426/1 1 712) and 99.21％ ( 252/254),respectively.The total stone fragmentation rate was 97.04％ (20 014/20 625 ).The 3-month stone-free rates of the kidney,ureter and bladder stones were 86.63％ (7501/8659),95.32％ ( 11 164/11 712) and 97.24％ (247/254),respectively.The total 3-month stone-free rate was 91.69％ (18 912/20 625).The stone fragmentation rate of radioparent stones was 97.91％ ( 1924/1965 ),and the 3-month stone-free rate was 94.40％ ( 1855/1965).Conclusion B ultrasound-guided ESWL is safe and effective in the treatment of urinary stones.

Objective To discuss effect of centralized training of basic operational skills for nursing students before nursing practice. Methods 176 student nurses in 2007 were set as the control group,320 nursing students in 2008 as the experimental group. The control group began practice after routine pre -practice education, based upon this, the experimental group carried out centralized training of basic operational skills for one week, only those who passed the examination could began practice, those who failed the examination should continued the training till they passed the examination. Time cost to master the operational skills, operational assessment results and evaluation of nursing practice by teachers were compared between the two groups. Results Compared to the control group, time cost to master the operational skills shortened, operational assessment results and evaluation of nursing practice by teachers improved in the experimental group. Conclusions Through centralized training of basic operational skills, time cost to master the operating skills of basic nursing by nursing students shortened, operational capability of nursing students can be improved, and the clinical nursing teaching quality can be promoted.

AIM: The roles of Cl-channels in regulatory volume decrease (RVD), cell proliferation and cell cycle progression in nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells (CNE-2Z) were investigated. METHODS: Image analysis of living cells was used to detect the volume changes following exposure to hypotonic solutions. Cell viability was determined by the trypan blue assay. MTT method was applied to detected cell proliferation. The effect of the blocker on the cell cycle distribution was monitored by the flow cytometry. RESULTS: 5-nitro-2-(3-phenylpropylamino) benzoic acid (NPPB) inhibited RVD and cell proliferation in a dose-dependent manner. NPPB at the concentration of 100 ?mol/L arrested cells in G 1 phase (G 1 population increased from 54% to 71% at 48 h after treatments), but did not significantly alter cell viability. CONCLUSION: Block of chloride channels suppressed cell proliferation by arresting cells in G 1 phase. The results suggest that activation of Cl-channels and RVD is necessary for facilitating cells to proceed to the S phase from G 1 phase and maintaining cell proliferation.

Non-invasive mechanical ventilation(NIV)is increasingly being used as a respiratory support technique in clinical practice.However,the pressure-related injuries should not be overlooked.In order to prevent local pressure injuries caused by NIV technology,a series of preventive measures have been adopted in clinical work.These measures include the use of dressings to provide pressure relief to the local skin.Currently,in clinical practice,when using preventive dressings,nurses need to cut them themselves based on the physiological structure of the patient's nose,forehead,or face.However,precise cutting can be challenging.If the dressing is cut too small,it may not provide adequate prevention,and if it's cut too large,it can cover too much skin,affecting the nurse's observation and the patient's comfort.Additionally,during NIV treatment,the preventive dressings used may become curled or displaced,requiring nurses to re-cut and replace them.This process inevitably leads to material wastage,increasing the cost of dressing use for patients.Moreover,the cutting tools used must meet infection control requirements,adding to the nursing workload and reducing the compliance of nurses in changing dressings.Our research team has designed a ready-made pressure injury prevention dressing component for use with NIV masks to prevent pressure injuries to the nasal and facial areas.It is precisely designed,flexible in composition,easy to use,and can provide multiple usage modes.It effectively combines emergency care with pressure relief measures,reducing the occurrence of pressure injuries to the patient's nasal and facial areas.This improves patient comfort and treatment compliance,facilitates technology-based nursing,and enhances clinical efficiency.It has significant clinical application value and has been granted a National Utility Model Patent(ZL 202020529121.6).
