International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2010;18(7):507-512
Medullary syndrome is a group of syndromes caused by medullary lesions, which is characterized by ipsilateral cranial nerve damage symptoms combining contralateral conductive fasciculus type sensory disturbance or hemiplegia.Medullary infarction is a major cause of medullary syndrome.Knowing medullary syndrome will have some help for the diagnosis and treatment of medullary vascular disease.
2.Study on decomposed recipes of traditional Chinese medicine
Journal of Integrative Medicine 2003;1(3):173-6
OBJECTIVE: To introduce and analyze the present status of research on decomposed recipes of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). METHODS: The relevant literature on the study of the decomposed recipes of TCM in the past five years was collected and analyzed. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Studies on the decomposed recipes of TCM have been made from the whole body level to the organ, cell and molecular research level. The pharmacological research in vitro is the main way and quantitative changes of the chemical ingredients have been measured before and after composition. It is very important to combine the modern science and technology in exploring the composing mechanisms of TCM remedies.
3.Antiplatelet agent resistance and prevention and treatment of stroke
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2013;21(5):378-384
A large number of studies have confirmed that antiplatelet agents reduce the relative risk of stroke, myocardial infarction,or death by an average of 22%.However,many patients still have thrombotic events during the period of taking anti-platelet agents, and this is called anti-platelet agent resistance. Its incidences reported are very different. The incidence of aspirin is 3% to 85%,and that of clopidogrel is 28% to 44%.The exact cause of antiplatelet agent resistance remains unclear. It may be associated with several factors, including decreased drug bioavailability, genetic polymorphisms, activation of other platelet activation pathways, and increased circulating platelets.Currently,a variety of laboratory methods have been used to detect antiplatelet agent resistance, its criteria are different. In addition, the response measures of antiplatelet agent resistance also have no conclusion, and this has brought greater difficulties for the prevention and treatment of stroke.
4.Building Up Health Care System in Rural Areas to Set up a Society in Harmony
Chinese Medical Ethics 1994;0(05):-
Setting up a society in harmony is one of important abilities of our Party being in power.Right health care system in rural areas is one of important contents of setting up socialist society in harmony. This article argues from three aspects that setting up a society in harmony is mankind's moral ideal, building up health care system in rural areas is to appeal to morality which sets up a society in harmony, and building up health care system must be strengthened. But the writer thinks that there are many lacks now.So we should take some steps to build and complete the health care system in rural areas,it is significant for setting up a society in harmony.

Objective To investigate the clinical significance and the content of soluble P selection in the patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease(ICVD)Methods Using the means of an enzyme linked immunosorbent assay, the contents of soluble P selectin (sP selection) were measured in 28 patients with ICVD,45 patients with stroke and 33 health persons. We observed its content changes form atherosclerosis to different stages of ICVD,and the effect of M ASA.Results sP selection in different stages of ICVD group was higher than in the patients with atherosclerosis( P

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(2):423-429
An automatic control system was designed to suppress pathological tremor on wrist joint with two degrees of freedom (DoF) using functional electrical stimulation (FES). The tremor occurring in the wrist flexion-extension and adduction-abduction was expected to be suppressed. A musculoskeletal model of wrist joint was developed to serve as the control plant, which covered four main muscles (extensor carpi radialis longus, extensor carpi ulnaris, flexor carpi radialis, and flexor carpi ulnaris). A second-order mechanical impedance model was used to describe the wrist skeletal dynamics. The core work was to design the controller and a hybrid control strategy was proposed, which combined inverse model based on feed forward control and linear quadratic regulator (LQR) optimal control. Performance of the system was tested under different input conditions (step signal, sinusoidal signal, and real data of a patient)., The results indicated that the proposed hybrid controller could attenuate over 94% of the tremor amplitude on multi-DoF wrist joint.

Chinese Journal of Radiology 2009;43(4):397-401
Objective To assess the feasibility of intestitial MR lymphangiography (MRL) with subcutaneous injection of a commercially available,non-ionic,extracellular paramagnetic contrast agent,to visualize lymphatic vessels in patients with primary lymphedema. Methods Forty lower extremities in 31 patients with clinically advanced stages of primary lymphedema were examined with magnetic resonance lymphangiography.A 1 ml mixed liquor of gadobenate dimeglumine and mepivacainhydrochloride were injected subcutaneously into the dorsal aspect of both feet For MRL,a 3D fast spoiled gradient-recalled echo T1-weighted images with a fat saturation technique (T1 high resolution isotropic volume excitation,THRIVE) were performed after subcutaneous application of the contrast material To outline lymphatic vessels, source images were used to reconstruct images of MIP.The SNR and CNR of enhanced lymphatic vessels and veins were measured and calculated respectively. The significance of the differences of the data comparisons was assessed using an unpaired student t teat. Results Of the 40 lower extremities, the beaded appearance of dilated lymphatic vessels was detected in 36 lower legs (90.0%) and 17 upper legs (42.5%).The numbers of the dilated lymphatic vessels displayed in all segments of lower extremities added up to 365 and its mean diameter was (3.4 ± 0.1) mm on MRL MIP image. The average SNR and CNR were 257 ±130,207 ± 113 in the dilated lymphatic vessels and 218 ± 129,152 ± 113 in the vein respectively, which was statistically significant (SNR t = -2.649,CNR t = -3.404,P <0.01).Contrast enhancement was observed in 30/40 inguinal lymph node groups (75.0%).In 26 lower extremities (65.0%) collateral vessels with dermal back-flow areas between lymphatic vessels were seen. Conclusions As a novel tool to image the pathologically modified lymphatic vessels in patients with clinically advanced stage of primary lymphedema, magnetic resonance lymphangiography is a safe, useful technique.

Objective To introduce a new technique about reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament(ACL) by transplantation of autogenous hamstring and fixation with a crossbar(Transfix Ⅱ) under arthroscopy and explore its effect on short term. Methods 72 patients with ACL injury were treated with ACL reconstruction by transplantation of autogenous semitendinous and gracilis tendon, fixed by a crossbar in femur end and a bio-absorbable interface screw in tibial tunnel. 2 cases of meniscus neoplasty, 31 partial meniscectomy, 8 large partial meniscectomy, 16 cartilage trimming, and 15 medial collateral ligament neoplasty, as well as 1 patellar tendon neoplasty were performed simultaneously. Pre- and post-operative knee joint function and stability as well as X-ray photograph were evaluated according to the Lysholm scoring scale system. The reliability of the fixation and its short-term effect were analyzed. Results 65 patients were available for follow-up with the duration from 8 to 36 months. The function of knee joint improved greatly. 8 cases had positive finding in physical examination. The average pre- and post-operative Lysholm score were 56?6.3 and 91?4.8, respectively(P
