2.Progress in the influences of calcineurin and transient receptor potential cation channel 6 on podocyte cytoskeleton
International Journal of Pediatrics 2013;(2):135-138
Podocyte is a crucial part of glomerular filtration barrier, whose injury usually cause proteinufla. The structural and functional integrity of podocyte cytoskeleton is a prerequisite for its normal physiological function, and injury of actin-centered cytoskeleton is thought to be the final common path of the foot process fusion of podocyte.Calcineurin(CaN) is a research focus since it was discovered to be the target of cyclospofine and tacrolimus in 1991,while TRPC6 was a newly found protein located at slit diaphragm,a zip-like structure formed by adjacent interdigitated foot process.New evidences support that CaN and TRPC6 mediate injury of podocyte cytoskeleton, interestingly, interactions between CaN and TRPC6 also play a role in regulating cytoskeleton, which remain unrevealed mostly. This review aims to summary the new progress of influences of CaN and TRPC6 on cytoskeleton.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2010;25(5):367-369
Objective To evaluate therapeutic effect of transluminal angioplasty and stenting on arteriosclerosis related iliac arterial occlusive disease. Methods This retrospective study included a total of 61 cases (76 limbs) with iliac arterial atherosclerotic occlusive disease, grading as TASC A (n =29),B (n = 16), C (n = 11) and D (n = 5). Percutaneous interventional reconstruction and stent implantation were carried out in our hospital from December 2002 to December 2008. Results In 61 patients (76 lesions) 63 stents were implanted successfully with the success rate of 93% (71/76). The rate of clinical improvement was 100% among the patients who had primary technical success. The ankle-branchial index (ABI) improved from an average of 0. 33 ± 0. 17 before intervention to 0. 72 ± 0. 20 on the day following intervention (P < 0. 05). All cases were followed up between 6 month and 60 month. One year patency rate in all treated lesions was 90% (92% in the TASC A and B, 84% in the TASC C and D).Three year patency rate in all was 75% (80% in the TASC A and B, 63% in the TASC C and D). Five year patency rate was 72%. Conclusion There is a tendency towards utilizing transluminal angioplasty and stenting to treat iliac arterial occlusive disease as a therapy instead of traditional vascular surgery.

Objective To investigate the action of ulinastatin in protection of hepatic-renal function in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) receiving emergency percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods 104 patients with acute myocardial infarction were randomly selected and divided into a study group (n = 55) and a control group (n = 49). The study group received intravenous ulinastatin of 300,000 units one hour before PCI, and 300,000 units daily for 3 days after the procedure; while the control group received the same amount of normal saline instead of ulinastatin before and after PCI. Levels of AST, ALT, and CRE were compared between the two groups and CCR was counted before and 72 hours after the procedure. Result Serum AST level was increased and CCR was decreased after PCI; and the change in the study group was lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). ALT level was declined in the study group but was elevated in the control group after the procedure, with a significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.05). Conclusions Ulinastatin can protect hepatic-renal function in patients undergoing emergency PCI, lowering contrast-induced nephropathy and damage of liver and kidneys.

Chinese Journal of Digestion 2001;0(02):-
Objective Laser induced fluorescence spectroscopy have been used in early diagnosis of GI cancer, but the device is expensive and inconvenient. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness and feasibility of a new device designed by the authors. Methods Two formulas were set up based on the analysis of OMA data and a new system was established. Fifteen samples of normal tissue and 40 cases of endoscopic diagnosed cancer were tested. Results (1) First formula: general energy of fluorescence was W 359~659 nm . (2) The second: the ratio of energy integral was W 359~460 nm /W 460~659 nm . (3) The sensitivity and specificity were 93.3% and 100.0% for 15 samples of gastro intestinal cancer in vitro and were 90.0% and 92.5% respectively for gastrointestinal cancer endoscopically. Conclusions (1) The deviec may help doctors to determine the characteristics of lesion in endoscopy and the efficacy of the instrument was the same as OMA system. (2) The cost was about one tenth of that for OMA system.

Chinese Journal of Digestion 1998;0(06):-
Objective To study the relationship between gastric mucosa associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma and Helicobacter pylori (H.pyori) infection retrospectively. Methods The paraffin embedded samples of the tumors in gastric intestinal tract and its corresponding normal tissues from 35 patients with non Hondgkin's lymphomas in gastric intestinal tract were sectioned. The slides, except routine histopathologic study, were submitted to immuno histochemical staining (CD 3,CD 5,CD 10 ,CD 20 ,C 23 ,CD 45 RO, kappa, lamda, cyclin, Ki67, TUNEL) and to HE staining for the detection of H. pylori infection. Results ①Twenty one cases were identified to be MALT lymphomas according to the results of immunohistochemical staining, of them 16 cases were gastric MALT lymphomas, 1 case of intestinal MALT lymphoma, and 4 cases of colonic MALT lymphomas. ② H. pylori infection in gastric MALT lymphoma was 100% except in 3 cases who had only tumor tissues, which could not be evaluated. ③ Two cases were stage Ⅰ 1 gastric MALT lymphomas, 5 were stage Ⅱ 1,and 9 were stage Ⅱ E. ④ Only 6 cases had recognized as gastric MALT lymphomas by endoscopy and biopsy. Three patients were misdiagnosed as gastric cancer, 1 as M?n?trier disease, 1 as atrophic gastritis, and 5 as chronic gastritis endoscopiclly. ⑤ One patient got a complete regression after 3 courses of anti H. pylori therapy and was in good health after 3 years of the treatment. Conclusions ① A close relation was present between H.pyloi infection and gastric MALT lymphoma. ② Early gastric MALT lymphoma may regress after eradication of H.pylori.
