Objective To determine the colorific value of Matrimory Vine in Qinhai. Method Calorific value of Qinghai matrimony-vine was determined by the method of oxygen bomb type-calorimeter instrument. Results Combustion heat of Qinghai matrimony-vine was 18.36 kJ/g. Conclusion The method is easy and reliable, and its principle is accurate. The data may provide a scientific basis for people’s diet structure and medical use.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the effect of transabdominal gastric fundusectomy plus distal esophagectomy in patients suffering from portal hypertension. MethodsEighteen portal hypertension patients with a history of bleeding esophageal varix were treated by this procedure on elective basis.ResultsAll cases were followed up for an average of 46 months. There was no recurrent hemorrhage and no mortality during the follow-up.ConclusionsThis procedure is well tolerated by the patients with definite immediate effect and low recurrent bleeding rate.

Objective To extract the flavomids from orange peel and determine the content of total flavmoids in orange peel. Methods The total flavonoids in orange peel were determined by using hesperidine as standard sample and edible alcohol as extraction solvent. Results The total content of flavonids is 19.44 g/kg. Conclusion The method is simple and reproducible. It provides a scientific basis for using orange peel.

Objective To compare the influence of the continuous airway humidification with microp-ump and the discontinuous dripping technique on patients. Methods Randomized grouping method was adopted, 25 cases with tracheotomy in the observation group used continuous airway humidification with micro-pump, 24 cases in the control group used dripping technique via airway for airway humidification. The two groups were compared retrospectively. Results The oxygen saturation rate in the observation group increased compared with that of the control group, sputum callus formation, irritating cough, airway bleeding and pul-monary infection was significantly lower than those of the control group. Condusious The effect of continu-ous airway humidification with micro- pump is superior to the traditional method of inconsistent endotracheal dripping, the former can also decrease nursing workload of airway humidification.

Objective To investigate the influence of cognitive training on patients with Alzheimer's disease. Methods 30 patients received cognitive function training based upon drug treat-ment. Patients were assessed with mini- mental state examination (MMSE) and functional independence measure(FIM) before and after treatment, the results went through t test. Results After training, cog-nitive function and self- care ability after treatment greatly alleviated compared with those before train-ing. Conclusions Cognitive training can improve cognitive function and self- care ability of patients with Alzheimer's disease and facilitate their life quality.

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of warfarin in the prevention of cerebral infarction in nonvalvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF). Methods One hundred and thirty-six NVAF patients were randomized into warfarin group [receiving adjusted-dose warfarin,international normalized ratio(INR)was 2.0 - 3.0], aspirin group( receiving aspirin 100 mg/d) and control group (treated without anticoagulants )by random digits table. Followed up 18 months, and the main end point events and adverse effect of the three groups were compared. Results In 136 cases,4 cases lost,and 77 cases(58.3%) were male. The mean dose of warfarin was(2.5 ± 1.0) mg. During the follow-up period, main end point events occurred in 12 cases,with 1 case (2.50%, 1/40) in warfarin group, 4 cases(9.52%, 4/42 ) in aspirin group and 7 cases ( 14.00%, 7/50)in control group. There was no significant difference in main end point events among the three groups ( x2 =2.084,P =0.353). But in the patients with 3 or above risk factors,there was significant difference in the survival curve among the three groups ( x2 = 6.404, P = 0.041 ). The incidence rate of bleeding was higher in warfarin group than that in aspirin group,but there was no significant difference [5.00%(2/40) vs. 2.38%(1/42),P ＞ 0.05]. Conclusions Warfarin can improve survival rate especially in the patients with 3 or above risk factors,and the complication of bleeding occurs mostly when INR ＞ 3.0.Under closed monitoring (INR 2.0-3.0),adjusted-dose warfarin is safety and efficacy.

Objective To study the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cystadenoma and cystadenocarcinoma.Methods The clinical data of 21 surgically treated patients of the cystic neoplasms of pancreas(CNP),confirmed by pathology,in recent 8 years were retrospectively analyzed.Results CNP was more frequently seen in young to middle-aged women.Upper abdominal mass and abdominal distention and pain were the main clinical presentations.The CNP resection rate was 95%(100%and 80%in benign and malignant CNP respectively).Of the 21cases,pancreaticoduodenectomy and distal pancreatectomy were performed in 2 and 16 respectively;and middle segment pancreatectomy in 2 patients.Postoperative pancreatic fistula was the leading complication.Conclusion CNP have no clinical characteristics.Ultrasonography and CT could be helpful to the diagnosis of CNP.The resection of the whole tumor with part paratumor pancreas tissue is advocated.

Objective The objective of this study was to investigate the imaging findings of 18 F-FDG PET-CT in patients with multiple myeloma(MM).Methods Fifteen patients with multiple myeloma were enrolled in our hospital from January 2014 to October 2016.The clinical data of these patients were retrospectively analyzed to obtain the range of SUVmax values by 18F-FDG PET-CT imaging performance.Results Fifteen MM patients with 18F-FDG PET-CT showed a total number of lesions 202,the number of lesions 176 in PET and the number of lesions 171 in CT.The SUVmax range of 18F-FDG PET-CT imaging in the diagnosis of MM was 1.41 ～ 16.28.Fourteen cases of 15 MM patients were found varying degrees of bone destruction;one case showed a slightly increased bone density and also slightly increased FDG metabolic activity.Bone destruction was more performance for the chisel-like,osteolytic,swelling and flaky bone destruction.The osteogenesis lesions were rare.Conclusion 18F-FDG PET-CT imaging can clearly show the imaging features of MM by combining functional metabolic and anatomical information,and provide more clues for clinical diagnosis,which can improve the diagnostic accuracy of MM.

Objective To evaluate the effect of limited fluid resuscitation treatments on the hemorrhagic traumatic shock in order to improve the cure rate. Methods Forty cases of the hemorrhagic traumatic shock patient were randomly divided into the regular fluid resuscitation group (n=21, regular group) and the limited fluid resuscitation group (n=19, limited group). In regular group, fast infusion of the full quantity fluid underwent in the early stage before hemostasia, keeping systolic blood pressure ≥ 90 mm Hg 1mm Hg=0.133 kPa. In limited group, infusion of fluid was limited before hemostasia, keeping average MAP at 6.65 kPa, then blood transfuse and fluid infusion underwent after hemostasia. After hemostasia, two groups kept MAP at 9.31～10.64 kPa. Results Three cases died in regular group, and the cure rate was 85.7%. No death in limit group, and the cure rate was 100%. Objective To investigate the effects of EEF1 A2 on growth and proliferation of the human pancreatic cancer cell line SW1990. MethodsThe EEF1 A2 gene was introduced into pancreatic cancer cell line SW1990 by adenovirus vector. The effects of EEF1 A2 on the growth of human pancreatic cancer cell were measured by MTT. Cell cycle was detected by flow cytometry and cell growth rate was examined by soft agar cloning formation test. ResultsAfter EEF1A2 induction, the expression of EEFA1 A 2 mRNA in pancreatic cancer cell line SW1990 increased, value of A750 at 72 h was 1. 2996 ±0. 2091, number of cells was 81250, cloning efficiency at 14 d was 82%, all of these parameters were significantly higher than those in the groups of blank adenoviras vector and PBS groups (P <0.05 ) ; the percentage of G1 phase cell was 28.5%, which was significantly lower than those in the groups of blank adenovirus vector and PBS groups; the percentage of Sphase ceil was 60.9%, which was significantly higher than those in the groups of blank adenovirus vector and PBS groups (P < 0.05 ). ConclusionsEEF1 A2 gene significantly enhanced cell growth and proliferation in human pancreatic cancer in vitro.
