Objective:To evaluate the effect of HRCT in diagnosis of the sacroiliac joint of ankylosing spondylitis(AS).Methods:HRCT scanning of sacroiliac joints were performed in 86 adult patients with AS.CT findings were reviewed.Rank test was used for statistical analysis of the grade of sacroiliac joint changes in two groups based on course of disease and the sex of patients.Results:The CT findings of the sacroiliac joint changes in AS included erosion,arthrosclerosis,change of joint space,arthrokleisis,gas and soft tissue in articular cavity.Pathologic changes were more obvious with the course of disease prolonged (P0.01).In the group during the same course,pathologic changes were more marked in female patients than those in male ones(P0.01).Conclusion:HRCT can show tiny structures of sacroitiac joint clearly.This is beneficial to recognize different patologic changes and make correct diagnosis.

Objective To report the clinical manifestation and gene mutation of congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis (CIPA) in two patients from one family. Methods The data of clinical manifestation, laboratory examination, and family history of two patients were collected. The peripheral blood of patients and their parents were collected. Neurotrophic tyrosine kinase receptor type 1 (NTRK 1 ) gene was detected directly by Sanger method, the pathogenicity of the mutation in the gene was analyzed by bioinformatics. Results Both of patients were female and mainly suffered with reduplicated non-infectious fever, anhidrosis, insensitive to pain, and mental retardation. The proband had fracture many times after minor injury. The ninth exon of NTRK 1 genes in the proband and her younger sister were found to have heterozygous mutations, c. 851-33 T>A, as previously reported. Meanwhile, there was also found a new mutation, c. 1711 G>A (p.G 571 S), in thirteenth exon of NTRK 1 genes in these two patients. It was predicted to be a harmful mutation by bioinformatics and the mutation site is conservative. Their father and mother were found carrying the c. 851-33 T>A and c. 1711 G>A mutations respectively. Conclusion Both patients had typical clinical manifestations. And the newly discovered p.G 571 S mutation expands the mutation spectrum of NTRK 1 gene.

Objective To evaluate the effects of therapy with small volume of different fluids on renal blood flow in endotoxemia rats.Methods Thirty parthogen-free SD rats weighing 180-250 g were randomly divided into 5 groups (n = 6 each):group Ⅰ control; group Ⅱ LPS; group Ⅲ LPS + 7.5 % hypertonic saline (HS);group Ⅳ LPS + hydrozyethly starch (HES) 130/0.4 and groupⅤ LPS + hypertonic saline plus hydroxyethly starch (HS-HES) 40. The animals were anesthetized with intraperitoneal 3% pentobarbital 40 mg/kg. Left carotid artery was cannulated for BP and HR monitoring and fluid administration. In groupⅡ-Ⅴ LPS 1 mg/kg was administered via arterial cannula. In group Ⅲ, Ⅳ and V 4 ml/kg of 7.5% HS, HES 130/0.4 AND HS-HES 40 were administered via arterial cannula respectively at 30 min after LPS administration.In groupⅠ and Ⅱ normal saline 4 ml/kg was given insteadt. Renal blood flow was measured with Doppler ultrasound before LPS (T1 ,baseline), at 30 min after LPS (T2), 10, 30 and 60 min after fluid therapy (T3, T4, T5). The animals were then sacrificed and both kidneys were removed for microscopic examination with light microscope. Results Renal blood flow was significantly decreased and was significantly recovered to some extent by therapy with different fluids especially with HS-HES 40 in group Ⅴ. Conclusion Therapy with small volume of HS,HES or HS-HES could increase renal blood flow and inprove renal microcirculation especially HS-HES.

The protective effect of selenium ( Se ) on cobalt cardiomyopathy was investigated in rats given cobalt chloride ( 5 mg/kg?d-1?7 i.p.). Pretreatment of Se (50 ?g/kg?d-1 ?14 i.p.) could protect the myocardium injured by Co as demonstrated by the decrease in plasma CPK and GOT activities and absence of histopathologic abnormalities. Se contents in hearts and the cardiac glutathione peroxidase activity were increased, but the level of lipid peroxide in the heart was unaltered after i.p. Se. As compared with the Co group rats, SDH reaction was increased in intensity, lipid staining and free fatty acid contents in myocardium of the Se + Co group were decreased to the normal extent, indicating that the protective effect of Se appeared to be related to the prevention of the cobalt-induced inhibition of SDH and disturbance of lipid metabolism in the heart.

Strong clutters are produced by the echo waves from the debris when the life detector based on radar locates the living human subject under the debris, which makes the life detector work abnormally because the amplifier is saturate. A canceling technology for the strong clutters is provided to solve the problems discussed above in this paper. The canceling technology for the strong clutters can provide methods and theories in practice by constructing and simulating the mathematic model in the computer, analyzing and discussing the results.

Objective This study was designed to determine the in vitro sensitivity of LMWH caused by different reagents,and to explore whether the ACT can be used to monitor LMWH.Methods This study was performed in vitro.ACT was measured with different reagents(glass beads,celite,and kaolin)on volunteer(n =30)blood samples spiked with increasing concentrations of LMWH(datleparin,0.2-1.8IU/ml).Linear regression analysis was performed to establish a regression equation from different concentration of datleparin and corresponding ACT values.Results Analysis of dose-response curves obtained in vitro,an excellent linear relationship was observed between the ACT and dalteparin concentrations for all three reagents(p less than 0.01).Differences in slope of the regression curves of ACT were observed with all the reagents tested(glass beads 249.7s/IU,celite 77.7s/IU,and kaolin 59.3s/IU,p less than 0.01).Reagents vary widely in their in-vitro sensitivity related to dalteparin.In the concentration range of 0.2-1.8 IU/ml,the gaolin reagent was insensitive to dalteparin,and glass beads was the most suitable reagent for monitoring the anticoagulant effect of dalteparin.Conclusions Glass beads,celite,and kaolin.Glass beads were the most suitable reagent for monitoring the anticoagulant effect of dalteparin.Vary widely in their in-vitro sensitivity related to datleparin.

Objective To construct pEGFP-C1-HSP27 recombinant eukaryotic expression vector and establish human pancreatic cancer SW1990 cell line stably expressing HSP27.Methods RT-PCR was applied to amplify human HSP27 cDNA from human pancreatic cancer SW1990 cells with a pair of specific primers carrying a restriction enzyme site BamH Ⅰ or Hind Ⅲ on each 5' end.HSP27 cDNA was inserted into pEGFP-C1 vector and then identified by restriction enzyme digestion and sequencing.Successful constructed pEGFP-C1-HSP27 or empty vector was transfected into SW1990 cells by lipofectamine 2000,respectively.The location of HSP72 was determined by fluoroscopy,RT-PCR and Western blot was used to detect the expression of HSP27 in transfected cell.Results The DNA sequence of pEGFP-C1-HSP27 recombinant plasmid was completely correct,and it was successfully transfected into SW1990 cell lines and stably transfected SW1990 cell lines were obtained,which were confirmed by restriction enzyme and sequencing.The expression of EGFP was distributed in cytoplasm,the HSP27mRNA expression was significantly increased (1.458 ± 0.160vs0.897 ±0.051,P ＜0.05).In addition,it was showed that EGFP-HSP27 fusion protein was expressed.Conclusions The eukaryotic expression vector pEGFP-C1-HSP27 was constructed successfully and stably transfected SW1990 cell line expressing HSP27 was obtained.

Objective To study the shadowing effect when using UWB bio-radar to detect multiple static human targets to solve the problem in multi-target detection.Methods With simulated breathing apparatus as detection targets,the UWB bioradar multi static targets respiration detection experiment was designed,and the influences of distance and angle between targets and its respiratory frequency and amplitude on the shadowing effect were studied.Result The shadowing effect was mainly affected by the relative position of the multiple targets,while the respiratory frequency and amplitude of the target had less influence on it.Conclusion When multi static human targets are detected the shadowing effect does exist,and the effect mainly derives from the block of electromagnetic wave by the front target,while the change of respiratory parameters of the front target has little influence on the effect.

[Objective]This study was designed to investigate the effects of small volume resuscitation with different fluids on the lung of endotoxie rats.[Methods]Thirty SD rats weighting 180-250 g were divided randomly into 5 groups(n=6):Group C[lipopolysaccharide(LPS)negative control group],Group E(LPS+4 mL/kg physiologic saline),Group HSS(LPS+4 mL/kg 75 g/L hypertonic saline solution),Group HES(LPS+4 mL/kg hydroxyethyl starch 130/0.4),Group HSH(LPS+4 mL/kg 75 g/L hypertonic sodium chloride hydroxyethyl starch 40).Resuscitation was administrated 30 min after LPS injected.Pathological examination and score were made under optical microscope.Dry/wet ratios were observed.Levels of total protein of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF)were measured.Thibabituric acid(TBA)was used to measure tissue malonaldehyde(MDA)levels.Xanthine oxidase(XO)was employed to measure the tissue activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD).[Results]Compared with group C,in the other 4 groups,pathological changes were server.Levels of total protein of BALF were higher(P＜0.05).Pathological score of group E was significantly higher(P＜0.01).Dry/wet ratio of group E was lower(P＜0.05).Tissue activity of SOD of group E was lower(P＜0.01).Levels of tissue MDA in group E and HSS were significantly higher.Compared with group E,in group HSS,HES and HSH,pathological changes were slighter(P＜0.01).Pathological scores and tissue MDA levels were lower(P＜0.01).Dry/wet ratios were higher(P＜0.05).Tissue activity of SOD were higher(P＜0.01),levels of total protein of BALF were lower(P＜0.05,P＜0.01).[Conclusion]Small volume resuscitation with HSS,HES,and HSH had protective effects on the lung of endotoxie rats.HES and HSH had better effect on decreasing the capillary permeability of the lung of endotoxic rats lung compared with HSS.
