1.Radionuclide brain imaging and diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(04):-
Diagnosis of early Alzheimer's disease (AD) is still a clinical challenge, growing evidence indicated radionu-elide neuroimaging, especially positron emission computed tomography (PET), would be promising for the diagnosis of early AD. Studies showed reduction of cerebral blood flow and glucose metabolism occurring at the parietotemporal lobes of AD patients at the early stage. A study showed that PET detected AD with an accuracy greater than 90% 2. 5 years earlier than clinical diagnostic methods using electroencephalography, structural imaging studies and so on. Recent investigation aimed at senile plaques (SPs) and neurofibrillary tangles (NFTs) that were hallmark pathologies accompanying the neurodegeneration involved in AD. Some researchers used 2-(l-(6-[(2-18F]fluoroethyl) (methyl)amino]-2-naphthyl)ethylidene) malononitrile (C18F]FDDNP) , in conjunction with PET to determine the localization and load of NFTs and SPs in the brains of living AD patients. Monitoring SPs and NFTs development is expected to facilitate diagnostic of AD patients and assist in response-monitoring during experimental treatments.

Objective To investigate the feasibility of non-contrast-enhanced renal MR angiography (NCE-MRA) using time spatial labeling inversion pulse (Time-SLIP) technique, and to discuss the optimized inversion time (TI) and its relationship with age. Methods A total of 61 healthy volunteers were divided into two groups by age,22-50 years (n=32)and 51 80 years (n=29).All volunteers underwent 3.0T MRI examination with 6 different TIs sequences (1 200,1 300,1 400,1 600,1 600,1 700 ms).The vessel to-kidney signal ratio (VKR),grade of renal artery branches, grade of renal artery imaging quality were measured and analyzed. Results The VKR values were the highest at TI=1 500 ms in both sides ot kidneys. The scores of renal artery branches were gradually rising up but tending to be steady higher than 1 400 ms.Among all the subjects, the highest score of renal artery imaging quality was at TI=1 500 ms.In 22-50 years group, the highest score of renal artery imaging quality was at TI=1 500 ms.Meanwhile, the highest score was found at TI=1 600 ms in 51 80 years group. Moreover, the grade of renal artery imaging in the 22-50 years group acquired better scores compared to the 51 80 years group (all P<0.05).Conclusion Time-SLIP technique is helpful to obtain renal MRA without contrast medium. The optimized TI value is 1 500 ms.Moreover, age can affect the optimized TI value.

Objective:To analyze the radionuclide bone imaging features of spine tumors and its clinical value. Methods and results:Data of radionuclide planar whole-body bone imaging with 99m Tc-MDP were analyzed in90patients with various spinal tumors confirmed by histopathology.In49patients with metastases, bone imaging was positive in43;37vertebra showed strong uptake;30patients involved the whole vertebra with symmetrical enlargement in18;other extravertebral bone foci were seen in29.In17patients with primary malignant bone tumors, bone imaging was positive in12;11vertebra showed strong uptake;and8involved the whole vertebra;3focal lesions had local irregular bulging;other extravertebral bone foci were seen in4.In24patients with benign bone tumors, bone imaging was positive in13;6vertebra showed strong uptake; other extravertebral bone foci were seen in1.Conclusion:Spinal metastases in bone imaging are mainly multiple, strong up-take of whole vertebra and accompanied by symmetrical enlargement with other extravertebral bone foci.Primary malignant bone tumor is mainly single or multiple, strong uptake of whole vertebra without symmetrical enlargement, some with local irregular bulging lesions. In order to explore the medical and social problems related to postoperative lymphedema in breast cancer patients, improve the compliance of rehabilitation treatment and help patients return to society. The self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate 76 patients who met the criteria of lymphedema after breast cancer and refused or failed to adhere to rehabilitation threapy. According to the relevant measurement scale theory and method, the computer-aided software was used to analyze the data to find out the problem and analyze the cause. The prominent problems of poor compliance in patients with breast cancer after operation were successively: subjective factors, objective factors, family social and ethical factors, multidisciplinary factors, hospital management and policy issues. For the above ethical problems, we should adopt positive coping strategies to increase the compliance of patients and improve their quality of life.

【Objective】 To explore whether the effect of functional electrical stimulation combined with respiratory training on patients with mechanical ventilation is superior to that of single lung rehabilitation scheme. 【Methods】 We selected 90 patients with mechanical ventilation hospitalized in the central ICU of our hospital from March 2018 to October 2019 and randomly assigned them into the functional electrical stimulation group (30 cases), respiratory function training group (30 cases), and the combined rehabilitation group (functional electrical stimulation combined with respiratory training) (30 cases). The treatment time in the three groups was 40 minutes each time. The treatment was given once a day, 6 times a week, and lasted for 2 weeks. B-ultrasound was used to measure the changes of the diaphragm and calculate the score of diaphragm thickening. The success rate of weaning, incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP), duration of mechanical ventilation, and length of stay in ICU can be quantified according to the clinical nursing records. 【Results】 There were significant differences in the success rate of weaning, incidence of VAP, time of mechanical ventilation, and length of ICU stay in the three groups. However, the success rate of weaning, incidence of VAP, time of mechanical ventilation, and the length of ICU stay in the combined rehabilitation group were better than those in the other two groups (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 The effect of functional electrical stimulation combined with respiratory training on patients with mechanical ventilation is significantly better than that of single lung rehabilitation scheme. The former one is superior to the single rehabilitation scheme in improving the success rate of weaning, increasing the activity of diaphragm, shortening the time of mechanical ventilation, and the length of stay in ICU.
