China Pharmacy 2017;28(11):1535-1537
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of application timing of carboporst tromethamine on postpartum hemor-rhage and hemodynamics of cesarean section women with centralplacenta previa. METHODS:Totally 138 parturient women with central placenta previa selected from our hospital during Jan.-Dec. 2015 were divided into observation group and control group ac-cording to random number table, with 69 cases in each group. Both groups received cesarean section. Control group was given Car-boporst tromethamine injection 250 μg on uterine body after the delivery of placenta. Observation group was given Carboporst tro-methamine injection 250 μg on corpora uteri immediately after umbilical cord cutting. The operation duration, intraoperative and postoperative blood loss were observed in 2 groups. The preoperative and postoperative 24 h hemodynamic index, coagulation func-tion and corpora uteri were compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:The operation duration of observation group was significantly shorter than control group;intraoperative blood loss and 24h blood loss of observation group were significantly less than control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in preoperative hemodynamic index and coagula-tion function index between 2 groups before surgery(P>0.05). 24 h after surgery,SBP,DBP,MAP,FIB and D-D of 2 groups were decreased significantly, while HR of them were increased significantly;the observation group was significantly better than the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR (15.94% vs. 13.04%) between 2 groups (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Carboporst tromethamine after omphalotomy via uterine body helps to shorten the operation time, reduce intraoperative blood loss, maintain hemodynamic indexes stable and improve coagulation func-tion of cesarean section women with central placenta previa ,with good safety.

Objective To approach work pressure and its influencing factors in general surgical nurses. Methods 105 general surgical nurses were selected from 8 hospitals with stratification clus-tering randomization methods. The job stressor inventory,- personality scale, coping styles questionnaire and general state of health questionnaire were used to carry out investigation and the results underwent analysis. Results The main stressors came from the factor of workload and time allocation, then from nursing specialty and job. Working time more than 10 years, undergraduate degree or above, work shift, neuroticism, wrapping, avoidance, letting off were risk factors of work pressure in general surgical nurses. Age more than 40 years old, nurse and associate director, exotrophy, planning to solve the ques-tions, seeking social support, rational coping were protective factors of work pressure for nurses. Con-clusions The overall pressure level of general surgical nurses was moderate. We should cultivate favourable personality of nurses and positive coping styles in combination with their demography char-acters to prevent work pressure.

Objective To study the role of polyamines(putrescine, spermidine and spermine) in regulating ornithine decarboxylase(ODC) protein levels in the early regenerating liver of rats. Methods Exogenous polyamines(dissolved in 0.9% NaCl) were administered subcutaneously to adult male SD rats(180~220g).The ODC protein levels in the regenerating liver induced by partial hepatectomy(PH) were measured by Western blotting analysis. Results The treatment with high doses of putrescine( 20 mg/kg body weight),spermidine(0.15 mg/kg body weight) or spermine(6 mg/kg body weight) reduced the ODC protein level compared with the control group within 12 hours after PH.However, the treatment with low doses of putrescine(0.02 mg/kg),spermidine(0.03 mg/kg) or spermine(0.06 mg/kg) resulted in a rapid increase in the protein level in the 4th hour after PH,which was 15.1%,29.5% or 30.3% higher than that of control rats respectively. Conclusion Polyamines with certain doses play a role in the feedback regulation of ODC protein levels in the early regenerating liver, where spermidine and spermine play a greater role than putrescine dose.

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1999;0(09):-
Mucus secreted mainly by epithelial goblet cells and submucosal glands covering the respiratory tract plays an important role in the protection from external aggressions, such as solid particles, pathogens and chemical agents by mucociliary clearance. The viscoelastic properties of mucus are mainly determined by the presence of extensively-glycosylated high molecular weight mucins. A lot of factors influence the expression and secretion of mucins in airway, lead to mucus overproduction, which is a distinguishing feature of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and causes disruption of the mucociliary clearance function, resulting in airway block, chronic infection and death.

Objective The regulation of ornithine decarboxylase (ODC) gene expression and enzyme activity by corticosterone, the main glucocorticoid in rat, during rat liver regeneration induced by partial hepatectomy (PH) was evaluated. Methods Bilateral adrenaleetomies (ADX) and sham-ADX were performed on ether-anesthetized rats 3 days before PH.Corticosterone in sesame oil was injected subcutaneously to adrenalectomied rats. ODC mRNA, ODC protein and enzyme activity were detected by RT-PCR, Western blotting and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), respectively. Results The ODC mRNA levels, protein accumulation and enzyme activity were lower in the intact liver compared to the regenerating liver. After PH, mRNA levels were remarkably enhanced in all groups (n=6 in each group) and peaked at 5 hours post-PH. Till 7 hours, the contents in all groups from high to low were ADX group, control group (Sham-ADX group), ADX treated with 10mg/kg and 40mg/kg body weight corticosterone group, respectively. ODC protein accumulation in ADX rats was higher than that in control rats (n=13, the same below), but it decreasod in corticosterone-treated (10mg/kg) rats until 24 hours post-PH, with a strong decline seen in 40mg/kg corticosterone-treated rats. ODC activity was rapidly promoted, and the highest levels were observed at 6 hours after PH in all groups (n=6 in each group). After corticosterone treatment, the activities declined significantly at 6 hours post-PH, with the lowest value found in the 40mg/kg group. Conclusion Corticosterone treatment results in dose-dependent decreases in ODC mRNA and enzyme protein both in the intact liver and the regenerating liver. The change in ODC activity is partially related to alterations of ODC mRNA and protein accumulation.
