[Objective] To observe the proliferation of T and B Lymphocyte in mouse after treated by Hirsutella sinensis strain fermentation.[Methods] Mice were treated with 1.0g?kg-1,0.1g?kg-1 of Hirsutella sinensis strain fermentation by intragastric administration.The proliferation of T and B Lymphocyte from the spleen of mouse is detected by the MTT assay .[Results] Hirsutella sinensis strain fermentation and Cordyceps Sinensis can distinctly increasse the stimulation index (SI) of T and B lymphocyte transformation.[Conclusion] Hirsutella sinensis strain fermentation and Cordyceps Sinensis are able to enhance immune function of normal mouse.

We retrospectively reviewed the clinical data of 826 cases with vitiligo treated in Beijing Hospital from 1998 to 2008. Most of patients present vitiligo in early age;20. 6% patients had positive family history. There were 44. 12 %, 41.18% and 10. 00 % of patients with vitiligo in their first, second and third degree relatives, respectively. Patients with family history had an earlier onset than those without a family history ( t = 1.97, P < 0. 05 ). Vitiligo vulgaris was found in 91.40 % patients. The most common affected site was head and face (31.5%) ;8. 1% of the patients was associated with other autoimmune diseases, including thyroid diseases, diabetes. There were more females than males in patients aged below 14. The child patients were more likely to present with Koebner' sign and halo nevus than the elder ones (P<0.05).

Objective To explore the effect of breast-conserving operation for the treatment of early-stage breast cancer. Methods From November 1999 to Octorber 2001, the patients with early-stage breast cancer were treated with breast-conserving surgery followed by radical irradiation according to the patients' will. The cosmetic results and quality of life were analyzed after surgery and radiation. Results In all the patients received operation treatment from 1999 to 2001, eighteen patients were treated with breast-conserving surgery with breast conservation rate of 10.2%, of which 7 cases with quadrantetomy plus axillary lymph node dissection (ALND), 8 cases with lumpectomy plus ALND and 3 cases with lumpectomy. Pathological staging was as follow: 4 cases in stage 0, 12 cases in stage Ⅰ, and 2 cases in stage Ⅱ. All cases were followed-up. The cosmetic results were good in 94%(17/18) and fair in 6%(1/18). All the patients had not local recurrence and distant metastasis. Conclusions Breast-conserving surgery followed by radiation therapy is superior to mastectomy in terms of improving breast cosmesis and quality of life. Postoperative radiation therapy does not affect the cosmetic result.

Objective To study the method of biological dye injection for detecting sentinel lymph node(SLN) in breast cancer, and explore the accuracy of evaluating axillary lymph node status by SLN biopsy(SLNB). Methods Intro-dermal methylthionium injection during operation was applied to identify SLN in 71 breast cancer patients, and the detection results were compared with the metastasis status of dissected axillary lymph nodes. Results SLN was identified in 70 of 71 patients(97%) using methylthionium injection. Total 188 SLNs were detected in all patients, each patient having 1～4 SLNs(average 2 7). The false negative rate of methylthionium injection for detecting SLN was 2%(1/42). The sensitivity, specificity and accurate rate of SLN to predict axillary lymph node metastasis status were 96%, 100% and 97% respectively. Conclusion Intro-dermal methylthionium injection can identify SLN and accurately predict the axillary lymph node status . This method is cheap and can be widely used.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the assaying of danazol in anti-hyperplasia of mammary glands cream.METHODS:The UV-spectrophometry was adopted to determine the content of dianozol with the wavelength at285nm.RESULTS:The dianzol was in linear relationship within the concentration range of5～25?g/ml(r=0.9999).The average recovery rate was99.2%(RSD=0.32%,n=5).CONCLUSION:The method is simple,rapid and accurate,which is suitable for the content determination and quality control of the preparation.

Objective To explore the effect of lipo-prostaglandin E1 plus dextran 40 in the prophylaxis of hepatic veno-occlusive disease(HVOD) after hematopoietic stem cell(HSC) transplantation.Methods Two hundred and thirty-four patients,162 males and 72 females,mean age 30.6(ranged from 3 to 64),were admitted during May 1999 to April 2007 and undergone HSC transplantation.Lipo-prostaglandin E1 associated with dextran 40 were administered to all patients for the prophylaxis of hepatic veno-occlusive disease.Lipo-prostaglandin E1,10?g dissolved in 100ml saline,20?g per day iv,were administered from day 7 before transplantation(-7 day) to day 30 after transplantation(+30 day).Dextran 40,500ml per day iv,were administered from-1 day to +5 day.In order to identify the risk factors inducing HVOD,patients were allocated to 2 groups according to following factors:age(

Objective To investigate the clinicopathological significance of periostin and MMP-2 in colorectal carcinoma.Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of periostin and MMP-2 in colorectal carcinoma,tubular adenoma,villous adenoma and normal colorectal tissue.The correlations between the expression of periostin and MMP-2 with clinicopathologic parameters were analyzed.Results In colorectal carcinoma,tubular adenoma,villous adenoma and normal colorectal tissue,the positive rates of periostin were 83.7 ％ (41/49),40.0 ％ (6/15),32.1％ (9/28),0 (0/15),respectively,while the positive rates of MMP-2 were 71.4 ％ (35/49),60.0 ％ (9/15),64.3 ％ (18/28),0(0/15),respectively.There were significant differences among the groups (x2 =41.252,P =0.000; x2 =24.811,P =0.000).The expression of periostin in colorectal carcinoma tissue were not correlated with sex (x2 =0.002,P =0.961),age (x2 =2.267,P =0.132),tumor sites (x2 =1.506,P =0.220),differentiation status (x2 =0.875,P =0.350) and lymphatic metastasis (x2 =3.315,P =0.069).The expression of MMP-2 in colorectal carcinoma were correlated with lymphatic metastasis (x2 =5.800,P =0.016),whereas not correlated with sex (x2 =0.562,P =0.453),age (x2 =0.138,P =0.711),tumor sites (x2 =0.408,P =0.532),differentiation degree (x2 =1.335,P =0.248).The expression of periostin and MMP-2 were positively correlated in colorectal carcinoma (r =0.332,P =0.020).Conclusion Periostin and MMP-2 are correlated closely with the development and progression of colorectal carcinoma.It might be helpful for evaluating the biological properties and prognosis of colorectal carcinoma,and it would be more accurate to use a combined analysis of the two indicators.

Objective To comparison anterior cervical decompression and plating techniques for CSM between under microscope and traditional method retrospectively, investigate clinical result of surgery under microscope. Methods Sixty-seven patients with CSM underwent surgery of anterior cervical decompression and plating techniques were evaluated retrospectively from January 2008 to June 2010. Thirty-three patients underwent operation under microscope; thirty-four patients underwent traditional operation. The operating time, bleeding volume during operating and poster operating, walking time post-operation and complication were observed. Clinical outcomes were assessed by Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA), Image of before and after operation. Results Microsurgery operation time averaged of 100 minutes. Bleeding volume during the operation averaged of 60 ml, and after operation averaged of 40 ml. The JOA scores were improved from 8.43 pre-operatively to 14.70. Six months post operation, the average rage of JOA improvement were 83.2%. Traditional operation time averaged of 115 minutes. Bleeding volume during operation averaged of 100 ml, and after operation averaged of 50 ml. The JOA scores were improved from 7.45 pre-operatively to 11.84. Six months post operation, the average rage of JOA improvement were 82.1%. There were difference between two groups(P ＞ 0.05) in the JOA scores. No statistical difference (P ＜ 0.05) in bleeding volume and operating time. Conclusion The operation under microscope is restored significantly than the traditional method in bleeding volume, the surgical field, safety of operation, time of recovery and so on.

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of 5-aminolevulinic acid-induced photodynamic therapy (ALA-PDT) in the treatment of condyloma acuminatum. Methods Thirty-six cases of condyloma acuminatum were treated with ALA-PDT. Results After the treatment, 33 (91.67%) patients were cured, 35 (97.22%) improved. Relapse occurred in 3 (8.33%) patients. Side effects were noted in 2 (5.56%) patients. Conclusions ALA-PDT is a relatively simple, effective and safe treatment with a lower recurrence rate for condyloma acuminatum, especially for small skin lesions or lesions at specific area. However, the high expense required for multiple treatments with ALA-PDT may restrict its application.

Objective To survey and analyze the PBL lessons in the course of Clinical Transfusion Medicine.Evaluate the effect and problems in PBL lessons and explore more effective models.Methods A questionnaire was designed according to the purpose of the survey,4 teachers and 89 students of medical laboratory science in Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine were investigated.Results Students gave high evaluate of both the case and the teachers.Main suggestion was to reduce the class time.When the students were told that the evaluation results will be added to their total score and compared to the teachers' evaluation,they will be more objective.The results were statistically significant.Conclusion PBL cases for Clinical Transfusion Medicine should not be too long.Paying attention to the meaning and feedback of evaluation can greatly improve the enthusiasm and objectivity of the students.
