OBJECTIVE:To systematically evaluate the effectiveness of probiotics in adjunctive prevention and treatment of chemotherapy-induced diarrhea(CID),and to provide evidence-based reference in the clinic. METHODS:All relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of probiotics in adjunctive prevention and treatment of CID were collected by searching EMBase,Co-chrane library,PubMed,CJFD,VIP,Wanfang databases and CBM. Meta-analysis were performed with Rev Man 5.2 software af-ter data extraction and quality evaluation by Cochrane Hand book 5.0risk-bias assessment tool. RESULTS:10 RCTs were includ-ed,involving 871 patients. The results of Meta-analysis showed that addition of probiotics on the basis of conventional symptomatic therapy significantly reduced the total rate of diarrhea in cancer patients [OR=0.31,95%CI(0.20,0.49),P<0.001] and Ⅲ-Ⅳ diar-rhea rate[OR=0.09,95%CI(0.03,0.24),P<0.001],improved overall response rate [OR=4.16,95%CI(2.40,7.23),P<0.001] and complete remission rate [OR=2.55,95%CI(1.66,3.90),P<0.001],with statistical significance. The probiotics had little effect onⅠ-Ⅱlevel diarrhea rate[OR=0.86,95%CI(0.48,1.56),P=0.62] and partial remission rate[OR=1.00,95%CI(0.67,1.50),P=1.00],with statistical significance. CONCLUSIONS:The use of probiotics before chemotherapy can effectively prevent the occur-rence of severe CID in cancer patients;in the treatment of CID,the combination of probiotics can also improve therapeutic effica-cy of conventional symptomatic treatment.

AIM: To study the anti-inflammatory effect of the Antivirus Oral Liquid(AOL) in experimental rabbit conjunctivitis model. METHODS: Rabbit's staphococcus aureus conjunctivitis models and cantharides tincture conjunctivitis models were made to observe different groups of animals' symptom of eye stimulation, negative rate of bacteria and conjunctiva histopathology. And then AOL compared with the effect of amphemycin gutta or Shumu(gutta.) RESULTS: It showed that AOL possessed significant anti-inflammatory effect on bacterial conjunctivitis. The negative rate of bacteria was more than 90% after being given AOL for 4 days successively.Compared with the models group, the hyperemia and edemda were markedly relieved. The result showed that AOL possessed significant anti-inflammatory effect on irritable conjunctivitis. The hyperemia and edema were markedly relieved at the second day after being given AOL,and the inflammatory symptoms had almost disappeared after being given AOL for 4 days successively. CONCLUSION: AOL has a good effect on the therapy of staphylococcus aureus conjunctivitis and cantharides tincture.

Objective To discuss the characteristics of extended-spectrum beta-lactamases(ESBLs)-producing Shigella and the relation between them and drug-resistance plasmid. Methods The suspicious ESBLs-producing isolates were screened by K-B disc diffusion method, and the ESBLs-producing strains were confirmed by confirmatory test recommended by the National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards. Furthermore, the partial blageneof these isolates were detected by PCR using universal primers for TEM, SHV, CTX-M-1 group, CTX-M-2 group and CTX-M-9 group, respectively. The entire blaCTX-M-9 and blaTEM were amplified by PCR using the primers outside the open reading frame (ORF) of these β-1actamases and products were directly sequenced. The conjugation experiment was performed to determine whether the resistance was transferable. Minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) was detected with double agar dilution method. Results Of the 275 isolates, 12 strains were identified as ESBLs producers. Among them, 8 strains were CTX-M-14 carriers and 4 strains were CTX-M-3 carriers. All ESBLs-producing isolates are positive for plasmid conjugative transfer test. The transconjugants are only resistance to betalactams. Conclusions High resistance to beta-laetams in Shigella is caused by production of ESBLs in the local area. The ESBLs-produeing isolates can transfer the drug resistance through lateral transfer of plasmid.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the difference of hypaconitine concentration in serum between normal and cold-deficiency mice after administration of aconite decoction. To analyze how the toxic dose of aconite decoction correlate to the metabolic environment.
METHODPrepared cold-deficiency mice model, treated normal and cold-deficiency mice with aconite decoction for 14 days continuously, and then detected hypaconitine concentration in serum by HPLC along with survival ratio of mice on the first, seventh and fourteenth day.
RESULTAfter administration of aconite decoction for 14 days, the hypaconitine concentration in serum of cold-deficiency mice is close to that in normal mice. It showed aconite decoction has the ability of regulating metabolism environment, the hypaconitine concentration in serum of normal mice was higher on the seventh and fourteenth day than that on first day. It showed that aconite decoction can disturb metabolism environment of normal mice. It was also been observed that the range of variation of hypaconitine concentration in cold-deficiency mice was minor than that in normal mice during the fourteen days' administration.
CONCLUSIONThe difference of serum concentration in normal and cold-deficiency mice showed that there were different metabolic environments in two mice models, and the metabolic environment changed during administration. These results showed that the different toxic doses of aconite decoction were partially due to the different metabolic environments.

Objective:To investigate the application of 3.0T multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (Mp-MRI) prostate imaging-reporting and data system (PI-RADS) V2.1 score combined with prostate-specific antigen density (PSAD) in the diagnosis of prostate cancer (PCa).Methods:The clinical data of 82 patients with suspected PCa who were admitted to Nantong Second People's Hospital from May 2017 to Octorber 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. The 3.0T Mp-MRI PI-RADS V2.1 score, serum PSAD level and pathological diagnosis were obtained from all patients. The 3.0T Mp-MRI PI-RADS V2.1 score and its distribution as well as serum PSAD level between patients with pathologically diagnosed PCa and patients with prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) were compared. The diagnostic efficiency of 3.0T Mp-MRI PI-RADS V2.1 score and serum PSAD level alone and in combination for PCa was analyzed using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, with pathological results as the gold standard. Results:Pathological diagnosis showed that there were 43 cases (52.44%) of PCa and 39 cases (47.56%) of BPH. There was a statistical difference in the distribution of 3.0T Mp-MRI PI-RADS V2.1 score between PCa and BPH patients ( Z = 32.25, P<0.001). The 3.0T Mp-MRI PI-RADS V2.1 score of PCa patients was higher than that of BPH patients [(4.29±0.25) points vs. (2.24±0.11) points, P < 0.001], the serum PSAD level was higher than that of BPH patients [(0.49±0.15) ng·ml -1·cm -3 vs. (0.27±0.08) ng·ml -1·cm -3, P < 0.001]. The ROC curve analysis showed that area under the curve of 3.0T Mp-MRI PI-RADS V2.1 score, serum PSAD level alone and both together for the diagnosis of PCa were 0.766 (95% CI 0.659-0.852, P < 0.001), 0.793 (95% CI 0.689- 0.874, P < 0.001) and 0.816 (95% CI 0.715-0.893, P < 0.001). Conclusions:3.0T Mp-MRI PI-RADS V2.1 score and serum PSAD level are both elevated in PCa patients. They have certain values in the diagnosis of PCa, and the combination of the two has higher diagnostic efficiency.
