Infectious disease hospitals are obliged to cope with public health emergencies such as outbreak of infectious diseases.Such hospitals are required to make early detection, early containment, proper management, reasonable preplans, timely training, targeted drills, reasonable deployment of hospital resources, appropriate protection for hospital staff.General hospitals should also cope with prevention and control of infectious diseases to some extent, and work with infectious disease hospitals hand in hand to better cope with such outbreaks.

Objective To observe the structural characteristic of Marshall ligament and coronary sinus of 40 dog hearts. Methods The Marshall ligament and coronary sinus of 40 dog hearts fixed with 10% formaldehyde were observed in gross anatomy. Results The Marshall ligament begins at the right external side edge of left atrium appendage, via the left inferior pulmonary vein to the inner surface of pericardium. The length and the width of Marshall ligament of dog hearts were (2.61?0.95) cm, (0.18?0.04) cm respectively. The angle between Marshall ligament and the coronary sinus was (116?11), and the shortest length between Marshall ligament and left atrium was (0.58?0.52) cm. The length and the width of coronary sinus was (2.84?0.85) cm, (0.28?0.07) cm respectively. There are lots of cardiac fibers of ring (47.5%), vertical (37.5%) and diagonal (15%) shape on the surface of coronary sinus. Conclusion A lot of muscle fibers attaching to the surface of Marshall ligament and coronary sinus in dog hearts are abnormal atrial channels. Dog is the favorable animal for research of focal atrial fibrillation.

Objective To explore the psychological stressors of pregnant women with chronic HBV infection. Methods Using phenomenological method of qualitative study, there were 9 pregnant women with chronic HBV infection participated in the study and their mental stress was investigated by deep interview. Results Five main psychological stressors of pregnant women with chronic HBV infection emerged:fear of children being infected; anxious about giving birth in the hospital for infectious diseases; having no idea of selecting the mode of delivery and feeding pattern; worrying about their own health; to feel nervous about playing the role of mothers. Conclusions Healthcare workers should make appropriate health guidance and psychological supports to alleviate the psychological distress combined with features of pregnant women with HBV infection. At the same time,it is necessary to make change of public misunderstanding of hepatitis B,so as to create a fair and friendly social atmosphere for all the hepatitis B patients.

AIM: To explore the molecular mechanisms of SC58125 on apoptosis in HepG2 cells. METHODS: Cell culture, ELISA, flow cytometry, RT-PCR, Western blot and electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) analysis were employed to clarify the effect of SC58125 on apoptosis in HepG2 cells and related molecular mechanisms. RESULTS: SC58125 induced apoptosis in HepG2 cells in a concentration-dependent manner, which was accompanied by inhibition of NF-?B, activation of caspase-3, decrease of bcl-2 mRNA and increase of p53 mRNA. However, no significant changes were found in the DNA binding of AP-1. CONCLUSION: SC58125 induces apoptosis in HepG2 cells, which may be related to the inhibition of NF-?B, activation of caspase-3, decrease of bcl-2 mRNA and increase of p53 mRNA.

Objective To explore the clinical significance of long non-coding RNA(lncRNA)VIM-AS5 expres-sion in human breast cancer tissues and its regulatory mechanism involved in cancer cell proliferation and mi-gration.Methods The Lnc2Cancer 3.0 database was used to analyze the expression of VIM-AS5 in breast cancer tissues and its correlation with the clinical stage and survival time of breast cancer patients.RT-qPCR was used to detect the expression of VIM-AS5 in breast cancer cell lines BT-549,MDA-MB-435,MDA-MB-231 and CAL-51.Plasmid with VIM-AS5 overexpression and negative control were all transfected into CAL-51 cells through liposome recorded as VIM-AS5 group and NC group, respectively. The proliferation and migration of CAL-51 cells were detected by colony formation assay and scratch healing method,respectively.Dual-lucif-erase reporter gene experiment verified the targeting relationship between VIM-AS5 and miR-500a.RT-qPCR was used to detect the expression of miR-500a in CAL-51 cells.Western blot was used to detect the expression of JAK/STAT3 pathway in CAL-51 cells. Results The expression of VIM-AS5 in breast cancer tissues was significantly lower than that in adjacent tissues(P<0.01).VIM-AS5 expression was negatively correlated with the clinical stage of breast cancer patients(P<0.01).The survival time of breast cancer patients with low VIM-AS5 expression was significantly shorter than that of breast cancer patients with high VIM-AS5 ex-pression(P<0.01).Compared with mammary epithelial cell line MCF-10 A cells,VIM-AS5 expression was significantly reduced in breast cancer cells(P<0.01).The counting number of colony formed in the VIM-AS5 group was significantly lower than that in the NC group(P<0.01).The cell migration rate in the VIM-AS5 group was significantly lower than that in the NC group(P<0.01).Dual-luciferase reporter gene experiment confirmed that miR-500a was the target gene of VIM-AS5(P<0.01).VIM-AS5 can negatively regulate the expression of miR-500a(P<0.01).Compared with the NC group, the expression of JAK/STAT3 pathway proteins JAK,p-STAT3,c-Myc,Bcl-2,and CDK3 in CAL-51 cells of the VIM-AS5 group were significantly decreased. Conclusions VIM-AS5 is low-expressed in breast cancer cells, and up-regulation of VIM-AS5 may inhibit the proliferation and migration of breast cancer cells CAL-51 by targeting at miR-500a/JAK/STAT3 pathway.
