Objective To explore the clinical significance of K-ras mutation in non-small cell lung cancer. Methods A K-ras codon 12 point mutation was detected by restriction fragment length polymorphisms combined with polymerase chain reaction in 41 tissues from non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), 21 normal tissues from nearby tumor and 21 lymph nodes from nearby bronchi. Results K-ras mutation was detected in 10 of 41 NSCLC((24.39%)). There was no relationship between K-ras mutation and the age, sex, differentiation of tumor, tumor volume,histologic type and tumor stage. K-ras mutation was more common in smoking group than in non-smoking group, but the statistical comparison was not significant. There was a strong link between cigarette smoking and K-ras point mutation in lung adenocarcinoma, but there was no relation between cigarette smoking amount and K-ras mutation. Objective:In order to find a possible relationship between the polymorphism of HLA A,DRB1 allele and susceptibility to cirrhosis due to hepatitis B.Methods:HLA A,DRB1 allele polymorphism in 61 patients with cirrhosis due to hepatitis B were analyzed by DNA chip,146 healthy subjects as control group were also tested.Results:The most frequent alleles were HLA A02,11,24 for HLA A locus and HLA DRB112,09,04 for HLA DRB1 locus in control group respectively,the significantly increased frequencies of HLA A02(43 4% vs 29 1%,OR:1 87,P=0 005,95% CI:1 21 2 89)与HLA DRB107(13 9% vs 5 1%,OR:3 00,P=0 002,95% CI:1 48 6 07)、HLA DRB108(16 4% vs 6 8%,OR:2 67,P=0 003,95% CI:1 40 5 08)、HLA DRB111(12 3% vs 5 8%,OR:2 27,P=0 025,95% CI:1 11 4 64) were found in cirrhosis patients due to hepatitis B compared to the control group,the homozygotes of HLA A02 showed a tendency to increase in cirrhosis patients,but failed to reach statistical significance.Conclusion:HLA A02 and HLA DRB107、08、11 may be susceptibility genes for cirrhosis due to hepatitis B. Aim To study effects of different dosage regimens of gentamicin(GTM) on impairment of renal functions, plasma concentrations and pharmacokinetics in rats. Method 108 rats were divided into 6 groups: control group; chronological once-daily dose groups (N100 and D100 group, in which 100 mg?kg -1 GTM were intramuscularly administrated at 01 ∶00 or 13 ∶[KG-*3]00 respectively), and chronological twice-daily different dose groups (N90+D10, N70+D30, N50+D50 group, in which 90 mg?kg -1+10 mg?kg -1, 70 mg?kg -1+30 mg?kg -1 and 50 mg?kg -1+50 mg?kg -1 GTM were given at 1:00 and 13:00 respectively). The blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine (Cr) levels were observed, the plasma concentrations of GTM at 0.25,0.5,1, 2, 5 and 8h were determined, the C-T curves were profiled and the pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated at the 1st, the 10th, and the 20th day of administrations. AIM To compare the pharmacokinetics and bioequivalence of between capsule and solution of benzoylmetronidazole. METHODS Ten chinese healthy male volunteers in a randomized 2-way crossover study were given a single oral dose 960 mg capsule(test) and solution (control) respectively. The serum concentrations of metronidazole, one of the metabolites of benzoylmetronidazole, was measured by high performance liquid chromatography. RESULTS The serum concentration-time curves appeared one-compartment open model. The results of the capsule and the solution of benzoylmetronidazole showed that T max (5.10?1.60) h and (3.12?0.90) h; C max (5.32?0.87) mg?L -1 and (6.51?1.25) mg?L -1 ; T 12 (10.56?1.75) h and (10.16?1.65) h; AUC (106.96?19.62) mg?h -1 ?L -1 and (113.59?19.84) mg?h?L -1 . CONCLUTION No significant difference appears in the pharmacokinetic parameters between the two formulations except of T max and C max ( P

Objective To study the short-and long-term results for Cockett syndrome caused acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT) of the lower extremity by surgical thrombectomy or catheter-directed thrombolysis.Methods One hundred and two Cockett syndrome caused acute DVT cases were treated by surgical thrombectomy or catheter-directed thrombolysis (CDT) from Jan 2006 to Dec 2011.There were 52 patients treated by CDT (group A),and 50 cases by surgical thrombectomy (group B).All patients received warfarin treatment after operation.Results There were no significant differences in general clinical characteristics between the two groups.The limb edema reduction rates between the two groups were of no significant difference(83％ ± 6％ vs.82％ ± 8％ P ＞ 0.05).The venous patency were basically the same (64.6％ ± 6.7％ vs.65.3％ ± 7.2％,P ＞ 0.05).The mean time required was shorter in group A than in group B[(30.5 ±6.7) min vs.(97.5 ±23.6) min,P ＜0.01].The average hospital stay was shorter [(9.8±5.4) d vs.(17.7 ±8.2) d,P＜0.01],and morbidity was less[13.4％ vs.42％,P＜0.01].Eighty six patients were followed up.The circunference difference of thigh,the score of vein patency between the two groups were of no significant difference (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions Compared with surgical group,patients in CDT group have shorter hospital stay,less complication and similar long and shortterm results.
