1.Classification, clinic and hereditary of renal medullary cystic diseases
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2017;32(5):327-333
Renal medullary cystic diseases are a large class of heterogeneous diseases, and they are common in clinic, most of them often progress to end-stage renal disease. With recent advances in genetics, increasing number of genes and genetic mutations has been identified with the etiology of renal medullary cystic diseases.Although genetic testing can provide mass data for diagnosis, clinical manifestation are even more important for clinical diagnosis, differentiation and genetic counseling for the patients. In this review, the classification, renal presentations,extra-renal presentations, and genetic analysis of renal medullary cystic diseases will be discussed.
2.Treatment of Henoch-Sch(o)nlein purpura nephritis in children
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2014;29(17):1287-1290
Henoch-Sch(o)nlein purpura(HSP) is one of the most common vasculitides in children with many manifestations including skin purpura, arthritis, abdominal pain and renal involvement. The renal involvement(Henoch-Sch(o)nlein purpura nephritis,HSPN) is the principal cause of morbidity and major risk factor for prognosis in HSP.The paper reviewed the updated treatment strategy for HSPN.Accordingly, steroids, cyclophosphamide, mycophenolate mofetil, mizoribine, cyclosporine, triptolide, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI) / angiotensin receptor blockers(ARB),plasma apheresis and tonsillectomy are possible indicator for the further therapy of HSPN.Furthermore, prospective randomized controlled treatment studies on children with severe HSPN would be needed.
3.Practice and thinking on graduate education in the military hospital
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2015;(1):82-84
Most military hospitals lack sufficient support from medical universities and therefore are confronted with a bottle -neck in graduate education. Based on the real conditions of military hospitals, this article introduces the practice and achievement in graduate education in our hospital by expanding the enrollment access, promoting the admission publicity, stressing the disciplinary balance, improving the supervisors′abilities, and enhancing teaching quality. With considerations on the four aspects of supporting strength of scientific research, stratified design of disciplines, construction of teaching quality, and innovation of training modes, it pro-vides some experience in graduate education with a view of giving reference for other military hospitals.
4.The levels of intraeythrocytic glutathion and its related factors in IGT and newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes patients
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(06):-
Objective:To evaluate the antioxidant status in IGT and newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes patients, we detected the levels of serum Vitamin E(Vit E), vitamin C(Vit C) and intraerythrocytic glutathion(GSH).Methods:The levels of serum Vit E, Vit C and intraerythrocytic GSH were measured in 32 IGT and 41 newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes patients, and the associated factors with GSH/GSSG (oxidized glutathione) were evaluated. Results:Significant decrease of serum Vit C intraerythrocytic GSH and GSH/GSSG were noted in IGT and newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes patients. There were negative correlation between GSH/GSSG and blood glucose, triglyceride, HbA_(1c) in IGT and newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes patients. Conclusion:The results showed that antioxidant defenses are decreased in IGT and newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes patients. To improve the metabolism of blood glucose and triglyceride may have some beneficial effects on antioxidant defenses in IGT and newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes patients.
5.Concerns for immunization of children with idiopathic nephrotic syndrome in the post-epidemic era
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2021;36(5):329-333
Infection is one of the most familiar complications in children with idiopathic nephrotic syndrome.Although vaccination is an effectual measure in prevention of secondary infections, it still faces many problems. On the one hand, children′s own immune status (immune system dysfunction, administration with immunosuppressants, etc.) lends additional uncertainties to whether the immune system can produce sufficient protective antibodies after vaccination. On the other hand, potential risks (recurrence of nephrotic syndrome and induction of vaccine related diseases) need to be comprehensively assessed at the time of vaccination. In this paper, the safety, effectiveness and timing of va-ccination in children with nephrotic syndrome in the post-COVID-19 period were summarized, and possible problems of vaccination against severe acute respiratory syndrome Coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2) were discussed.

Cancer Research and Clinic 2021;33(2):146-149
The arsenic compounds including arsenic trioxide and arsenic sulfide have played a crucial role in the clinical treatment of hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. Arsenic agents can induce tumor cells differentiation, apoptosis and autophagy, eliminate leukemia-initiating cells, and directly bind to the target proteins. This paper reviews the mechanism progress of arsenic agents in various tumors to further understand the intricate anti-tumor mechanisms of arsenic agents and to expand its therapeutic spectrum.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2016;29(7):749-753
Objective To provide the basis for scientific research management and promote innovation of knowledge service in hospital library , understand the level of academic development of hospital library , we analyzed the papers published by hospital li-brary in Jiangsu province . Methods Using bibliometric method to analyze papers published by hospital libraries in Jiangsu from 1990-2014 . Results In the 25 years, 415 papers were published , but with only 17.1%published in the core journals and thesis influence was not high .Most authors were from tertiary hospitals .The academic influence of papers was not high .Most papers were written by librarians independently , while 2.4%of papers were co-authored with other libraries or clinical departments .Thesis topic was almost traditional , so that the research was lack of innovation . Conclusion Hospital library research level is not balanced and high.We should make further effort to strengthen the continuing education , research cooperation, development of qualified personnel , and improve paper quality in order to promote the common development of hospital library in Jiangsu province .
9.Advances in research on CLN3 gene and diseases

China Oncology 2000;0(06):-
CLN3 gene product is an antiapoptotic membrane protein, the expressions of CLN3 in normal tissues and cells are at very low level. Juvenile-Batten disease is a neurodegenerative disease caused by accelerated apoptosis of photoreceptors and neurons resulting from deletion of 1.02 kb in the CLN3 gene. A number of observations showed that CLN3 mRNA and protein are overexpressed in a variety of human cancer cell lines. Blocking of CLN3 expression using an adenovirus-expressing antisense CLN3 inhibited growth and viability of cancer cells. CLN3 may regulate apoptosis through modulating ceramide synthesis or the expression of some down stream genes. More importantly, these results suggested that CLN3 is a novel molecular target for the etiology, progression and theraputics of cancer.

Chinese Mental Health Journal 2002;0(10):-
Objective:To study the relationship between graduate students'personalities, life events and psychic symptom.Methods:828 graduate students in Tianjin were investigated, their psychosomatic symptoms were rated with SCL-90 and psychosocial factors were assessed with Cattell 16 Personality Factors Questionnaire and Life Event Scale.Result:The first three factors in the psychosomatic symptoms were displayed in order: Obsession-compulsion(0.67?0.55), Interpersonal sensitivity (0.61?0.56), and Depression(0.50?0.51).The personalities were revealed as follows: E (6.23?1.69) , F(6.23?1.80) and Q 4(6.12?1.10), these factors were higher than Chinese norm, L (3.82?1.62), O (4.64?1.70) and I (4.86?1.62) were lower than norm. Conclusion:Male, having siblings, engineer and negative scores of work and study are risk factors for psychosomatic symptoms, whereas medical staff is a protective one.
