Objective To evaluate the effect of volume management on volume overload among continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD).Methods The literature were searched by the databases of PubMed,ScienceDirect,Ovid,Cochrane Library,Chinese Science and Technology Periodical Databases (VIP),China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI).Data were analyzed with RevMan5.0 software. Results Ten literatures were included in this study. The results of Meta-analysis revealed that volume management could significantly reduce the body weight, degree of edema and systolic blood pressure. However,no significant difference on the diastolic blood pressure appeared. Conclusions Body weight, degree of edema and systolic blood pressure can be improved by effective volume management.Further study about effect of volume control on diastolic blood pressure should be provided in the future.

Objective To evaluate the effect of nursing interventions on the quality of life of patients undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD).Methods Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) involving nursing interventions were collected from the databases of Cochrane,PubMed,Elsevier Science Direct,VIP,CNKI and WanFang.Data were analyzed with RevMan 5.1 software. Results 8 articles met the inclusion criteria. The results of Meta-analysis showed that there was considerable heterogeneity across the analysis, which might be resulted from length of intervention and patients of different ages according to subgroup analysis, and that gender was not the factor causing heterogeneity. In the experimental group, both physical and emotional aspects after receiving nursing interventions were significantly improved than the control group. Conclusions Nursing interventions can improve the quality of life of patients with CAPD.

Objective To develop the scale of volume-management for peritoneal dialysis(PD) patients. Methods The item pool was formulated based on literature review and in-depth interviews. An initial scale was constructed through two rounds of Delphi expert consultation and preliminary test.Totally 125 PD patients from Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai area were investigated to test the reliability and validity of the scale. Results 2 factors were extracted by exploratory factor analysis, which contained 8 items and could explain 66.07% of the total variance. The content validity index was 1.0,the Cronbach α was 0.870,and test-retest reliability was 0.930.Conclusions The scale is proved to be a reliable and valid tool for the volume-management assessment of PD patients.

Objective The aim of the study is to explore the sexual life situation of adult males with continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD).Methods Data of experience about sexual life of 12 male CAPD patients was collected using in-depth interview and were analyzed with category approach. Results Five themes were sublimated:declined sexual desire, decreased self-confidence to get and to maintain an erection, restraint of sexual life, changes in sexual and marriage satisfaction, and urgent desire for sexual knowledge. Conclusions There are varying degrees of sexual dysfunction in adult male CAPD patients.Nurses should pay attention to and supply the education of sexual knowledge.

Objective To investigate the status quo and influencing factors of self-management ability in patients undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD).Methods Totally 339 CAPD patients with clinical follow-up regularly were investigated for the situation of self-management with general information questionnaire and Self-management Scale for CAPD.Results The total score of patients' self-management ability was (66.03±15.57).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that education level, marital status, occupation and duration of dialysis were influencing factors of patients' self-management ability. Conclusions Patients undergoing CAPD have certain degree of self-management ability.Nurses should promote their self-management ability according to different education level, marital status, occupation and duration of dialysis.

Objective To study genotypes in nonsyndromic hearing loss (NSHL ) patients from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region hearing speech rehabilitation center using DNA microarray in combination with Sanger sequencing .Methods Deaf patients received routine physical and otorhinolaryngoloical examinations as well as pure tone autiometry .Brainstem auditory evoked potential test was performed in uncooperative children .Blood samples were obtained from a total of 136 patients ,male 81 ,female 55 ,age from one year five month to seventeen ,having nonsyndromic hearing loss .Genomic DNA was extracted and then 9 hot mutation spots in 4 susceptibility genes were detected by DNA microarray .GJB2 and SLC26A was further detected by Sanger sequencing in the patients with negative results and heterozygotes .Results Among the 136 patients with nonsyndromic hearing loss ,20 cases were positive for GJB2 gene ,SLC26A4 gene or mitochondrial 12SrRNA gene mutations .There were 14 .71% (20/136)patients were positive for hot mutation spots in the deafness related genes ,25% (34/136)patients carried muta‐tions of deafness related genes using DNA microarray in combination with Sanger sequencing .Six SLC26A4 rare mutations (c .259G> T ,c .754C> T ,c .1229C> T ,c .1548_1549insC ,c .1705+5A>G and c .2086C> T) were de‐tected by Sanger sequencing .c .235delC was the most common mutation in GJB2 gene .c .919-2A>G ,c .754C> T and c .1229C> T were the common mutations in SLC26A4 gene .The mutation rate of GJB2 and SLC26A4 was 38 . 24% .and 58 .82% ,respectively .Conclusion Prevalent deafness-associated gene mutations in the nine loci studied were less frequently detected in nonsyndromic hearing loss patients from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region hear‐ing speech rehabilitation center .It can improve the detection rate of deafness gene mutations by using gene microar‐ray in combination with Sanger sequencing .GJB2 and SLC26A4 are the common causative genes .

Objective:To explore the cause of inconsistency between the results of trisomy 7 by expanded non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT-PLUS) and trisomy 18 by prenatal diagnosis. Methods:A pregnant woman who received genetic counseling at Jiaozuo Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital on July 5, 2020 was selected as the study subject. NIPT-PLUS, systematic ultrasound and interventional prenatal testing were carried out. The middle segment and root of umbilical cord, center and edge of the maternal and fatal surface of the placenta were sampled for the validation by copy number variation sequencing (CNV-seq).Results:The result of NIPT-PLUS indicated that the fetus has trisomy 7. Systematic ultrasound has shown multiple malformations including atrioventricular septal defect, horseshoe kidney, and rocker-bottom feet. However, QF-PCR, chromosomal karyotyping analysis, and CNV-seq of amniotic fluid samples all showed that the fetus was trisomy 18. Validation using multiple placental samples confirmed that the middle segment of the umbilical cord contains trisomy 18, the center of the placenta contained trisomy 7, and other placental sites were mosaicism for trisomy 7 and trisomy 18. Notably, the ratio of trisomy 18 became lower further away from the umbilical cord. Conclusion:The false positive results of trisomy 7 and false negative trisomy 18 by NIPT-PLUS was probably due to the existence of placental mosaicism. Strict prenatal diagnosis is required needed aneuploidy is detected by NIPT-PLUS to exclude the influence of placental mosaicisms.
