4.Current development and clinical application of pancreatic stents
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2017;21(18):2934-2939
BACKGROUND:In recent years, the morbidity of chronic pancreatitis has been increasing dramaticaly with lifestyle changes. Fortunately, endoscopic pancreatic stenting for patients with chronic pancreatitis shows favorable clinical prospects.OBJECTIVE:To introduce the advantages and disadvantages of various stent materials and to review the development and clinical application of pancreatic stents.METHODS: With the key words of chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic stent in Chinese and English, respectively, a computer-based search was performed for articles published in CNKI and PubMed databases from January 2005 to November 2016. After the initial screening, articles related to endoscopic pancreatic stenting usedin vitro,in vivo or in clinic were included.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Endoscopic pancreatic stenting has become a recognized treatment for chronic pancreatitis in recent years. Therefore, the development and application of the materials of pancreatic duct stents appear to be particularly important. According to different materials, pancreatic duct stents can be classified into plastic stents, fully covered self-expandable metal stents, and biodegradable stents. The complications, including stent migration and secondary surgery, frequently appear in the clinical use of plastic pancreatic duct stents and self-expandable metal stents, although they have been widely used in clinical practice. Biodegradable pancreatic duct stents can be degraded completely in the pancreatic duct within the expected time, and thereby avoid several complications. Consequently, the exploitation and application of biodegradable pancreatic duct stents have become an issue of concern.
5.Evaluation and threshold value of hepatic vein pressure gradient for early postoperative rebleeding after endoscopic esophageal varices ligation
China Journal of Endoscopy 2016;22(7):39-41
Objective To assess the value of hepatic venous pressure gradient in the evaluation of early postoper﹣ative hemorrhage after endoscopic esophageal varices ligation (EVL). Methods 120 cases of rebleeding after EVL from January 2014 to January 2015 as subjects. Collect and study clinical indexes such as the venous pressure gra﹣dient, then used logistic regression analysis method to analyze the threshold assessment. Results Drinking, hemor﹣rhage in early stage, bilirubin, heart rate, blood transfusion, child Pugh score and MELD score were significant dif﹣ferences (P< 0.05); HVPG=16.98 mmHg, for the prediction of rebleeding threshold, and in the time of the highest predictive accuracy. Conclusion The hepatic venous pressure gradient has an accurate evaluation value for early postoperative hemorrhage after endoscopic esophageal varices ligation.
6.Advances in study of extracorporeal shock wave therapy for chronic overuse disease of shoulder joint
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma 2017;19(7):637-640
Chronic overuse disease of the shoulder is very common in clinical practice. Its pathogenesis is complicated and its treatment is often a combination of medication, rehabilitation and surgery. In recent years, its diagnosis tends to be more definite, leading to more specific treatment.Extracorporeal shock wave therapy has been successfully used in the treatment of such orthopaedic diseases as plantar fasciitis and lateral epicondylitis, and has been tried by some scholars in the treatment of chronic overuse disease of the shoulder. Its therapeutic effect has also been demonstrated to some extent on calcific tendonitis,non-calcific tendonitis and adhesive capsulitis. This review outlines the progress in research of extracorporeal shock wave therapy for the treatment of chronic overuse disease of the shoulder.
7.Relationship between Methylation of MGMT Gene and Protein Expression of DNMT1 in Gastric Cancer
Chinese Journal of Gastroenterology 2017;22(7):407-410
Background:Studies have shown that promoter methylation of MGMT gene is closely related to many malignant tumor including gastric cancer.DNA methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1) is highly expressed in many malignant tumor tissues. However, studies on relationship between methylation of MGMT gene and DNMT1 expression in gastric cancer are rare.Aims:To investigate the relationship between methylation of MGMT gene, protein expression of DNMT1 and gastric cancer. Methods:Promoter methylation status of MGMT gene in 60 gastric adenocarcinoma tissues and corresponding paracancerous tissues were detected by methylation-specific PCR (MSP).RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry were used to measure mRNA and protein expressions of MGMT and DNMT1, respectively. Results:Methylation rate of MGMT gene promoter in gastric cancer was significantly higher than that in paracancerous tissue (45.0% vs.13.3%, P<0.001).The positivity rate of MGMT mRNA in gastric cancer was significantly lower than that in paracancerous tissue (41.7% vs.93.3%, P<0.001), while the positivity rate of DNMT1 mRNA expression in gastric cancer was significantly higher than that in paracancerous tissue (76.7% vs.18.3%, P<0.001).Methylation rate of MGMT promoter in MGMT mRNA-negative expressed gastric cancer tissue was significantly higher than that in MGMT mRNA-positive expressed gastric cancer tissue (57.1% vs.28.0%, P<0.05).It showed a negative correlation between MGMT protein expression and DNMT1 protein expression in gastric cancer tissue (r=-0.795, P<0.01).Conclusions:Promoter methylation of MGMT gene and high expression of DNMT1 may be associated with the development and progression of gastric cancer.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2015;(12):1880-1881,1882
Objective To study the effect of aspirin in the prevention of cardiovascular events for patients with hypertension. Methods 105 patients with hypertensive disease were randomly divided into group A,B,C, 35 cases in each group, and group A was dealed with nifedipine tablets treatment, group B were treated with nifedipine tablets and aspirin, group C was given nifedipine tablets and dipyridamole. The antihypertensive effects of the three groups were observed, three years through regular follow -up for all patients, the effects of prevention of cardiovascular events in patients with essential hypertension were observed. Results The occurrence probability of myocardial infarction, cerebral infarction and cerebral hemorrhage in the group B were 2.85%,2.85%,0.00%,respectively, which were statistically significant less than those in the group A and C group(F =19.4,P <0.05).Conclusion The preventive effect of aspirin is better for cardiovascular events in hypertensive patients, which is worthy to be popu-larized and used in clinical studies, aspirin for this kind of disease is a kind of ideal.
