Objective To systematically evaluate the value of narrow band imaging(NBI)and iodine staining in early diagnosis of esophageal cancer and precancerous lesions.Methods The databases of PubMed,Embase,CNKI,VIP technological journals and Wanfang digital journals were retrieved by computer for searching the literatures on the value of NBI and iodine staining in diagnosing early esophageal cancer and precancerous lesions.The Meta-Disc 1.4 software was used to conduct the meta analysis and calculate the pooled sensitivity,specificity and 95％ confidence interval(95％ CI).Summary receiver operating characteristic(SROC)curve was drawn and the area under curve(AUC)was calculated,thus the diagnostic values of the two methods were evaluated.Results Totally 13 articles were included,including 975 patients.The pooled sensitivity and specificity for NBI were 0.88(95％CI=0.86 to 0.90)and 0.79(95％CI=0.76 to 0.82).The pooled sensitivity and specificity for iodine staining were 0.95(95％CI=0.93 to 0.97)and 0.45(95％CI=0.40 to 0.49).AUC of SROC for the two methods were 0.938 6 and 0.952 9 respectively.There was no statistically difference in the AUC values between the two methods(Z=0.519,P>0.05).Conclusion NBI and iodine staining are both effective ways in the diagnosis of early esophageal cancer and precancerous lesions.And both of them have a certain clinical value.

[Objective] To further study tanshinone role in intestinal barrier dysfunction in sepsis. [Methods] Mainly refer to nearly a decade at home and abroad on tanshinone pharmacological effects, and tanshinone in sepsis, especially the impact on the intestinal barrier dysfunction. [Results] Tanshinone in sepsis, and heart head blood-vessel, anti-tumor and so on in the field of study is more, but improving sepsis of intestinal barrier function in aspects of the study is less, but through tanshinone antibacterial anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti platelet aggregation, improve microcirculation, regulate immune function, this paper expounds tanshinone improving sepsis, possible mechanisms of intestinal barrier function. [Conclusion] Tanshinone can improve sepsis pathophysiological process, ischemia oxygen to the tissues and organs and whole body strong inflammatory reaction factors such as the cause of intestinal barrier function is impaired, but for its specific mechanism, further research is needed.

Nowadays, it is necessary to emphasize the three basic inseparable elements in the treatment of severe burn infection, which are systemic care, burn wound care, and rational use of antimicrobials topically or systematically. Systemic care has been shifted from simple nutritional support to maintaining the systemic homeostasis, including balancing immune-inflammatory response, and protecting organs from dysfunction. Some work focused on regulating systemic immune response in the initial phase and the balance of inflammatory response after occurrence of severe burn infection have been reported. These results at least broaden our thinking to recognize that treatment should not only destroy microbes, but also balance the response of the body. Escharectomy in earlier phase has been a consensus. Currently, we turn our vision into how to use "damage control surgery (DCS)" concept in management of severe burn. DCS in burn care includes the evaluation of perioperative situation more accurate to make a more appropriate surgical decision. Meanwhile, an overall strategy should be established to confront the rapidly increasing drug resistance of the pathogens. The release of endotoxin after use of antimicrobials, which has been studied widely, should be explored further.

Objective:To discuss the performance management method for large medical equipments in hospitals.Methods:13 large medical equipments in a large hospital were selected as samples and the economic efficiency analysis method and comprehensive evaluation method were aaplied to carry out performance management of medical equipment.Results:11 sets of medical equipment had good economic returns,the remaining 2 sets of equipments had a greater degree of loss due to lack of business and lack of qualification.Conclusion:Performance management of large medical equipments would help change the efficiency management of equipment from extensive to elaborate management.

AIM: To study the effect of acute renal failure (ARF) on the differentiated frequency of Sca-1+ cells from murine fetal liver in irradiated mice. METHODS: The Sca-1+ cells from murine fetal liver were isolated with magnetic cell sorting (MACS) technique, the sex of which was identified by PCR. The 2?104 Sca-1+ cells were transplanted into a lethally irradiated ([ 60Co], 8 Gy) inbred female mouse. After 8 weeks, these recipient mice were divided to A, B, and C groups at random (A group: irradiated; B group: ARF; C group: ARF and Sca-1+). The mice in B and C groups were induced to ARF with 50% (V/V) glycerin (11.6 mL/kg). 72 hours later, the mice in C group were injected with the fresh prepared Sca-1+ cells again. 8 weeks later, mice were sacrificed, and their kidneys were taken out, fixed and slices were prepared. Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) of renal slices was performed and the pictures of them were taken and analyzed. RESULTS: The cells containing Y chromosome were found in renal slices from the mice in A, B and C groups, which located in epithelial cells of renal tubules, interstitium, glomeruli, and glomerular margin and increased gradually. The double and encircle zone of Y chromosome cells were found in the slices from the mice in B and C groups separately, which was consist of new renal tubules. Objective To study the effects of self- edited doggerel on health education of senile AIDS patients in northern Guangxi region, in order to seek a suitable and effective way for the senile AIDS patients' health education. Methods 200 senile patients who were inpatients in dermatological department and examinees in the center of health examination of our hospital were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group from August to December in 2009, 100 cases in each group, the experimental group was educated by a method of adopting a self-edited doggerel, the control group was educated by traditional way including manual + video or a series of special lectures, Two groups were carried out questionnaire survey designed by ourselves before and after the education during a period of a week and then evaluated the effects of health education. Results Compared with the rate before adopting self-edited doggerel, the knowing rate of AIDS and regulations of the experimental group was above 90%,there was a significant increase; and compared with the control group, the rate was also higher than the latter. The behaviors and attitudes of the experimental group had a significant positive improvement, but showed no significant difference between the two groups. Conclusions The doggerel is humorous, rhyming, simple and easy-going, it is so user-friendly, easy to understand and to remember that it is a suitable and effective way for the health education of senile AIDS patients.

Objective To explore the molecular mechanism of S100A9-induced secretion of vascular endothelial growth factor-A (VEGF-A)by monocytes.Methods Peripheral blood specimen were collected from healthy individuals undergoing physical exami-nation and the CD14 + monocytes were purified by using immunomagnetic beads and the expression of the receptor for advanced gly-cation endproducts (RAGE)was detected by flow cytomertry.In vitro CD14 + monocytes were stimulated by S100A9,and anti-RAGE antibody or NK-κB signal pathway inhibitor were pre-incubated for 1 hour and then stimulated by S100A9,the levels of VEGF-A were detected by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results The high level of RAGE was expressed by isolated CD14 + monocytes,after S100A9 stimulation,the secretion of VEGF-A by CD14 + monocytes was significantly increased in a dose and time dependent manner.However,the inducing VEGF-A was significantly decreased(P <0.01 ),while pre-treated with anti-RAGE antibody or NK-κB inhibitor (P <0.01).Conclusion S100A9 inducing the secretion of VEGF-A by monocytes and is de-pended on RAGE-NK-κB signal pathway,suggesting that S100A9 might promote angiogenesis.
