Objective To develop a method for determination of magnolin in Bimingan Pellets. Methods HPLC was adopted for determination by using Agilent Eclipse XDB-C18 column (4.6 mm×150 mm, 5 μm), acetonitrile-water(40∶60) as the mobile phase. The detection wavelength was 278 nm. Results The method was linear in the range of 0.117~2.340 μg for the injection volume of magnolin(r=0.999 94), and the average recovery was 99.4%, RSD=1.9%. Conclusion The method was simple, accurate, reliable and reproducible for the quality control of Bimingan Pellets.

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of hydrogel dressing for alprostadil-induced phlebitis. Methods Forty-three patients with alprostadil-induced phlebitis were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group (n= 22),in which hydrogel dressing was applied to affected area,and control group(n = 21),in which mucopolysaccharide polysulfate cream was used to coat the surface of the skin. The curative effects were observed and compared between the two groups. Results The therapy effect on day 7 was superior to that on day 3 in both groups.The curative rate was 86.36% in the treatment group and 47.62% in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Hydrogel dressing can effectively treat alprostadil-induced by phlebitis.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the status of the sharp injuries among medical workers in operating department and explore the countermeasures for the occupational protection.METHODS The status of the sharp injuries was investigated retrospectively from Jul 2006 to Jun 2007 used a self-designed questionnaire among 255 medical workers in three grade 2A hospitals in Tongcheng city.RESULTS Among the medical workers 63.14% suffered sharp injuries.Furthermore,the proportion of sharp injuries among doctors,nurses and nurse students were 46.67%,80.00% and 92.73%,and the sharp injuries rate was closely associated with the working years.The type of sharp injuries was closely associated with occupation.The proportion of reporting sharp injuries among doctors,nurses and nurse students was 38.57%,87.50% and 3.92%,respectively.The proportion of taking on gloves among doctors,nurses and nurse students was 88.0%,80.0% and 16.37% when they worked in contact with blood or body liquid.CONCLUSIONS The medical workers meet the danger of sharp injury.Nurse students and new medical workers have high incidence of the sharp injury,so they are high-risk subjects who should enhance their safeguard procedures.Thus,perfecting the operating protocols and standardizing the managements of occupational prevention and protection could reduce the sharp injuries rate.

Objective To study the influence of evidence-based health education in improving the ability of daily life and nursing satisfaction of patients.Methods A total of 80 schizophrenic patients were randomly divided into a control group (40 persons) and an experimental group (40 persons).The health education of routine ways was adopted on the control group.As for the experimental group,we posed questions,collected related literature and evidence through evidence-based support,set the health education based on the actual situation for individual and adjusted flexibly according to the affect of the health education during practice process.Two groups of patients were assessed by daily activity scale,positive and negative symptom scale weekly.We use questionnaire to compare with the satisfaction of two groups for patients when they left hospitals,including the disease-related knowledge,the satisfaction of the ways of the health education,the satisfaction of nurses.Using SPSS 18.0,the data between two groups were compared by t test,or Z test,or chi square test.Results After the implementation of evidence-based health education,the experimental group started at the second week,the PANSS scale score was lower than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The score of experimental group'ADL scale compared with control group reached normal level in the third week and had statistic significance,P＜0.05.The questionnaire results showed that the average score of disease related knowledge and the average score of health education methods were higher in the experimental group than in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).In the evaluation of the most satisfactory nurses,patients' satisfaction in experimental group was higher than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (x2=16.56,P=0.000).Conclusion The implementation of evidence-based health education for patients with schizophrenia can effectively improve their daily living ability,improve their mastery of disease-related knowledge and satisfaction with nursing.

The review summarized the diagnostic strategy of ischemic cerebrovascular diseases and introduced some progress in clinic.As ischemic cerebrovascular diseases were highly heterogeneous,the review analyzed their characteristics step by step.Through the primary diagnosis,etiological diagnosis,evaluation of risk factors and factor analysis of the whole body,the review describe the diagnostic program of the diseases and provide suggestion about the individually therapy and prevention.

Objective To investigate the association between diabetes and pancreatic cancer to provide the basis for the early di‐agnosis and prevention of pancreatic cancer .Methods By formulating the retrieval stategy ,the databases of PubMed ,EMbase ,Ov‐id 、EBSCO ,CNKI and CBMdisc ,VIP ,Wanfang/database etc .were retrieve by computer from their establishment to July of 2013 .At the same time ,the relevant literature references were also retrieved .All case‐control studies(CCS) on the association between diabe‐tes and pancreatic cancer were included and their quality was assessed .The meta analysis was conducted by using Review Manager 5 .0 software .Results A total of 21 CSC were included ,finally 18 case‐control studies met the inclusion criteria for conducting meta analysis ,including 6 184 cases in the pancreatic cancer group and 10 296 cases in the control group .The meta analysis on the pan‐creatic cancer group and the control group showed that the result of heterogeneity test from all research data was I2 = 74% ,χ2 =65 .38 ,P< 0 .01 ,the random effects model was adopted ,the pooled odds ratio(OR) was 3 .60 and 95% confidence interval(95% CI) was 3 .28 - 3 .94 ,the difference showed the statistic significance(P< 0 .05) ,which indicating that the risk suffering diabetes in the patients with pancreatic cancer was 3 .6 times of the normal population .Conclusion Diabetes is associated with pancreatic cancer and diabetes may be an early clinical manifestation of pancreatic cancer .

Objective To observe the targeting effect of curcumin gelatin microsphere in rats in vivo. Methods Injections of curcumin gelatin microsphere and curcumin were injected via tail vein, respectively. HPLC was used to determine the content of curcumin in different organs. The pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated on the basis of compartment models by using DAS 2. 0 program. Targeting efficiency was used to evaluate tissue distribution of curcumin. Results Targeting efficiency of curcumin gelatin microsphere in heart, liver, spleen, lung and kidney was 0. 875, 0. 121, 1. 182, 5. 834 and 0. 896, respectively. Conclusion Curcumine gelatin microspheres can improve lung-targeting efficiency, and benefit for study on lung targeting therapeutic effect.

● AIM: To investigate the sequential changes of HIF-1 α Protein and mRNA in hypoxic bovine retinal microvessel endothelial cells.● METHODS: The bovine retinal microvessel endothelial cells were cultured in normoxic and CoCl2-induced hypoxic conditions respectively. Expressions of HIF-1 α Protein were measured with immunohistochemical staining, and RT-PCR was used to determine the HIF-1 α mRNA.● RESULTS: HIF-1 α began to increase 1h after hypoxia,and reached the peak at 4h. After 16h, it declined significantly. Compared with the normoxic group, the expression of HIF-1 α protein in the hypoxic groups had significant difference (P＜0.01), and HIF-1 α mRNA expression was unchanged under hypoxia.● CONCLUSION: HIF-1 α participates in the hypoxic procedures in retinal microvessel endothelial cells, and hypoxia induce time-dependent changes of HIF-1 α protein expression, which is not modulated on the transcription level. Analysis of HIF-1 α expression revealed a temporal and spatial changes with regard to the hyperoxic repression, indicating that HIF-1 may play a major role in the development of retinopathy of prematurity and other ischemic retinal disorders such as diabetic retinopathy.

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Jiefujing lotion in the treatment of patients with vulvi- tis and vaginitis(due to downward flow of damp-heat).Methods A randomized,double blind,and multi-center clin- ical trial was performed with Jie' eryin lotion as positive parallel control.Results No obvious difference was observed in general curative effect and symptom-sign curative effect between the two groups(P＞0.05),neither obvious side ef- fects was observed.Conclusion Jiefujing lotion is safe and effective in the treatment of vulvitis and vaginitis due to downward flow of damp-heat.

Objective: To prepare silibinin solid dispersion and measure its dissolution in vitro .Methods: Silibinin solid dispersions were obtained with urea, PVP and poloxamer188 as carriers by melting and coevaporation methods. Differential thermal analysis and powder X ray diffraction were used to determine the status of drug in carriers, and the dissolution characteristics in vitro were studied in simulated gastric juice. Results: In PVP silibinin solid dispersions drug was amorphous; in poloxamer188 silibinin solid dispersions, drug existed as fine crystal, while in urea silibinin solid dispersions most of silibinin existed as crystal, only a little as molecule. Poloxamer188 was the better carrier in improving the solution and dissolution rate of the drug. Conclusion: Poloxamer188 is a very useful carrier in improving the solubility and dissolution of silibinin. [
